3 stars because:
1) reception tried to charge us more than supposed to ( we booked directly on hotel's website in Tenge and exactly how we were supposed to pay)
2) we booked 2 apartments with the request to book it near each other or at least on the same floor. Upon checking-in, the manager claimed there was no such request. We had to negotiate everything again.
3) There were no pots/pans in the apartments. After requesting it, we got one burned-out pan, which was impossible to use.
4) The water filter did not work.
5) AC in one of the apartments did not work.
6) the quality of beds- its just bad. Honestly, very uncomfortable to sleep on.
As for sofas: in one apartments it was folding, its basically only for sitting on It.
So she sold our rooms with ignoring booking.com rules
