Shikoku, Takamatsu, 1-4-19 Nishikimachi 🧭 Map
Nice hotel, near the station and correct price.
This hotel is nice, the staff guidance are good and have all well equipped facilities
Location is convenient, close to train station and a lot of restaurant nearby. The toilet/ bathroom was smelly but overall the room was clean. Have a big parking lot right in front of the hotel which is a plus.
Takamatsu Century Hotel is conveniently located nearby Takamatsu Station and Kagawa University where the conference that I was attending took place. The hotel provides all the necessary basic facilities and room is equipped with perfect amenities for a comfortable stay.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Takamatsu JR Station and the pier, offering a very convenient location. The room was quite spacious, and the stay offered excellent value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Takamatsu.
Delicious breakfast with a variety of food selection. Onshen is clean and spacious. Good customer service at the front desk.

Really great stay here. Wonderful staff that made you feel at ease and taken care of. Good breakfast selection as well with a wide selection of local and non-local foods. Pham Ngoc Thanh Thu in particular was really welcoming and wonderful at the front desk, she always made sure we had everything we needed, so big thank you to her!
Good location, advanced facilities, high quality food, especially the breakfast buffet with many choices and good taste. The hotel staff are friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, which is a very good impression.
The price-performance ratio is very low. I live in a room on the 7th floor on the road side. There is a smell of oil smoke. Next to it is the exhaust vent of the anorectal hospital. I dare not open the window. If I don't open it, there is no ventilation. The toilet has a smell. There is no hot spring, only hot water bath. Except for the food and service, everything else is really average.
I stayed here for one night about 2 years ago. I was planning another trip and remembered I never left a review. When we stayed here, we arrived late from Osaka and the staff was very accomidating and had our dinner ready for us on arrival. The food was great and the room was nice. I have stayed in many Ryokan while on vacation in Japan and I really enjoyed both Kochi and 城西館. The town has a lot of...
It was really awesome.....At the door, a gentleman came to ask our names. He knew we were staying today and came to greet us. We were arranged in a Western-style room with yukata, socks, and clogs ready. The yukata was super nice...I went to the big bathroom to take a bath at night and slept comfortably. The breakfast the next day was too exaggerated...A lot of odds and ends. I was shocked by the ritual...
It was an old-style inn, but the room was spacious and I was able to relax.

The hotel staff were incredibly kind! I think I messed up dialing the phone and only my voice went through, but before I could figure out what to do, they came to my room to assist me. Both at check-in and check-out, they were just as lovely. Such great service for an affordable price!
While I felt that hotel prices in Matsuyama were a little on the expensive side, this hotel provided decent value for money. It's conveniently located near the tram station, and although the building isn't new, it was spotless. I had hoped to relax until the 10 AM check-out, but the cleaning of other rooms started, and it got quite loud. While some noise is to be expected, I really wish the staff wouldn...
The rooms are a decent size. On the first floor, there's a microwave and an ice machine for guests to heat food and grab ice. The hotel is located right behind Matsuyama Castle, with a hiking trail starting there that leads directly up to the castle, so you don't have to go all the way around to the front entrance. For transportation, it's conveniently close to Iyo Railway Shimizu-machi Station. If...
The location is highly recommended if you enjoy walking. However, even if you prefer not to walk extensively, there's a tram station and a 7-Eleven just a 1-2 minute walk directly outside the property, which is super convenient, especially for solo travelers. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the view from the property was fantastic. Being situated behind Matsuyama Castle, it's easily accessible...
The hotel is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bustling city center. Situated behind Matsuyama Castle and a nearby park, it offers a tranquil environment and pleasant views. The convenient tram system nearby also makes it ideal for exploring. If you enjoy walking and taking leisurely strolls, I highly recommend this place. The amenities are well-appointed, and both the hotel's hot spring (onsen...
The hotel is conveniently located at the foot of Matsuyama Castle Park. From the hotel, a convenient mountain path (walk left for a few hundred meters, then turn left again) offers a direct, pleasant 20-minute uphill walk to Matsuyama Castle, sparing you the ropeway trip. To reach the hotel from JR Matsuyama Station, take the Iyo Railway Loop Line (tram) from the front of the station (to your left...

