Playa Esperanza Hotel Tulum in Tulum

It was glamping at its best! I felt like I was on Gilligan’s Island, or in an episode of the Flintstones!

A friend of mine and I each got a room here. The rooms were so cool and the beach access is world class. The service is a little short of 2-3 star given that my shower water was not hot, but I sort of didn’t care until the last day when I just wanted a hot shower. The beach is gorgeous, the people working there are super sweet. There was a very nice woman who helped us get a super last min cab out of town and she was super helpful at the desk when our booked shuttle no showed. We took the bus instead which was great and only $20 to Cancun!! We knew about the bus because we may have taken it down but booked a private shuttle instead. The hotel is right next to several beach clubs and inside the park is great you can get the shuttles to the ruins which were so cool. The park offers a lot but you do have to pay to be there daily and strict guards treat it like you are doing something wrong to be there. It’s not very hospitable to have all your stuff searched to find nothing. And they are not nice or welcome you. Quite the opposite. That said-People at the resort were efficient and they work hard. I loved the little pool and the towels. The cabanas on the beach. Super amazing. Gorgeous. I liked a lot of the little beach resorts at the park tho. It’s a very beautiful and special beach area.

This experience was great !! I got more than what I bargain for , very attentive staff that are willing to serve you and guide you in the right direction .Room was clean and maintained everyday of my stay , beach front did not disappointed.

Lovely bungalows right on the beautiful white sand beach. I received an upgrade from a partial sea view room to a full sea view suite on arrival, which was a nice surprise!

Bungalows were clean, facilities were good, staff were helpful and friendly. All in all a relaxing few days!

Loved it , very close to the ruins, very calm , and all the staff very nice , can't wait to go back!!!!

This is the closet you can get to paradise. Fancy subtil rustic designer cananas by the sea. No other noise than waves, ocean wind and the perfect clean turquoise clear water.The staff give an excellent vibe to this five star eco resort. A divine place to be.

Mario was the most helpful receptionist, all of the staff here had really good energy and were really positive and helpful!!!
