Such a wonderful, beautiful, warm and welcoming experience staying here a couple of nights. The manager and staff were very respectful, helpful and professional. I felt very comfortable and safe. We stayed at their top floor room which gave us a great view of the rooftops of marrakech. The breakfast was also very tasty! P.s if you love music and literature there’s loads to keep you company inside. The location was also great, very peaceful and quiet at night and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the souks but with very close access to all your necessities!

My only concern and feedback was the shower pressure and temperature. It may be that we stayed in winter but it wasn’t possible to get the right temperature and at the warmer setting the pressure was way too low! I didn’t complain to them as I only stayed a couple of nights but it’s worth noting if you plan to stay longer and prefer a warm strong shower!

Amazing Riad, I would stay here over and over again, it's so comfortable. Marwane and Hakim really looked after us every single step of the way. When we got there Hakim explained in detail everything to watch out for and provided important information. We stayed a lengthy 16 nights and we do not regret staying here. We never got bored of the breakfast and will truly miss it. We had a basic room which was spacious and had space for us to put all our belongings, ac which is amazing in the summer and the pool days are unforgettable. I would recommend this place to anyone and we are so glad we picked it! It is so safe, even if the reviews say its down a scary ally way, Marrakech is one of the safest places I've ever been to, so even if the ally way seems scary, there is nothing to fear, we usually just provided people with a simple 'salam'. Remember you are in the heart of the Medina, so there is the possibility of meeting weirdos, but it's very rare. I can't wait to go back!

Riad Ben Youssef is truly a jewel in Marrakesh ! You could hardly find a better place for such a good price. The place offers a perfectly calm atmosphere in an authentically decorated riad with a pool (you should not underestimate how amazing this is in the hot afternoons of Marrakesh), a peaceful inner courtyard, a rooftop, library, and plenty of other common spaces to chill in. The rooms themselves are incredible, clean, beautiful wooden ceiling, a beautiful bathroom with green tiles, a very confortable bed - rare for riads. Our room had a direct access to the rooftop which is amazing for lighting and to reach the pool directly through the spiral metal ladder. The staff is composed by the kindest people - Hakim, Merwan, and the two kind ladies who I regret not catching the name of. Everyone is very available and helpful. We were lucky to meet the owner, Bernard, who is extremely hospitable and open to talk to, who really embraces the charm of Marrakesh into his property. The location is perfect - in a calm little street near the Medersa and Ben Youssef Mosque. Very central - near the souk. To sum up this Riad is providing the luxurious experience of peace in a big beautiful riad. We stayed in other riads in Marrakesh which were more expensive and nowhere near how good Ben Youssef was. Could not recommend it more !

Cut out from the medina. Easy access to jemaa lfnaa. Staff are wonderful and very informative. Very nice complimentary breakfasts.

Amazing Riad; in the middle of the Medina but very quiet and feels very secluded. My room was beautiful, had a comfy bed and well-equipped bathroom. Pool is also great to get relax a bit and get away from the busy city in the mid-day heat.

Amazing riad in the middle of Marrakech. Location was top notch, it was located close to many tourist attractions such as Madrassa, Secret Garden, souk and restaurants. The interior was beautiful. It came with amenities such as swimming pool, which was great to enjoy on a hot day. The service was also very warm. The host would welcome you with tea, and advise you on the best way to get around the city. The breakfast was also good. Overall, I felt very home here in the short time I stayed here. I highly recommend!

Very good location in the middle of the medina (old town) of Marrakesh. The host and his employee were extremely committed, showed us around the riad, pointed out places worth seeing in Marrakesh and told us about local customs. The interior is well worth seeing, but also a little dated (e.g. shower head loose). The nights were unfortunately a bit noisy (building site nearby? Or a dance hall?). We were able to enjoy the generous breakfast in the inner courtyard.

First time in a Riad We just spent four nights here Such a delightful, charming Riad very clean and fresh Great room, Great breakfast, good location Hakim the manager was so helpful and helped to guide us around even added an app to our phone, which we followed to all the attractions. From the outside you would never expect to see the decor when you first walk inside - an oasis in the Medina! Good bar and amazing setting however the food did not quite live up to the same expectation. Menu was standard Moroccan fare and some of the dishes were excellent (chicken and almond pastilla) but others just OK (tagine), still worth a visit if you are staying nearby

Charming, converted riad geared towards foreign tourists. The centerpiece is a colossal iron chandelier with lit candles. Reservations are preferred as with all restaurants in Marrakech. Try and get a table upstairs overlooking the bottom floor. Was a little warm when we dined there but we were put in a little room adjacent to the main dining room on the first floor.

I loved it. Kind of place James Bond meets foe/lover. Rather typical Moroccan menu so don't count on being spoilt for choice, but what a place to eat and drink. Shall definitely go again. Slow service which I like and plenty of privacy in certain booths. Rooftop amazing and friendly staff. We had to be "invited" when we went.

Touristy but worth it. You need to get there walking because it is in a part of the Medina inaccessible by car. The service was relatively quick and attentive. Very good food (prawn salad with lemon and cumin, and a beef tajine with peas and artichoke). Beautiful building.
