Hotels on first line in Malta Island

Pool area on the roof was nice, but the bar there is always closed. Lots of noise, in common with everywhere else in Paceville. During the day it is from construction work, and at night from the partying youths outside

A nice modern hotel - close to the marina and an lovely rooftop pool and lounging area. Central to many restaurants, shopping, coastline.

Nice location but construction on road so no vehicle access at the moment.

It was very pretty and safe! The pool was very nice and not too busy, we did go in November. It was walking distance to the city and all the clubs!

Cafeteria is good. Pool good. Family friendly good. There is no silence hour, nor a security guard to calm down the drunks. Need to push them to clean. No privet parking , parking at neighbors recommended.

The kitchen isn’t fully equipped and a lot of times the stuff you need is in kitchens in other apartments. The locks are kind of difficult to manage, especially the bathroom locks. They often lock when you shut the door

Furthermore there are the bugs. There are some in the bathroom, even cockroaches. However the staff is very nice. If you need anything they usually get you that stuff. The reception is open 24/7 and even has bug spray

We absolutely LOVED our 4 night stay at Hotel Juliani. The hotel itself; our beautiful suite - with the amazing view; the bar and restaurants, and the service provided by the staff all deserve Five Stars

Our room was on the 4th floor, very spacious and with a big balcony facing Spinola Bay. Bathroom was also spacious with a beautiful walk in shower. We had our towels changed twice in a week, that was nice

Buses are frequent and there is a stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and there was plenty of choices. We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Juliani and we highly recommend it

The view from the balcony was stunning. It is a busy area but once we closed the window we couldn't hear a thing and slept always very well. There is plenty of restaurants around

There are many restaurants nearby, and the quality of the dry food is also high, but basically the same dishes are served every day, which can get boring

Alexis was a fantastic host and made our visit so special, with restaurant recommendations, must see sights and best ways to see the island. It was clean, felt very spa-like with a pool and fabulous underground bar

3 Euros for the short boat ride to Valletta, very easy and never waited more than 5 minutes. A wonderful place for a getaway. I cannot wait to come back - Thank you Alexis and team for making our trip so special

I love that he sat with a map and highlighted things he'd recommend and must see sights. He also was able to offer boat trips, restaurant recommendations (as well as his own food) and best way to see the island

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, a beautiful peaceful boutique with a fabulous underground bar. It was 5 minutes to get to Birgu for bars and the very short boat ride to Valletta

Easy to get around, just a short taxi (4 Euros) to get into Birgu which is a lovely place to wander around and see some history, such as Fort Angelo and the Inquisitors Palace

if i come back to malta i will come back here, i stayed at the novotel and this one which is 3 minutes away from each other and honestly id say i preferred this one , its much smaller but i prefer it (probably because there’s a full length mirror here) , i don’t know what they use to clean but i love it because the fresh smell stays for days

There's teapot in room, two cups, two glasses. Small swimming pool is on the roof. However you get free access to Aqualuna swimming pool, which is just across the street

Hotel situated just some 50 meters away from waterfront road. You can go with bus everywhere in Malta. Facilities in hotel are new or after renovation. Shower with rain head, water very warm

Additionally, the room lacked some basic amenities—there were fewer working charging outlets, and essentials like slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste weren’t provided

compared to novotel the aesthetics aren’t as good but i still enjoyed my stay regardless sorry the picture of the room is dark and it’s messy lol

Overall, the hotel is quite good with a convenient location and friendly staff who made the stay pleasant. However, there were a few drawbacks

In general good stay in Rest aparthotel. Rooms are big, for a minus unfortunately fo us the full digital system turned out to be very annoying

I had a wonderful stay at For Rest Apartment! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed

Apartment is centrally located and equipped with all the kitchen utensils. We used studio apartment. Beach is really close by and with lots of food options.

If you have any questions you can simply ask the staff who are so friendly and go above and beyond even from the start when they gave us an upgrade ! The gentleman at the front desk is the kindest , informative and friendly staff I have encountered

Breakfast was awesome so much food and variety -i had warm ricotta parcels, warm spinach parcels, bread rolls, butter, mixed fruit salad, banana, cake, biscuits, orange juice, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs with onion and tomato, veg stew

Staff and location were excellent. Rana and Marietta at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the stocked minibar that is complimentary when you arrive is a nice way to start.

