Riad Joy is a jewel in the middle of the Medina in Fez. The inside is like a palace. The fully restored 18th century is a Wonderful blend of exquisite old world architecture and modern amenities. The entire inside decor has been painstakingly restored by one of the owners. The mission is to make you feel at home and boy did they. The owners are Hasan and Soumya - siblings but the entire server staff is like family. Hind and Karim at the front desk, Adil, Muhammad, Ibrahim, Najiya, Miriam, were outstanding at making ud feel at home. The rooms were gorgeous. The cuisine was marvelous. Breakfast was a treat everyday. If you are going to Fes you must stay in Riad Joy

Loved our stay here. Very accommodating to our whole family. Beautiful space, spacious rooms and they really think of everything as far as what your needs might be during your stay. It’s also in a peaceful alleyway off the Medina so you’re right in the mix in a few steps but can escape at night. Highly recommend

An oasis of calm in a bustling city, Riad Joya is a gem. And a perfect location. Noureddine has created a superb and sumptuous place to stay, with amazing hospitality from him and his team. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast really set us up for the day.

Perfect hospitality in the heart of the Medina. Would definitely recommend the airport transfer, which included a porter to wheel luggage through the car-free heart of the city. The Riad itself was a haven of calm, with attentive staff and a great roof terrace. Highly recommended.

The location is ideal—set in a quiet part of the Medina yet only about a five-minute walk from the main square. Le Jardin Garden is also close by, roughly a 6–8 minute walk in the opposite direction. The staff will happily guide you until you find your bearings. The rooms are spotless and thoughtfully serviced with fresh towels, bottled water, toiletries, fruit, and dates each day. The manager is exceptionally kind and helpful, and the staff are incredibly attentive. Breakfast was delicious and served on the roof top, nothing was too much trouble. It’s the perfect haven of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the souks and winding lanes. I would highly recommend it.

Good: The location is great. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the sun and the view of the mountains.
They offer good food with fair prices. WiFi is available and you can pay by card. We liked the music as well.
Not so good: you may have to wait to get a place to sit. The place is almost always full.

This place is great - the food and service are impeccable. This our second visit to Marrakech and our second visit to Cafe des Epices!
Everyone rushes up the stairs to sit on the roof terrace (which is nice) but you want to sit on the first floor with the large windows overlooking the mini square. It's nice and cool and you still get the view. PLUS the interior fit out is awesome

A nice restaurant & bar, with a nice decor! A bit on a pricier side for Marrakesh but not expensive as such. Especially nice lounge vibe on the terrace. Definitely recommend for drinks on the terrace, haven’t tried the food so can’t comment.

Spent a few evenings here whilst in Marrakech, very nice place. Food very nice, good service and a nice selection of drinks. Cocktails a bit hit or miss, but they are one of only a few places that serve alcohol around. Can be very busy, best to book if you want to be guaranteed a table. The roof terrace is very nice.

Awesome experience! Great food, good service, and reasonable prices. Try to eat on the roof if possible. It filled up before 7:30pm on a Wednesday which surprised me, but it was definitely worth squeezing in!

Rooftop bar is very relaxed with a good selection of drinks including Moroccan beers. The views aren't that great but the service is very good. Beautiful building and courtyard. Well worth visiting to relax in the evening and watch the sunset.

What a great vibe this place has! Three stories and each story has its own unique feel to it. I can’t speak of the food because I only had tea and wine, but this is most definitely one of my favorite places in Marrakech. Aside from the incredible decor, the music and service are phenomenal! If Anas is your server, be sure to strike up a conversation with him. He is very sweet and remembered who I was every time I came back which is always so nice in a foreign place. Oh, and did I mention 2 for 1 happy hour drinks at every hour?! Wine not? ;)

Nice trendy bar, serves alcohol (!) at a reasonable price (65dh for two 330ml bottles of beer on the "happy hour" - which is all the time. Can't be shared.) Staff are nice enough.

It would have been 5 stars if they didn't refuse to let us in because they don't serve Moroccans... Twice in different times. I only wanted to go there again because the first time was with a group of foreigners and not sure if they forgot about me or something but I really liked it there, 360 view, great atmosphere, nice drinks/prices, good service,... If you're not moroccan, Go!
