Would be helpful if front service staff are knowledgeable in local information, ie places of interest and local restaurants.

2 things - (1) should have fly screen, to avoid mosquito. Room can be quite warm even in late November.
(2) Stayed in different rooms on different week. Both times, the bar fridge isn’t cold. Had Luke warm drinks, not good!

The hotel has an impressive name, but the actual quality of services does not live up to expectations. There are other hotels in Shymkent that offer better service and more reasonable prices. The location of the hotel is also not very convenient.
As for catering, the breakfast included in the room rate was quite good, but the prices for lunch and dinner were clearly overpriced.
The most unpleasant experience occurred during check-out. We were supposed to pay for our meals upon departure, but we were “surprised” to receive bills that included items we had not ordered. The clarification process took about half an hour, and since we were running late for our flight, we asked the staff to send the corrected invoices to our accounting department.
Overall, the hotel left a mixed impression: despite its grand name, the quality of service and organization still need improvement.

Excellent stay — clean, cosy & delicious cookies!
I had a wonderful experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton. From the moment I checked in, everything felt well-organized and welcoming. The hotel is spotlessly clean — not just in the rooms but also in hallways, elevators and common areas. The overall atmosphere is very cosy and comfortable, with thoughtful details that make you feel at home.
The staff were polite, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and of course I have to mention the famous DoubleTree cookies — warm, fresh and honestly the best I’ve tried in any hotel chain. A small touch, but it sets the tone right away.
The room itself was quiet, well-designed and had a very comfortable bed. Everything worked perfectly — great water pressure, good lighting, fast Wi-Fi and quality toiletries. Soundproofing was also excellent, which made it easy to rest.
Breakfast had a good selection and was constantly refreshed. I also appreciated the calm atmosphere in the dining area — no rush and no noise.
Overall, a great balance of comfort, cleanliness and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a worry-free and pleasant hotel experience.

Upon Arrival at 4:00 pm , room was not ready and we have to wait for long time to getting room ready, then they said breakfast not included, when i show them that my breakfast included, I show them voucher confirmation that breakfast is included but helpless, Front office manager Misbehaving to us saying to us breakfast not included.