The hotel is located in the heart of Valletta, within a 5-minute walk of most attractions. The front desk staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service

I have been bitten by mosquito and bugs in most malta hotels no matter the price so I usually buy a fly room spray wherever I stay. If you want luxury then book somewhere else for more money to avoid disappointment

It is very quiet considering it is in the middle of town. There is always hot water, comfortable beds,clean towels every 2 days and even Premier league football on the TV. It's as clean as most malta accommodation

If you want a quiet, basic, great value room,well equipped for cooking meals , to stay in the heart of Sliema whilst exploring Malta then this is one I always return to. Fantastic Thai restaurant below

For the price paid this aparthotel offers fantastic value for visitors who want a basic but well equipped, self-catering room in the best location for buses,ferries, shops,trips,walking and swimming

Wonderful rooms in baroque style that absolutely covers the needs of a family. The owners are very kind and helpful even if you check in earlier than expected

The guest house is cozy, clean, and well-located, close to everything but still quiet enough to rest. You can really feel the personal touch and care she puts into everything

The only small thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi signal on the first floor, but everything else was simply great

A good budget option hotel. The hotel has an arrangement with a nearby restaurant for breakfast Full English excellent. My Seaview room had a wonderful view and balcony. Bus stop and ferry close to hotel.

Hotel was great, clean and check in was easy. Included towels and shower gel, but no toothpaste. Kitchen was available for everyone to use but the hob was not working

Facing the sea, the view is amazing. The room is clean and the bedding is clean. The only downside is that there are always all kinds of noises in the middle of the night. Sometimes it is very loud and wakes people up

We had sea view room that in my view is a must if you stay there. In summary, if you look for simple, economy hotel in beautiful location with nice people around - that’s the place. Would I come back here? Definitely

The location cannot be better - sea, bus stop just in front of the hotel, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. The sea view from the room terrace- top. The rooms are cleaned everyday

The location is very convenient. Two minutes to bus stop and eat to go to tourist attractions. The room is spacious and clean. The room made up daily is also very tidy. The breakfast has a lot of choices

My visit to the guesthouse met my expectations. The rooms are new and renovated, clean, and well-equipped: electric kettle, coffee maker, iron, and hairdryer. Daily room cleaning is a plus

I could only make one recommendation, which would be to give an option of hanging up towels so they are not washed and replaced daily, as it’s better for saving water and the environment

I've stayed in beautiful hotels all round the world but this one would rate as perfect as it can get. Admittedly no bar or restaurant but as we are surrounded by them ,it's no problem

A block to catch a bus, short walk to Sliema/Valletta ferry. Lots of restaurants a short walk away. Large grocery store a couple of blocks away. Would definitely stay there again

I really like this hotel. It includes breakfast, which is very rich. The room is located on the first floor, which is a little noisy. But the room is large, the shower is comfortable, and it is very clean.

I stayed at the Stonehouse in 2023 for a 9 day yoga retreat and had such an epic fun adventure kayaking in caves, catamaran n swimming Crystal n Blue Lagoon, experiencing and exploring gorgeous sunsets at Dingli cliffs and Dwari, which have moved a few to tears, discovering stunning views from a cave overlooking Ramla Bay just to name a few, I returned again in 2024 for an 11 day yoga retreat! Cathy is very knowledgeable in the history of Malta and is enthusiastic to tell you about it. She is an excellent and fun tour guide. She makes your trip a memorable one and shows you the many hidden gems

It was built on lands that were owned by the Knights of Malta. Continental breakfast is included and they provide a wonderful assortment of items for a healthy breakfast to start your day

Use it as your base to explore beautiful Malta, Comino and Gozo. It is walking distance to restaurants, bars and a short Bolt drive away to Valetta and surroundings sights

Convenient location and great price. Could use some maintenance, specially the bunks. The bar upstairs is a good place to meet people

It was a little disappointing there wasn't a hairdryer, but the place was clearly well-cleaned. Every time I walked past the toilets and showers, I could smell disinfectant, which was reassuring

They let me store my luggage for free even after I checked out, which was a huge plus. The bed areas felt very private thanks to the curtains, almost like having my own room

The common area is a bar, but you can't sit there before 9:30 AM because they're cleaning. If you cook breakfast in the morning, there's nowhere to sit

Fair, basic, unassuming hostel. Recommended for short stays, 1-2 days max. I stayed for 5 and it started feeling a bit cramped, especially for the bathrooms. These are shared, and the ladies clean them around 8am

The room was exactly as I had hoped for, except for the building is not very isolated, so I recommend bringing ear plugs if you have sensitive ears and/or need to sleep well.

The boat is as well parked at the best location you can imagine at the island, with a view to stunning Valetta and a few minutes away from the bus and ferry stops, so it's easy to reach any place in Malta very fast and convenient

Charles and Daria are wonderful hosts, very attentiv. You won't have the space and comfort of a 5 stars hotel but you'll get the incredible feeling of being out of time and space, you'll land on a small piece of paradise

One must be clear to you if you want to book this accommodation, it is a real fishing boat which has been converted in a living boat. It is small and narrow BUT BEAUTIFUL

I spent every morning relaxing on the boat, enjoying sun on its rooftop and later exploring Malta's attractions. The best combination for the week-long adventure!

Despite being very hot on shore, the boat deck, lounge area and cabins were cool. Charles runs a small bar on the boat where you can buy beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks

There are different guests staying there - some people stay there for long time and they feel very entitled luckily the boy working at the reception takes his job seriously and he spoke with guys who’d organize parties while night long in the common area
