Staffs there were so nice, very good location to hang out in downtown Tulum! Good cocktails and breakfast, very recommend!

Really wonderful place! The rooftop pool area is really nice and the food and drinks they serve there are top-tier. Staff was super friendly and the place feels very professionally run (super clean, comfortable bed, etc). Wouldn't look anywhere else on a second trip here.

Fab central location among street art, excellent WiFi, superb aircon and showers, and enchanted rooftop pool with restaurant. One would be fortunate to get a room here. Thank  you to Ricardo, Evelyn, Annie, and all the amazing staff members

I cannot say enough about the staff at Layla! Ricardo and his team make you feel so special and catered to. Everything we ordered on the menu was absolutely delicious and drinks are amazing! The only thing that could make this hotel better is if it were on the beach. But! The sister hotel that is on the beach is available to visit and they make you feel like royalty as well!

The staff are fantastic and location is good
Hotel a bit older than real pictures and way smaller than real pics.
In general do not stay in center more than one day it’s very dirty and very boring and compared to prices the beach slightly higher, the center is not tulum, if you want to experience real tulum go to the beach side don’t waste time in the center. I read a lot of reviews saying stay in both when I reached the center I regret coming tulum when I went to the beach side I saw the vibe and class and clean and nice food the music the safety I regret staying in the center even a single day.

The staff is superb, friendly, and welcoming. They take great care of all their guests.
The hotel itself is very unique, well-maintained, and beautiful. It's not far from restaurants and shops. There are several ways to get to the beach: taxi, bicycle, or scooter (there are many rental agencies near the hotel).
The rooftop is peaceful with its sunny pool, and the bar staff is very polite and attentive.
The rooms are very clean with a beautiful bathroom and two pool balls. The bed is suspended, but you can request that it be fixed for those who are bothered by it.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to travelers visiting Tulum.

Great location for walking distance to everywhere in Tulum with friendly staff

It was unfortunate that we had some trouble with the reservation, but the service they provided made up for it.
When we were unable to make a reservation for one day, they upgraded us and made a reservation at another hotel in the chain.
When there was a problem with our rental bike, they arranged for a new bike from another place.
And Layla's hotel was wonderful, especially the view from the rooftop pool.
If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that the room had a bit of a moldy smell, probably because it was by the pool.
It didn't bother me after staying in the room for a while.
The other facilities were great, and I would recommend this hotel if you're staying in the downtown Tulum area.
