Business Hotel Rupinas, Takamatsu1 / 12
7.2
Shikoku, Takamatsu, 6 16 Nishinomaru Cho 🧭 Map
Perfect location with JR station, udonya, ramenya, izakaya and convenience stores.
I visited to see the Takamatsu Fireworks. I was worried because of the low price, but it had all the essentials, including an elevator, air conditioning, and a washing machine. It's a three-minute walk from the station, and there's a famous udon restaurant right next door, making it a great place to grab a bite. The room was spacious enough for one person, and they even provided two complimentary drinks...
This hotel is conveniently located close to the JR station, making it easy to explore the area. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience. Highly recommend for travelers seeking convenience and great service!
This is a relatively stylish hotel with clean, new facilities. However, I noticed a lot of fingerprints on the windows of my room, but otherwise, there were no major issues. The staff were young, energetic, and polite with a smile. The bread and coffee provided in the morning was a nice touch.
The Hotel Rupinasu is a simple business hotel that seems a bit dated. However, its location, right next to the main train station and within walking distance of the harbor, is excellent. So, the hotel is okay for one night.
Love the location that is perfect for catching the train or plane. No lack of food choices around. There are weekend markets at the train station, perfect for a leisure browse away from the typical mall shopping. Close to the sea for a morning jog. The lady operating the hotel is also very kind and accommodating

Since it was right next to Ookaido Street, finding dinner was no problem. Having a large public bath in a business hotel was a big plus. Breakfast was also very good. It was a really great hotel considering the reasonable price. I would like to stay there again.
The room is very small. It's so small that you can't even properly open a single suitcase. Also, the atmosphere is zero, though the bed is comfortable and spacious. I really liked that the family bath was free, so I could enjoy the hot springs even with a tattoo, and I appreciated that drinks like orange juice were free. I recommend it for a one-night stay at a low price.
During my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel...
The breakfast was nice. A large range of choices.
The price-to-performance ratio is good, but the bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. However, it is worth it. Don Quijote is nearby, and there is a yakiniku restaurant and Okaido Street next door, so the location is the best. The bathhouse uses hot spring water, but it has a lot of water, so it has a slight hot spring smell. But it was still good.
The room was bigger than I thought. I don't know why there was a sofa, lol. Breakfast was delicious. The public bath was nice, too.

Very family and courteous staff. Parking is 1000 yen and night. Clean room but facilities are a but dated.
Small and simple but easily reachable from the train station.
Located near major shopping and dining in Kochi, this business-class inn was a moderate walk from JR Kochi station and only a few stops away on the local streetcar that runs nearly in front, itself a nostalgic attraction for visitors to the region. Of all my stays in Japan, the front desk and lobby staff went far to make me feel welcome and accommodate my few requests, making my three night stay in...
Kochi is a peaceful and friendly city with beautiful nature and great local food like Katsuo no Tataki. Kochi Castle and the riverside areas are lovely to explore. However, shopping options are limited, nightlife is quiet, and it’s difficult to find rare items such as large raw coral. Transportation is simple but not very frequent. Overall, a calm place for relaxing, but not ideal for special shopping...
Friendly service and complete amenities. Close to Izayaki restaurant and Family Mart. Close to Tosaden bus and tram stations, making travel easy.
You can see it’s a bit old hotel but the twin room we got was not too small unlike typical business hotel. There are signs of care of the people running the hotel, since as the staff, cleanliness, and so on. Reasonable for the location.

The location was great, near the downtown area and the station. Just be aware that the smoking rooms smell strongly of cigarettes!
Very simple business hotel, OK for two nights. Location is good, a few steps from Kawaramachi station, from which most of the sights can be reached!
Clean room wide room the staff is good service, very near in station the very best is the price.
Cheap and convinient to move But it is prohited to take a shower in the morning
A cheap inn close to the Kawaramachi station and the Kawaramachi shopping mall. Good for travelers who want only to take a shower, watch TV and go to bed there. Shower is available from check-in time to midnight. Free wifi is available inside the bedroom. Shower room, toilet and washstand are shared. A convenience store is near the inn.

The stag were so welcoming in my arrival, remembering me from a few weeks ago when I stayed 2 nights. They had already organised a vegetarian Japanese breakfast for me.
The room was not cleaned properly. The bathroom was small and the tiles were sticky and disgusting. For this price, including breakfast, there was no midnight snack. It would be better to choose another hotel with a bathroom.
It was also helpful that they laid out the futons for us. The bath was clean and we were able to relax in the warm water. The parking lot was hard to find. I was able to get a good rest...Thank you very much.
Although the facility has a Showa-era feel, it was very clean and comfortable.
Noisy Japanese male groups didn't close the door and keep talking loud even in midnight. Closing doors without holding the handles was really loud and disturbing at 12am. I understand it was a nice time to hang out with friends but should shut the doors to let other customers rest properly. Do not choose the option with room chosen by the hotel.
The perfect hotel for those who love retro sensibility. The breakfast is also great, and you are lucky enough to be able to relax in the large public bath.

