Minshuku Zabaru in Ishigaki

This guesthouse makes you feel like you're back home. You can even use the washing machine, so it's just the right environment for you. It's located between the city center and the airport, and there are buses running about twice an hour, but if you have a rental car it's no problem.
The owner is a wonderful, warm-hearted person.

The building is close to the bus stop called "Basuki na yo" ("Don't forget me" in Ishigaki dialect), but it is far from the center of Ishigaki. If you rent a car, it should not be a problem. The people at the guesthouse were very kind.

I was looking for a cheap hotel close to the airport. From the airport, take the number 4 bus from bus stop A, and get off at the fourth stop, "Basuki Naayo"? (I don't really understand what it means, so I can't remember it ^^;) It took less than 10 minutes, and it cost 210 yen to get off. When I got off the bus from the airport at night, it was pitch black and I couldn't find the hotel along the road at all. I couldn't find it with the information I had heard at the airport information desk, so I called and they came to pick me up. From the airport, if you walk a little in the direction you are heading, you will see a sign on the other side, but you can't see the sign from the bus stop. The bus stop to the airport is right in front of the hotel, so it was easy. When I searched for reservations just before, it seemed to be full, but there was no one in the other rooms on the second floor where it stopped. I wonder if only one group had made a reservation? So, even though the bath and toilet were shared, I was alone, so I felt free and didn't have to worry about anything. There was a TV and a refrigerator in the room, a sink, an electric kettle, mugs, instant coffee, and plenty of hangers, which was very helpful. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom, so I used it there. I was also able to borrow a towel. There was air conditioning, wifi, a desk, chair, and a place to put your luggage, so it felt like a normal room. If there was a downside? Maybe it's unavoidable given the location, but in the morning, there were small insects about 1mm in the sink, which was a bit annoying... It's not a big deal if you think about camping or camping. Also, there was no hot water in the sink in the room, so I used the sink in the bathroom to wash my face in the morning. I didn't see the only person at the inn, probably the mother who came to pick me up when I arrived. Overall, it was good, although I think it was because there were no other guests.

Very good house's owner. We have stayed here for 7 days. Very clean environment and the house's owner is very kind and nice. Although she quite old and don't know english, she keep the house very clean and always ensure all are staying comfortable.

It was very nice and comfortable.
We were treated to mangoes from my grandmother's farm and Yaeyama soba noodles.

I stayed there the next day because it was near the airport to head to Yonaguni Island.
It was cheap so I should have just slept, but the room was clean and very nice!
The inn was also a simple local person and I felt good.
I would like to use it again.

I stayed for about 2 weeks,
The room is clean, there is Wi-Fi, there is a washing machine, and there is a kitchen that you can use freely.
Recommended for those who want to stay for a long time at a low price.
Above all, the mother of the inn is kind and comfortable.
