Al Fassia Aguedal in Marrakech

I took my team to the Riad for two nights to show them the amazing vibrance of the region. As it was their first experience of a riad they were taken aback as to how beautiful, relaxing and hospitable it was. We were also told by a long standing local friend that the restaurant was one of the best in Marrakesh and it certainly was. We look forward to staying again soon.

I can only give this hotel 5 stars on TripAdvisor but it deserves many more! Even though advertised as a four star, the service is five star plus. Every member of staff was friendly and could not do enough for us. The room was clean and beautiful and all facilities throughout the hotel were clean and well provisioned. The included breakfast was lovely, and the staff made an effort to remember our tea/coffee preferences etc each day. The attached restaurant was great. We were advised to book but never had a problem getting a reservation (it was always busy though!) The food was amazing, suitable for vegetarians, authentic Moroccan food and good selection of Moroccan wine. We also enjoyed the pool - a great place to relax, drink service and good lunch menu, the staff were very attentive and provided towels, and brought blankets and sunhats as the weather required. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful, gave us good local advice and were helpful in booking us a taxi, a restaurant, or treatment at the hotel hammam (a must!) The location is good - far enough from the centre for peace and quiet (although some planes fly over) and only a short taxi or hour walk to main city. Really near a shopping centre with cashpoint/pharmacy/amenities and some casual dining options. Also very sustainable - solar powered and the only place it seemed in all Marrakesh that used paper rather than plastic straws. Would recommend and would go back!

Location The hotel is conveniently situated and within 20 mins of both Airport and the heart of the city where popular attractions, restaurants, are within walking distance. This prime location made sightseeing and commuting exceptionally easy and stress-free. Check-In and Reception The check-in process was efficient and smooth. The reception staff were very welcoming and professional, offering assistance with luggage and providing valuable information about the local area. The lobby was clean, well-lit, and tastefully decorated, creating a positive first impression. Reception had in advance arranged for a personal guided tour of the city which proved to be fantastic. Highly recommend their well informed and very amusing guide. Abdu. Room Comfort and Cleanliness The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable with crisp linens, and the blackout shutters ensured a good night's sleep. Facilities such as a flat-screen TV, complimentary fruit basket, homemade biscuits and if requested kettle for your tea and coffee, and a mini-fridge added convenience. The bathroom was modern, with a powerful shower and high-quality toiletries. Facilities and Amenities The hotel offered a range of amenities, including a roof top terrace chill area with refreshments on request, beautiful infinity level heated swimming pool, Spa and Hammam and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The hammam was well-equipped and maintained with quality treatments, while the pool area provided a relaxing environment after a day of exploring the city and areas to sit and enjoy a drink or relaxed poolside lunch. Room service was prompt and efficient with delicious options for breakfast in a dedicated area. The on-site restaurant served an excellent varied Moroccan menu for dinner – (open to public too) and the sister restaurant of the highly acclaimed city restaurant of the same name as the hotel. Customer Service Staff members were consistently friendly and eager to help, from housekeeping to the concierge. Any requests, such as extra towels or local recommendations, were addressed promptly and with a smile. Their attention to detail and guest satisfaction was clearly a priority. Value for Money Considering the location, quality of service, and facilities, the hotel offered excellent value for money. Room rates were competitive compared to other hotels in the area, especially given the high standard of comfort and amenities provided. Overall Impression This hotel exceeded expectations in all areas, offering a comfortable and enjoyable stay near to the vibrant part of the city. Arrived on Friday afternoon after about 15 min transfer, and were welcomed by reception, did the checking in with a local mint tea. We were taken upstairs by Youssef to our room, had a spacious, traditional room, very traditional and comfortable , bed was large and very comfy, plenty save fit clothes etc, huge walk in shower, also had a fridge as well. We ate at the restaurant next to the hotel which has great reviews on here and we weren’t let down, great Moroccan food and service was fantastic as well from the team. The Riahd was clean, traditional and exactly what we were looking for, lovely swimming pool which is heated, never struggled for a sunbed. The breakfast is very traditional as well, again excellent service from the team, rooms were made up to a great standard from housekeeping. Was about 15 min taxi ride into the main area which is an experience, felt safe but be prepared to haggle even for food in the medina, they will show you a menu but take it quick, ask you what you want ( it was nice) but the people will try and overwhelm you and charge a lot for what you got, take time when doing this. Supermarket about 5 mins away from the Riahd where you can get all you need. I’d deffo stay here again, thanks for looking after us, especially Youssef

Just returned from a fabulous seven nights in Hotel Al Fassia. This is a very smart, cool, calm and relaxing Riad, a short taxi ride from the chaos of the center of town. Mira and her team were very welcoming and super helpful. Thanks again to Narjis, Zinab and Youssef, you were great. Hoping to return one day !

My recent trip was with my aunt, and we both wanted the same thing time to relax, enjoy nice food, walk and enjoy the weather. AL FASSIA and Maya's team provided consistent kindness, conversation and laughter. From the time of our early evening arrival, we were greeted warmly within a tranquil oasis and soft classical music in the background. If you're looking for sensory exploration, lovely open grounds, peaceful, quality food housed within an imperial yet lush green indoor/outdoor space - you need look no further. A beautiful place to retreat before heading out. Each member of the team are helpful showed "kindness from the heart"... I'd love to return inshallah.x

Uncharacteristically it poured with rain on our first day in Marrakech, if we had not been staying at such a lovely hotel we would have booked the next flight home! Staff welcomed us at the door with an umbrella and made us lovely fresh hot coffee to warm us up. Our room, overlooking the pool, was exceptionally nice with plenty of space, lovely decor and a very comfortable bed. Our welcome pack of pastries and fresh fruit and flowers was much appreciated and a small fridge (to keep my insulin in) was a bonus. The bathroom was great, massive shower with soft towels and plenty of toiletries and a hair dryer, two bathrobes with slippers if needed. We think one of the best things about our visit was the breakfasts, served by delightful and attentive staff and the yoghurt was the best ever. The food in the restaurant was amazing but for us the portion sizes were just too big and we never managed to finish a dish. All the staff in the restaurant and the hotel were lovely, welcoming and helpful and smiling all the time. The hotel decor was sumptuous, relaxing and beautiful. The pool was (I'm told) lovely and warm and lunch by it was just amazing. All in all staying here made our visit to Marrakech most enjoyable and we would certainly recommend it to anyone and if ever we visited Morocco again, we'd be straight there!
