This nice little hotel is located in a park so know that you cam drove there to unload your luggage but you need to park the car outside the park and there is no dhopping or else, just nature. Walking back up is a nice walk an rewards you with a stunning view over the city and the sea. We had preordered dinner and it was fabulous! If you are looking for a lively place in the city this is not your destination...
The hotel is quite difficult to find, requiring a drive, and it's very hard to locate, so please plan ahead! However, if you want a sea view, please book a sea view room; both the sea and city views are stunning!

Its an old functional hotel that brought me back to the 80s. You can use the onsen located at reception level or walk across to the sister hotel for the onsen at level 11. Do remb to bring your towel from your room to the sister hotel onsen as they don't provide any but it does come with amenities inside. Also at the sister hotel, that is where u have your buffet breakfast and unlimited self service...
An Ok hotel but could be difficult for a big group checking in here especially when you are located at the extension branch because you need to go to another building with a very steep ramp though it also has stairs. Rooms in 01 series are huge while 02 is smaller. The staff at the breakfast and dinner restaurant are very kind and helpful. They have 2 onsen one at the main building and another one...
We reserved a room with meals set. The dinner served was so-so and it’s quite a surprise there’s a yakiniku dish available. However, the restaurant atmosphere isn’t decent at all, hygiene so-so and very crowded. BBQ smell everywhere. The Onsen in this particular resort was poorly decorated. You can also go to the partner hotel which serves a better Onsen. Both Onsen close early at 11pm. Be aware of...
I stayed here while visiting customers for business in the area. It is near the hot springs which is nice but was not really what I’d call a comfortable hotel room. I understand it is more of a traditional hotel near the hot springs and the focus must be the hot springs. It was not my cup of tea to go to the hot springs so I did not go there. The bed was pretty hard and the pillows were not very comfortable...
Onsen is tattoo friendly at late hours. Dinner was amazing with fish and tempura. Breakfast was also amazing. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Good price for the location and food, wifi only in the lobby and dinner/breakfast room. in house indoor onsen. cheap and safe parking. minutes away from the shopping street and convenient stores。。。

Because it was a last-minute trip, location was my top priority. It's right next to Dogo Onsen, making it a great location for strolling through the shopping district at night. We stayed in a tatami room for four, and aside from the initially unpleasant tatami smell, everything was fine. The large windows provided a beautiful view. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and I was very satisfied...
The lobby is very nice, but the regular rooms are old, the breakfast and dinner buffet is clean and varied, but there is nothing to eat, the hotel's private parking lot is 880 yen, but if you go a little further into the alley, there are private parking lots for 600 yen and 400 yen.
The open-air bath on the rooftop has a great view and feels great. The building is old but clean.
It is right behind the main building of Dogo Onsen, and it is close to the station and has easy access to everything. In particular, there are Korean staff members who are very kind and solve any questions or problems, which made me feel at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hot spring is small but clean, and the open-air bath is on the rooftop, so you can enjoy the hot spring while...
Dogo Onsen Chaharu is a hot spring hotel that is full of modern style yet retains Japanese style. It is not far from Dogo Onsen Main Building and has convenient transportation. The rooms are stylishly designed with minimalist style, spacious and well-equipped. Some rooms also offer beautiful views, allowing you to relax. This is a famous onsen resort hotel. The room was spacious, and it came with a terrace and a private bath. The food was delicious too.
Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The large public bath was practically empty, perhaps due to the time of day, allowing me to fully enjoy the hot springs and have a wonderful time.
We stayed here during the New Year's holiday, but the elevator was cold, and we had to go outside to use the laundry facilities in the basement. The entire building was just so cold. The dining room on the first floor was small, and we had to be considerate of the people sitting next to and behind us, which was disappointing. This room was also cold. We stayed as a family, but the room was small; it...
The front desk was completely uncommunicative, making the experience very disappointing. Furthermore, the wooden facilities were moldy. It was a shame that the room didn't offer a true onsen experience. I had come here specifically to enjoy the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and the food was luxurious and excellent, but the cleaning wasn't thorough. The air conditioning in the room hit the bed directly and it was cold. The hotel photos seem to be quite old. This may be due to Livemax's management policy, but the indoor bath was blackened and I didn't feel like taking a bath. I had high expectations, so I was disappointed.
The food is good, but the hotel staff don't speak English very well. They will try their best to meet the needs of guests. There is a table tennis room, but parking spaces are limited, so you may have to park on the street.

Friendly service, excellent breakfast, free parking, pillows to choose from according to individual body type, self-service beach in front of the elevator, and good surroundings. Will come again.
Usual chain of hotel, breakfast could have been much better than current style.
The hotel opened last year and is about 2 kilometers away. There is a restaurant next to the supermarket.