This price is really great value for money, but it's a minor shame there's no parking!
It’s very new and clean. The room is wide and the beds also. I enjoyed the place
Reasonable price. Good service, walkable distance to train station and high street.
Room and washroom are very small. Having microwave in the room is a plus. Not in the city center, but if you are traveling to islands or getting on JR most of the time, it's a very convenient location
We are group of 7 peoples and require documents for claiming insurance due to typhoon in hk and delay our flight. The staff at reception, Nhu speaks good English and is very helpful in preparing our documents. Appreciate her effort to add credit to our stay.
Nice clean hotel but quite a long walk from train station. Microwave oven provided in the room.

Great room big and clean, big TV
this is a love hotel, and the room is super big,the bath room is super big too than you can spa inside
Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good.
This really is the legendary couples' hotel, definitely not suitable for those with small children (you know what I mean!). But seriously, this is the biggest room I've ever stayed in in Japan!!! The room was so big we could open both our suitcases without them getting in the way. The bed was definitely a king-size. They also offer breakfast and free parking. All in all, for me, there are no downsides...
For the price it was a perfect stay and managed to relax and recover for our trip. Even if it’s a love hotel the fine garden chain has treated us very well.
Very good hotel with top tier equipment and food. I plan to use this hotel again.

Conveniently situated right next to Dogo Onsen. Rooftop Onsen has a lovely view of the city and is very clean.
Direct access to dogo onsen and shopping district from hotel lobby
Excellent location, have a "private road" to Dogo Onsen. Staff are really welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts are good. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits the city.
Very nice hotel with Onsen included. Location excellent as well shopping and restaurants are very near.
Strongly recommend to book this hotel as the hotel staffs are nice, location is good and facilities are new.
The hotel is located very close to Dogo Onsen. It has a special path leading directly to the Onsen shopping street. There are a lot of choices for dinner and breakfast. It has all the facilities you are looking for.

The location is acceptable, the service staff are friendly, but the equipment is a bit old.
Staff are very nice and super helpful.
All facilities and room are very old. Need renovations. This price of this old hotel is expensive. Not recommended to stay.
Friendly staff, good location, nice breakfast.
The facilities are a bit dated, showing how prosperous Japan once was. Compared to newer hotels in my home country today, it can't quite compete, but everything is functional, and most importantly, it's very clean. The hotel location is convenient, and a walk along the river is peaceful and relaxing.
The room was clean and tidy, the environment was excellent, and it was convenient for getting around. The service was especially good. It was a very satisfying experience.

I stayed here for 2 nights.. Very comfortable! Price as good. Location was perfect (near JR Matsuyama station and Iyotetsu station too). Staff was very friend and helpful!! Room was VERY Comfortable and spacious!!! I'll definitely stay here again!!
Room - passable. I got one which has mold on the window panes and curtains. Room smelt wet and the carpet very slightly moist. But the bed was comfortable at least and the temperature control worked. Unit bath was upgraded but tiny. Service - also good. Like in Japan, it's hard to go low. Great location, close to Matsuyama station and streetcar. Room is not cramp and had good city view. I love the bed, have a great sleep.
The hotel is no longer called "NEW Kajiwara Hotel." The name is simply "Kajiwara Hotel." My room was clean and comfortable. Convenient location less than a five-minute walk from JR Matsuyama Station.

Reasonable price and location, a little bit old. The bed is good, spacious
This hotel has all the basic things you need for a cheap stay. The room we stayed in is comfortable enough with sufficient space to move around even with our twin beds. The hotel is very close to Kochi Station and the bus station for the airport. With about 10-min walk, you can reach Hasuikemachi and Harimayabashi areas for some nice restaurants, walking a few minutes further you can also easily reach...
No elevator but they will help you carry your luggage upstairs. Love the massage chair and bath! Great Japanese breakfast.
Rooms - lived in a single room which is atypically small in business hotels of this variety. Standard amenities included. Service - to me, it was standard Japanese service and a bit more. Greeting every guest everytime someone walks through the door, giving information to the best of their abilities. Limited English but they are more than happy to use Google translate to make sure you understand....
The staff were very polite and quick to respond!! The bathroom in the room was very spacious, with a separate bathroom and toilet, a TV and a jacuzzi!! There was a twist-type light adjustment bar, but it seemed like it would short out if you fiddled with it. It's a...
The hotel is old, but the inside was kept clean. It was a shame that the sauna water bath was too warm and the massage chair was broken and could not be used. It's better to rent a bicycle to go to the city center.

