Hotel Adria in Budva

Rooms are nice spacious. Sadly breakfast was terrible staff are polite at reception. We ask to change rooms as it was very nosy. Lady at reception helped us and changed our room. The hotel manager was not happy that she helped us as when she handed over the new key he looked annoyed with her and said something to her his face looked angry. Room when we arrived had one coffee sache and tea. We asked for more as we are two people staying in one room they said we don't give out tea and coffee. This is the first time I have been to a hotel that doesn't provide tea and coffee in rooms. Overall hotel rooms are nice but I won't be returning

Inside, the hotel is clean and well maintained. At the time of our visit it had major building work in the street surrounding it on 3 sides, which we were not told about. During shopping hours, the hotel can be accessed via the shopping centre located beneath. After 9pm, the street entrance must be used and guests have to scramble across the dangerous rubble, steel rods and general building materials to reach the entrance. . It is dangerous and we were told by a taxi driver that the work will be finished in about 4 weeks. If you turn up in a wheelchair you will not be able to get in after 9pm unless someone can carry you and the wheelchair at least 30 yards across rubble. No effort has been made by the hotel to provide even a few boards at the entrance to step across. Heavy vehicles and equipment started up at 7-30am every day. Buffet breakfast available between 07-30 and 10am. Large trays of cooked eggs, sausages, potatoes etc set out at 7-30 and much of it was not replaced or replenished before close at 10am. Pastries, yogurts, fruit all simply ran out. Maybe we were just unlucky with the road and building works, but it still felt like ingrained bad management was not helping.
