Hotels in Shikoku

Very old and dated, tatami bedding was a “mattress”, welcome gifts (as depicted) were great, and food (dinner and breakfast) were buffet style which was not something we were expecting. However the food was not too bad. Overall doable for a one night stay but not beyond that. Piping/ drainage may have been an issue as there was a stench in most common toilets in the hotel.

Already 3rd times in this hotel it was good but the last stay it was bad, i just feel getting worst and worse, this times I pay almost 75000Yen for a night but they located me at a no view just in front of machine platform and the tea in room is very cheap one. I won’t book this hotel again, it does disappointed me a lot.

The buffets are good with many different kinds of foods and good

The hotel is quite old and the room space is too small comparable with other onsen hotels. I am quite disappointed about the room because it doesn't like a onsen hotel.

Booked this last minute due to closure of Naruto bridge due to severe weather. Booking and checking in was a breeze. Room is a little small but for the price we paid it is reasonable There’s also water dispensing station on some levels and microwave on the level we stayed. I was here for a luncheon meeting. Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I've been back for the buffet at Myrica. I had a seat facing the yacht harbor and river. Quite pleasant.

Convenient location, proper accommodation fee, and a clean room

Even if I checked in late, they still prepared a bento box for me, which was a real lifesaver.

I've been to Okudogo six times, which means I visit Matsuyama frequently. Every time I go, I make sure to visit Okudogo. In spring, the cherry blossoms are stunning. This is a relatively old hotel. The toilets are terrible; they're way too small and not even separated into wet and dry areas. It's cramped even for one person to stand in. The view is okay, nothing special. The staff are quite friendly. Overall, it's not worth over 1000 RMB; poor value for money.

The hotel is not close to Dogo Onsen street and you will need to drive or get a taxi if you want to go there. There are no restaurants or shops nearby the hotel. The hotel scenery was absolutely stunning in the fall, and overall it wasn't too crowded. The large bathroom had many pools and a private hot tub. Dinner was a buffet with a wide variety of dishes.

Environment: There was a slight musty smell, but overall it was clean and tidy. Service: The staff were proactive and responsive. Their English wasn't great, but their attitude towards communication was excellent. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet with 80 dishes featuring local Ehime ingredients! Late-night soba noodles: Nice, very cozy. Natural hot spring "Ishi-no-yu" (free for guests): It gets quite crowded, so you need to go at the right time. Many hotels in Japan have this kind of facility, and it's really comfortable. Service: The front desk staff speak English, but not Chinese.

Very good service and good location

Although it takes more time to get this hotel than the other hotels which just build surround the JR station, it's had big clean rooms and modern facilities. It's a worth to go, and this hotel is super close to the restaurant and shopping area, it's a nice experience to live there.

This hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Takamatsu's downtown shopping district, making it super easy to get around. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the airport shuttle bus stops just a 5-minute walk away. The room is spacious and comfortable. It is very good to soak in the hot spring until 2 am. Free parking is very convenient. It is only a 5-minute drive from the city center. There are many restaurants opposite. The front desk staff is very considerate. The breakfast restaurant staff and the two chefs are very polite. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Takamatsu.

I stayed at a single room with breakfast included. The room size was larger than other hotels, and it was nice to have a large public bath. The bath amenities were great. It was spacious and clean. I really relaxed in the lobby and bath. There was Sanuki Flower Garden nearby, so I enjoyed the flowers. I traveled by car, though. It was also refreshing to walk to the ranch 🫏 and see the cows from a distance.

Nice hotel that’s just had been refreshed but still have the 90s vibe. Reception staff was a senior gentleman who looked like he can’t speak English but was able to converse in English. The room (2 beds) was quite spacious - the biggest one i had in Japan. The bathroom had a lot of space as well. Everything was clean and nice. The location is a bit far from the railway station, but the bus stop is nearby and if you're with a backpack it's just 20 minutes walk.

Close to JR station and the services are good

Extremely clean and tidy, with excellent service. Though small, it has everything you need. Shopping and dining nearby are convenient, and transportation is easy. You can walk to attractions and the train station.