The hotel service is very good. The front desk is very friendly and there is free breakfast. The only downside is that the equipment is a bit old.
It was conveniently located near the station. The room was a twin, so it was spacious and nice. The hotel is old, but it's fine if you just want to sleep! It's also nice that breakfast is included (I didn't eat it, so I don't know how it tastes).
Well located, great service. All amenities available at the reception.
This is a place I've stayed at more than five times. Before I first stayed, there were almost no Korean reviews. And reading Japanese reviews, many said the staff were unfriendly and unsatisfactory. I hesitated, but the staff were friendly, and the price and location were great. After my first visit, I was satisfied, so I've already stayed five times. The pros are: The location is great. It's...
I had to go to Takamatsu on a business trip, and chose this hotel because it was cheap and in the area. It even included breakfast. The room wasn't exactly the cleanest, but since I was only there to sleep, it was fine. The breakfast had a decent selection of items, which was nice. The single room is a bit small, the lighting is not enough, the windows are frosted, and you can't see the scenery outside. It's okay for one night, but it would be a bit depressing to stay for more than a few nights. The location is not close to Tokushima Station. You have to take a bus for four stops to get there. There are no buses leaving Tokushima Station after 9pm, so you have to go to bed early...
The staff is polite and provides help with receiving packages. There is a free drink bar and paid parking space. Staff is friendly. With drink served
All the staff were polite and kind. The place was clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious, especially the freshly made French toast and the raw noodle service. I'd like to use it again.
Quiet location, good room environment, free hot and cold drinks But the reception is on the first floor, and it will be very hard to carry your luggage. But the elevator on the floor can go directly to the ground
The room is not big, but it is clean. It's nice to have self-service drinks, and there's also a water dispenser outside the room so guests don't have to boil water themselves. Worth staying again🥰
Best part about this place: the very diverse, tasty breakfast. The worst part: tiny double beds. The location is fine being close to a small train station.

Near a train station which was very convenient also the onsen was very nice with an outdoor open air onsen. The bed however was very hard a long with the pillows I didn’t sleep very well. Breakfast was good too!
The public bath was very clean, And the staff were super accommodating and helpful.
It's so remote that there are no meals in the restaurant! It takes one stop to get restaurants and supermarkets recently! disappointed!
I stayed here last time and it was a great experience, so I decided to stay here again! The room was spacious and comfortable. There were several types of shampoo and treatment available at the front desk, so I was able to choose freely!
Great stay, a very functional and rather old-styled hotel But I can tell the staff here have made the most of it! The staffs at the front desk are very helpful in helping us to find the post office, despite language barriers☺️🤍
The building is very clean, is it still new? It's a facility like a hotel and sports center, and I'm sorry to say that the size and appearance are out of place in this rural area. I visited this place as a lunch spot for the Shikoku Pilgrimage, and although the location was certainly good, it was just a large dining room with tables lined up at the back of the buffet venue. I really enjoyed experiencing the Japanese hospitality culture. Both the open-air bath (rotenburo) and the meals were delicious. This hotel's location and service are truly impeccable. Aside from the fact that it's a bit of a climb to the shopping street below, everything else is incredibly convenient. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station. There are many sightseeing spots around the hotel, including cruise ships and ropeways. Great location very near the Dogo onsen and shopping street
Very friendly hostess, normal rooms. Of the small difficulties - capricious shower, did not understand how the hot water works.
The entrance smells unbearable. I think they should do something about it. It was also quite inconvenient that there was no elevator. The washer-dryer took a really long time. I stayed in a Japanese-style room, but I went to soak in the hot springs, so not having a bath in the room didn't bother me.
This is a great value accommodation in Dogo Onsen with easy access. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, and the property is located right next to shrines and temples, making it a great place to explore.

The reception staff were very pleasant. The room cleaning was also meticulous and good. On the other hand, when it came to the food at the breakfast buffet, only the plates were replenished when they ran out, and there seemed to be a shortage of glasses, so the missing dishes remained empty. The hotel was easily accessible to Dogo Onsen, and the food was of very high quality and delicious. The souvenir corner was also well stocked. Even after checking out, they kept our suitcases for us, so we were able to explore the surrounding area without any problems.
The Western-style room was a bit like a business hotel. The location is good. The front desk was good. The woman at the convenience store at night was the worst. It's a retro Showa era-style accommodation. It's an old space, but it's well-maintained, clean, and pleasant. It was really nice that there was a large bath and sauna. And the fireworks were right in front, so it was great.
Standard Japanese capsule hotel with spa/sauna included although one feels as though one has stepped into a time warp back to the 1990s. The capsule room should be cooler than the rest of the building on my opinion but it is warmer. An upper capsule seems to be even warmer yet and there isn’t a fan in the capsule itself that can be used for cooling.

The traditional Japanese-style rooms offer excellent value for money. On the riverside, you can see lots of small crabs along the river at high tide. The river view somewhat sacrifices accessibility. But the Front Desk helped me to find a hotel with availability by calling several of them in Japanese. When they could not find one for me, to extend their help...
I visited this hotel as a place to stay while traveling. Apart from the location, it was honestly the worst... First of all, it was hard to find the parking lot. Even if I asked my companion where it was, they didn't even give me any directions. They just said, "It's on the west side." Don't they usually guide me to some extent? Even if I managed to park, I couldn't get my car out once I parked...
The queen size bed was very good. It was within walking distance to Hirome Market and Sunday Market. There is a 7-Eleven right in front of the hotel, which is convenient. Don't expect too much from the bath.
This hotel is in a great location, especially to the train station and shops. The concierge gave a professional and friendly welcome. The room I had (on the 4th floor, corner overlooking the street) was very appointed and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, making for a nice sleep and restful stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend if you're visiting Kochi city.
The check in staff was able to give details of hotel in English. Room was clean (quad room, large, mix of twin bed plus futons). Dinner and breakfast were kaiseki style and was tasty and adequate. Indoor public bath was not large but it had nice amenities. About 1 km walk to Hirome Market. Lots of eateries nearby.
