Amazing hotel, very attentive staff, breakfast buffet has a variety foods and lovely coffee even with alternative milks, 1 minute to the beach. For the price very acceptable. Nice rooms, everything as expected. Breakfast very good, location excellent. Only the lady at the reception might need a little bit of customer relation training. A little smile and a little bit of a friendly converstion sometimes gives customers a better feeling ;-) But that was more than compensated by the super friendly lady from the breakfast!

Mixed reviews Public area were fabulous but the room was tired and in need of a facelift. The receptionist on duty when we arrived was excellent - friendly and informative. That was not the case in the morning when we asked for a taxi to the airport - offhand and unhelpful.

UPA is an amazing place to relax. It has great facilities, food is tasty, rooms are super clean, however, it lacks a little bit of sound proofing, because you can hear neighbours with crying babies fairly well. This is the third year in a row that my husband and I have visited UPA. And it hasn't disappointed yet! Very cosy atmosphere, the spacious rooms. Nice small hotel not far from the center. There is a small pool with a sauna. The staff mostly speaks English and Russian, apart from Lithuanian, except for the bartender lady. The restaurant offers a buffet-type dinners, where the food is nice. The breakfast was simple, but with enough variety of food.

It's in the heart of the old city, with a great location. The rooms are divided into an old building and a new building, and you have to walk through the second-floor corridor to the elevator in the new building. I stayed in the new building, and the hotel said the lobby was renovated this year (2025), and the rooms have also been renovated in recent years. It's very new!

They don't return items left in a room. I checked out and realised I left an important item to me in the room. (I was gifted that item in the room, so it didn't leave the room at all) I came back later on the same day and they said it's not found.