Great location, right next to Dogo onsen and shopping street. a point taken out as we couldn't park at the hotel and hard to park up a steep hill. Okay for us since we only stayed one night and was planning to sightsee by foot but would be a problem if we need to go back and forth between hotel and parking. No onsen on premise but we didn't mind. The hotel is clean and comfortable but a bit dated.
Great hotel, the location is perfect as it is close to the dogo onsen and shopping streets. They provide yukata to go to the onsen. I highly recommend.
Nice room and bed. Lovely staff. Location / price performance was amazing. Solid internet connection. Negative points: 800 yen a day for parking Microwave on the smoking floor. Not enough to warrant knocking a star off.
Great hotel with location right across the historical Dogo Onsen and adjacent shopping streets. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are older but very clean and well-maintained.
Great experience all around, from proximity to Dogo Onsen and surrounding area, ambiance inside, view (even though it wasn't overlooking Dogo Onsen), to room size (larger than typical business hotel), breakfast (typical Japanese fare, but highest quality taste I have had), check out time (11:00), and staff efficiency and English ability. Despite Dogo Onsen being a leisure area, so more enjoyment is...
The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were very polite and the food was delicious, so I was able to relax and enjoy my time there. The cake in the restaurant was very filling and delicious. At this time of year (end of Jan) the hotel was very peaceful. Service was excellent and we had a very pleasant stay in Dogo Grand Hotel.
Very good location. Right next to Dogo Onsen and shopping street. 2 convenience stores in front of the accommodation Family diagonally opposite, 7-Eleven right next door. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and best of all, the smiles of the front desk staff were wonderful! I will definitely use this hotel again!
I stayed for 2 nights in japanese style room. The room and bedding are clean. Every day they prepared clean bedding ,Japanese style clothes and new towels. The room smelled like green tea and the outdoor hot spring was good. The dinner and breakfast were really fantastic. Hot and cold food were served perfectly. I recommend staying here.
We chose the upgraded omacase on the menu and it was out of this world. Everything had their own flavour and simply delicious. The beef you can grill yourself and the abalone was very soft and juicy after being cooked. Everything was just right after the flames went out.
The hotel has hot springs and massage chairs. This day's accommodation includes dinner and breakfast, and the food is all . The view is not very good, the hotel is relatively old, but overall it is clean.

We stayed one night in an indoor camping room with our family. It was fantastic! Of course, it's not the same as real camping, but it was incredibly fun. The kids were fighting over the hammock! I was engrossed in the telescope. The terrace...
I stayed at this inn in early December while cycling around Shikoku. The price was extremely reasonable at just under 8,000 yen per night, including breakfast. We stayed on the first day of a three-day weekend. A beautiful sandy beach and the sea stretch out right in front of us. Beachfront hotel with nice views and nice food.
The scenery was great and the rest was normal. We also have a day trip hot spring, so it was crowded with local uncles and grandfathers. And noisy. For dinner, I ordered a sashimi set meal with a system that selects a set meal, but the content was simple and I wasn't hungry, so I ordered a bukkake udon for 500 yen later.

The location is in front of Koubaitei, so there's a noticeable difference in status, but I decided to stay there considering the price. The room is like a school field trip room. There are many rooms, and they're almost touching. It's not a hotel that ordinary people would usually use. The meal is home-style cooking with about five dishes. It's far too much food to finish. It seemed like a couple...
I visited in October 2011. I checked in a little early, but I was greeted warmly. The bath was open until 10pm, so I was pushed to take a bath earlier, which was a little funny. As others have said, the landlady has a certain charm, but I thought it was good.
The building was old, but it was clean and comfortable. The rice was so voluminous that even junior high school students left it. Kagawa rice was plump and delicious. It was close to Konpira-san pilgrimage, and it was a reasonable inn, so I would like to use it again.
There is a little distance from Konpira-san. The bath was a hot spring and it was a nice bath, but the men's bath was a little narrow. The parking lot is quite far away. The room was clean, but the walls were thin, and I was worried about the sound of opening and closing the door in the next room. The meal features chicken and udon. How about igniting the solid fuel just before sitting? The udon recommended...
Depending on how you feel about the landlady's character, you'll either like it or hate it (the Kagawa dialect should sound pretty rough). I wouldn't say the inn is super clean, but it's not dirty either. The facilities are old (beer vending machines are a bit nostalgic). The food is good, but it could be a little simpler (even if you force yourself to include sashimi, you don't need it because you...
Couldn't praise the owners enough! We recieved a very warm welcome to this family run hotel. The property itself is adequate (2.5/5) but it is the hosts that really make staying here such a comforting experience. Staying here is a must for those hoping to get a taste of real Japan. Absolutely love the 70’s/80’s vibe~ very relaxing 😎 Very generous room size with great views Fantastic hospitality, gentle, caring and focusing on the details Typical Japanese hospitality that you can’t easily find anywhere else.
Even though I arrived late, they kindly welcomed me, and the lake view was really nice. When I went outside at night, there were a few bugs, but it was nice to be able to see the night sky full of stars.
It was a great place to rest and relax. Spa was good and the foods (breakfast and dinner included) were great. They provide the transportation from and to the airport. All workers were very kind. I will definitely stay here when I visit Takamatsu again. It would be better if it is easier to book a room online.

It was cheap and comfortable. I've decided to stay here every time I come to Kagawa. I went by car, and the free parking was also a big plus! The owner even gave me a keychain...I immediately put it on as a memento of my trip! I'm sorry I didn't allow photos! I'll definitely stay here again.
Although it's far from major stations like Takamatsu and Kawaramachi, there's a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket and gas station across the street. There's a coin laundry nearby, so the surrounding facilities aren't bad. However, there are some downsides: 1. We stayed here while on our walking pilgrimage. The owner at the front desk had a lovely, homely smile. As we are elderly, we were reminded of the merchants' inns of old and felt a sense of security. I was able to stay cheaply at 3900 yen without meals. The room was simple and clean, so it was more than worth the price. If you dare to complain, is there a curfew? I was fine, but if you drink late at night, please check in advance.
