Spent 2 weeks at Hotelito Azul and I couldn't ask for anything else! The best days. The staff is amazing, they make you feel at home and warm. They even cooked some meals for me. Their organic food is amazing! Great place and can't wait to go back ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotelito Azul for 4 nights and had the BEST time. Before we even got to Tulum, we connected with Rafael, the concierge. He answered all the millions of questions I had before arriving, helped coordinate airport pickup/dropoff, and scheduled COVID testing before we left. During our stay, he also helped with dinner reservations and coordinated everything we wanted to do. At the front desk, we met Samantha and Christopher, who helped with tours, tequila tastings, and always made sure we had what we needed. The hotel alone is beautiful, and the service is so fast. The rooms are so nice, and the shower pressure is AMAZING. We woke up every morning with coffee right outside our bedroom (which I took to the beach and drank), and the hotel's cocktails are so unique that you can drink them on the beach or in the rooftop pool. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel - my girlfriend and I definitely plan to return to Hotelito Azul!

The hotel’s location is beachfront, which is perfect for travelers. The room is well-ventilated. The only problem is the parking logistics.

The entrance in the hotel is the most strange entrance that I ever seen. They provide a QR code that suposed to unlock the door and an acces turnistle. This doesn’t work at all.

Pros - Beautiful property with rooms that look like treehouses, right on beautiful sandy beach with private area with sun loungers. Rooms were clean and spacious, good WiFi and free offsite parking. Execellent property in terms of looks.

Cons - While the looks were great, we were not satisfied with the stay. Although the staff was lovely, there was a severe shortage of them, all around the property. Not sure if it was because staff was on Christmas holidays or it is usually like that.
Reception - There was only 1 person at a time, to do check-ins, property tours, resolve existing guest problems, etc. which means there was always a long wait. Also, they were only available from 8am to 6pm (or 8pm).
Cleaning - Somedays cleaning didn't happen until 5pm despite asking for it at 11am and multiple reminders. Reason given - shortage of staff and priority given to checked out rooms.
Rooftop - The property has a beautiful rooftop with a hot tub and swimming pool. But again, UNSTAFFED at all times! We didn't know how to switch on the hot tub until another tourist helped us. They could easily put a staff there to sell drinks and food there and to help people but no!
Restaurants - There are two restaurants on site. While we liked the drinks and food at Olivia (reception area), most days it opened later than the advertised 8am.
Tea/Coffee - No tea/coffee making facilites either in the room or any common area! NO STAFF OR EVEN SECURITY after 10 pm. You are on your own

Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, hotel is very unique right on the beach, breakfast and juices are wonderful. Check in process needs improvement.

Our room was great, but some amenities could be improved upon like having a coffee maker, clothing iron, and blow dryer inside the room. The staff was great, however having more personnel on site would make the manager’s job a lot more simpler.
The hotel restaurant was also overpriced for the quality of food received.

Hotel is location is perfect, with beech front access, with plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. Room was good with a very cold plunge pool & separate seating area to relax. Unfortunately due to shortage of staff, bars located by pools were not open, therefore no ability to get drinks or food there which was a bit disappointing. The hotel is looking a bit tired & could do with some areas being upgraded to bring it back to a high standard.

The staff was attentive. I truly felt like I was catered to and all of their amenities were fantastic. Their pictures did not do the reality justice. Fantastic food with both restaurants. We are already planning our return.

Overall I was very disappointed with my stay here. The coffee service that was advertised didn’t show up unless you complained. The facilities on the beach and rooftop were unkept and messy. Most chairs were ripped and falling apart and the rooftop was upside down. There were broken string lights lying around and the pools were filled with debris. I booked with the understanding that breakfast was included but was told that it was a separate option you had to pay extra for which was not advertised. Both the restaurants were very overpriced.

Phenomenal accommodations. The most delicious breakfast food and authentic Italian pastas with gluten free options! The service is top notch and the view is breathtaking! My favorite place in Tulum hands down!

One of the most charming place. So well done. As soon as you take your first step. Your in the world. Just fabulous. And the food was fresh and prefect. The Shop was perfection. A real
View of Tulum. Great place. And most stop.

Beautiful restaurant with unique decor compared to others in the area. We ordered drinks at the bar and enjoyed them outside on the beach. The beach chairs, incredibly bright stars, and delicious drinks make for a great experience. Will be back to try more of the food as I only had a couple of bites here and there and the pasta was a little overcooked for my taste.

Appreciated the great vibes of this place. The decor created an awesome atmosphere. The wait staff was polite and when it started raining they were very helpful to keep us dry.

The food was above average. Pasta in Tulum is not expected and it was good. I️ had the lobster special which was ~$40. The pasta was really good, but the lobster was average.

Without a doubt would come back.

nice food. whach out for the currency rates

Good pizza on a cracker-thin crust (making it feel more like a starter than a meal). Prices for the pizza are reasonable (especially for Tulum beach) but the cocktails were outrageously priced almost as high as the pizza. Didn't even bother to get one so can't attest to their quality. The location on the noisy road right in front of a topé pretty much kills the experience.

Great pizza! Right out of a wood burning oven, thin and crispy! Highly recommend this place. Service was great too.

Pizza was exceptional and probably the best we had in tulum. Pasta was good as well. Went twice in five days.

Best Guacomole, and sangria I had. Octopus was good too.

Nice place to enjoy the evening with view of the sea, but the menu is just a blackboard around the corner and it does not include any prices. Service average and a bit pushy with making you order before you know the price. The Seafood plate for 2 people (62 USD) was nice, a simple breakfast was included (regularly 285 pesos)

The best food we found in Tulum. Everything is homemade. Fantastic staff and people and probably the nicest part of the beach.