Shikoku, Tokushima, 3-16-3 Ichiban-cho, Tokushima-shi 🧭 Map
The staff is nice, but there is not much parking space in the hotel.
The hotel facilities are okay, but overall it's quite old. The main problem is that the rooms have absolutely no air conditioning; they only provide fans. Don't stay there! The windows can't be opened.
The hotel is conveniently located near the JR station. It was surprisingly modern and tasteful, and the rooms were more spacious than those at similarly priced chain hotels. The staff were very friendly and polite. What impressed us even more was that when they cleaned our room while we were out, they even neatly folded the freshly washed clothes we had left spread on the bed. Highly recommended.
Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated, but impeccably clean. While the rooms are on the smaller side, the hotel's location is superb, right by Tokushima Station, and just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop. Cleanliness: Excellent. Location: Its proximity to Tokushima Station makes dining and transportation incredibly convenient. This proved invaluable on our departure; we had only ten minutes...
The room was spacious enough to fully open a 28-inch suitcase.
Despite the hotel opening in 1949 and its last major renovation being in 1988, the lobby and bathrooms clearly appear to have been recently updated and were spotless. The in-room facilities, however, definitely show their age. The air conditioning is controlled from the bedside table, with the temperature displayed in Fahrenheit. Nevertheless, the room was very clean overall.

A very cost-effective hotel in downtown Takamatsu, about a 15-minute walk from the pier. Facilities: The hotel is quite old, so the facilities are relatively dated. Service: The front desk clerk was very welcoming, and the breakfast was a typical Japanese breakfast...
I was randomly assigned a two-bed room. The hotel is older so there is a slight odor on some floors. The hot springs are very hot and soothing. It is a 20-minute walk from Takamatsu Port along Hyogo-dori. Breakfast is Japanese and drinks are provided.
I was worried because the ratings weren't high... I was completely satisfied. For this price, I think I'll always stay here during my trips to Takamatsu. Highly recommended!! Meals are provided for one person at the restaurant attached to the hotel on the first floor.

Not a terrible hotel but not the greatest either, can verify the free parking available outside the hotel (needed to ask the counter first), but the rooms were a little musky and dusty.

The hotel's hot tub bubbles were decent, but it was really tiny. The self-service laundry was a bit expensive. I didn't like sleeping with the duvet wrapped in a sheet. It's not very convenient if you're staying for more than two nights.

The location is truly excellent. It's less than a 5-minute walk from Kotoden Kataharamachi Station. The bustling downtown area is just a minute away, and the port is a little over a 10-minute walk. The accommodations are certainly a bit dated, but the excellent location makes up for it. Parking is 1,000 yen. Not bad.
The facilities look old, but they're clean and tidy. There are also restaurants, izakayas, and Don Quijote nearby, making it convenient.
I had a comfortable stay. Parking cost 1,000 yen at the hotel's affiliated parking lot. If you look around, you might find a cheaper paid parking lot nearby, but since it's a multi-story parking lot, I think it's a price to pay for peace of mind.
The interior was very spacious. The tables were long enough to accommodate my belongings. There was a shopping alley right behind the hotel, which was great for browsing. Don Quijote was also a five-minute walk away.

This hotel might be considered good by local standards, but my experience wasn't great. The main issue was the hygiene; the bedding had an odd smell that clung to me.
The hotel boasts a convenient location, near Watamachi Station, approximately a 5-minute walk away. Buses to and from the airport are available, taking about an hour. The shopping street is a 10-minute walk away with numerous restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and fully equipped, featuring a washing machine, dryer, cooking utensils, microwave, etc.
Good Location, staff friendly to help us check in.
The location is good for staying in the city. I used a rental car and only had to pay 1,100 yen per day for parking. There was no inconvenience and I rarely encountered it, but the staff was friendly. My whole family liked it and I will visit again if I have the chance. It is not a hotel where you can experience various hotel facilities or fancy services.
Everything is good except the location The room is spacious and there is an induction microwave All the utensils are provided. There are towels in each hallway so you can use them right away.
The room is comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette and washing machine, suitable for family travel. And you can reserve a parking space for 1100 yen a day.
