Both Kochi Station and Hirome Market are within walking distance. There is no large public bath, and the bathtub in the room is small. Guests were given a free drink of water. The breakfast was substantial.

This is a relatively old hotel. The toilets are terrible; they're way too small and not even separated into wet and dry areas. It's cramped even for one person to stand in. The view is okay, nothing special. The staff are quite friendly. Overall, it's not worth over 1000 RMB; poor value for money.

The hotel scenery was absolutely stunning in the fall, and overall it wasn't too crowded. The large bathroom had many pools and a private hot tub. Dinner was a buffet with a wide variety of dishes.

Environment: There was a slight musty smell, but overall it was clean and tidy. Service: The staff were proactive and responsive. Their English wasn't great, but their attitude towards communication was excellent. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet with 80 dishes featuring local Ehime ingredients! This is probably a place for group tours. The focus was on the flow of things, and I didn't get the feeling of New Year's. Every year, we go on a New Year's family trip to various hot spring resorts and stay at decent hotels, but this time I felt like I made a mistake.

I went to Hirome Market earlier than check-in time, but I was able to park my car in the parking lot. The open-air bath was also very nice, and the breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. The Thursday Market was right outside the inn, so I was able to buy fresh vegetables and fruits early in the morning. Thanks to this, I had a great trip.

The "Yudono-Suiyokaku" at the Sancuiyuan Hotel is the only natural hot spring in Kochi Castle. Seasonal Tosa cuisine is served for dinner. It was a great stay and good food, and it was another wonderful day in Kochi.

This time I stayed here, and it's wonderful that I was able to come across it.

I arrived earlier than check-in time, but the two men at the reception desk were kind enough to let me check in in advance and store my luggage for me. The location was close to Matsuyama Castle and Dogo Onsen, and it was easy to get around by tram, so it was very convenient. I was alone, but I had a comfortable semi-double room. The breakfast was thoughtful, with vinegar drinks and curry.

The cost-effectiveness is not bad.

The location of the accommodation was convenient, a 5-10 minute walk from the bustling Okaido area. Breakfast, while limited in selection, was decent. However, the shops on Okaido Street close earlier than expected (they close around 7-8 PM). If you're looking for dinner, it's best to arrive early.

The bath amenities were great. It was spacious and clean. I really relaxed in the lobby and bath. There was Sanuki Flower Garden nearby, so I enjoyed the flowers. I traveled by car, though. It was also refreshing to walk to the ranch 🫏 and see the cows from a distance.

Very old and dated, tatami bedding was a “mattress”, welcome gifts (as depicted) were great, and food (dinner and breakfast) were buffet style which was not something we were expecting. However the food was not too bad. Overall doable for a one night stay but not beyond that. Piping/ drainage may have been an issue as there was a stench in most common toilets in the hotel.

Already 3rd times in this hotel it was good but the last stay it was bad, i just feel getting worst and worse, this times I pay almost 75000Yen for a night but they located me at a no view just in front of machine platform and the tea in room is very cheap one. Very nice hotel, with a supermarket right across the road. Easy access via main road. The staff are nice and friendly. Room was spacious and well appointed, newly renovated. It was about 10 mins walk to Kotohiragu so we left our car after check out and walk to Kotohiragu. Would recommend if you want to avoid the crowd.
