We had a great three night stay at the Leonardo city hotel. Great location near the museum area and inner Amsterdam canals, yet really quiet too. Breakfast was great value, good selection of hot and cold breakfast, pastries, fruit and fruit salad etc. The breakfast room was very well decorated and stylish. Cosy hotel but with tiny lift. Hotel was old but still clean. Quick walk to nearby attractions like Rijkmuseum. Hotel also offers bike rentals, and near another bike rental shop.

Distance to central station was great but the noises! Could hear people talking, toilets flushing, not ours! If you dont like chirch bells going off constantly this is not the hotel for you!

I had a fabulous time here. First time in Deventer and I couldn't choose a better hotel to stay! Our room was huge with a beautiful view, and most important super clean! Came here for the Tesla supercharger. Happened to be breakfast time at the hotel And even though we didn’t want to pay for the full breakfast at the hotel, the staff were very happy for us to still have usual coffee and pastries for normal charges. Very modern and nice hotel

Limited transport to the hotel

It’s a great hotel, very spacious rooms, nice interior design in the main entrance and areas, the whole vibe is luxurious and modern. The beds are comfortable, the personnel is friendly and professional, the food is really good. Then the area around is so beautiful, definitely go to park de Hoge Veluwe and take a bike, or go for a hike. Stunning!

I feel I overpaid for the room based on the following: Room was not clean. Sheets had dirt on them and the walls in washroom area were greasy. Shower was missing glass and it made a mess while showering. No breakfast was included even at this room price. The breakfast buffet was amazing! 10/10

Super dated room. Bathroom looked like it hadn't been renovated since the 70s. The room smelled of sweaty feet and wouldn't air out. Popcorn ceiling and walls with no decorations made it look slightly more cheery than a jail cell. Very nice hotel in former 19th century monastery / orphanage. The building has been lovingly restored respecting the details and stories that reflect its history. The meeting rooms are beautifully furnished. The former old rooms now hold a bar and the the chapel is tastefully decorated so you can hold a major party there. The hotel is near the market and the Cube House. In addition, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the pier to the Children's Dike. The room has a terrace and a record player. The only drawback is that the water pressure is low.

The city center is just a 10-minute train ride away. The tram station is nearby, so it was quiet at night and I was able to get plenty of rest. It was a stylish hotel and very comfortable. I really appreciated the water dispenser in the lobby, which was free to refill. I drove, but I was also able to park in the underground car park. This was really appreciated in Amsterdam, where parking is scarce

Super easy check in process & you can leave your bags safely there before and after your stay, so you don’t need to carry them around. Our room had everything we needed, looked cool and the bed was comfy. Also I really liked the wooden room cards, first time seeing this, so I found it impressive.

Ever been to a hotel where the web site totally oversells it? Less common is the opposite and that would be the Hotel Opduin. Central enough (expect to walk/bike) somewhat characterless.

I wish we could have seen a little more of the town center from the room, but the view was still nice. The breakfast included hot* dishes and pancakes, so it was just right for a two-night stay. The only thing that was disappointing was that there wasn't any jam or maple syrup replenished. There was a snack corner near the entrance, which was convenient. I'd like to stay here again.
