The location is perfect for go everywhere. Hotel is clean and service is excellent. We booked double bed 1 room. Room was kind of small but most of the Tokyo hotels are small. So this is not problem.

Excellent location! Clean, hygienic, and great service! It's very convenient to get to Shinjuku, and you can quickly reach the station for other destinations too. Definitely great value for money!

Great location. But very very small room. Clean and friendly other than the size was good. 

You can barely fit a suitcase in next to the bed

It's quite a long walk from the subway station, the room type is a bit old-fashioned, and there's no complimentary room cleaning service. You might want to think twice before booking.

We juststayed at the Sunlight Hotel Shinjuku and really enjoyed the location. While the room is small, it was my wife and me in the room. It worked out, we just had to put our suitcase 2 large and 2 small under the bed. Overall, while that was annoying, we really spent more time outside of the hotel and enjoyed the closeness to so many places and Shinjuku Station. I would book there again.

It's been many years since I last stayed at this hotel. The transportation is decent; it's about a 10-15 minute walk to Shinjuku, so not exactly close. However, you can easily walk to Shinjuku 2-chome and 3-chome for food, drinks, and entertainment. Overall, it's a good choice.
