Room was well kept. Coffee machine was not that good, nor very clean. The coffee machine downstairs used to be on for customers but it's been off for a long time now. The bathtub in the small room was a good bonus. Very quiet area and super central. Check-in was a bit slow despite people just chilling in the back😅

The room was pretty clean and cozy, the balcony was quite spacious, the bed was comfortable. There was a little back and forth related to final settlement, I wish that could've been solved more easily.

The hotel has a great location and a comfortable lobby. While the rooms have some limitations due to the building's age, they still meet basic travel needs. They're sufficient for exploring the city, although the rooms are a bit cramped; however, this is typical of European hotels.

The room was very clean and air-conditioned. It was close to the station and major attractions. It was about a three-minute walk from the Queen's Palace. The facilities were relatively new. The soundproofing was good at night. It was better than expected.

I booked the smallest room, and it was a bit uncomfortable because there weren't many outlets. A small table would have been nice. However, the view was beautiful and romantic.

The plates smell of egg. The seating area in level 1 cloth seats needs cleaning customers hair left. Great location and friendly staff and good quality building. Good quality is not great and breakfast choices are very limited. Management needs to take some quick actions to the above.

It’s a great hotel, friendly staff, comfortable. But unfortunately I slept quite bad because of noise in the corridor.

The hotel structure is beautiful, the restaurant and bar are cosy.There is akso a small swummingpool and saunas. But the hotel is located outside of the city centre and the rooms have an awful view on commetcial buoldings. Terrible experiemce with one of the receptionist who showed no signs of being service minded.

Spacious rooms, but they're ok. They charge high prices just to give you the cheapest amenities. I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel with cheaper one ply toilet paper. Was here for a meeting. Had a small lunch before the meeting which tasted good. Didn't make use of the rooms so can't judge that but overall the lobby and restaurant looked attractive so I assume the rooms meet the same standard.

A Five-Star Stay in Every Way! I just returned from a fantastic stay at the Van der Valk Hotel Enschede, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect—easy to get to and conveniently close to everything you might need. The value for money is simply unbeatable. For what you get, from the beautiful facilities to the excellent service, the price is more than fair....

Lovely Hotel. Nice concept for family getaway. Beautiful lobby to hangout. The room is very spacious and comfortable. We arrived at night and all looked beautiful. In the morning you could see that the bathroom was not thoroghly cleaned. Found hair from precious guest, dust in corners and dirty tile grout.

Stayed as a quick booking to get our bearings after a cancelled flight, 10 mins from airport by bus and a 3min walk from bus stop to front door. Kind staff Stayed in a King room which was cozy and clean Breakfast is not worth the £16 in my opinion But a wide array of delivery options would definitely reccomemd

A nice affordable hotel, close to the bus station and convenient for the airport. My only complaint is the shower hot water was not consistent. It would go hot and cold.

Stayed here due to an early morning flight the next day. Very convenient travel between airport and hotel (6 mins on the no.300 bus). Staff were amazing and the room was awesome. Very clean. Perfect!

It's close to the airport, I was able to check in online myself. The front desk receptionist was kind and friendly. The room was nice, it has all the necessary amenities such as a mini fridge, coffee and tea maker. It has a decent sized tv (not that we used it, but still). The shower was nice, the pillows and bed are heaven!  The rooms are soundproof. We are definitely going back again.

The whole experience was mediocre, the staff tried hard but didn’t seem to be well trained. Hotel Papendal is a no frills contemporary yet comfortable basic stay hotel used for the Dutch Olympics team. Amazing value, but you get what you expect. Food in the bar wasn't great, but plenty of places nearby to visit instead. Would recommend for a stay when visiting the Airborne Museum ‘Hartenstein’ in Oosterbeek.

It will be better if the shower bracket can be adjusted. But already feeling satisfied with the steaming hot water + good water pressure...

The room isn't huge, but the location is absolutely fantastic. It's right above the Central Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. We also happened to be there during the weekend market, which was less than a minute's walk away, offering all sorts of local cheeses, fries, flowers, and specialties.

Very nice, well located hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Service not quite up to American standards and it appears that they use a lot of interns, especially at night and on weekends. It took 5 days to get them to open the room safe, which was left locked by a previous guest.

I didn't have high expectations because I stayed there while on a business trip, but it was good at first after check-in. However, the cleaning lady took all the coins on the desk while cleaning the room, and that broke my trust in the accommodation. I'd recommend this hotel. We especially liked the wellness area—small but perfectly formed. It was also quick to get to central Amsterdam using the nearby metro. The room had a pleasing design. Unfortunately, you couldn't watch Netflix or anything similar on the TV. This really needs to be updated; it's completely out of date.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the train station, just a street away, and the bus station is also opposite, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and a supermarket across the street. There's an elevator, which makes getting upstairs very easy. The breakfast was also good.

Good location, nice serving and clean room. But the facilities are really old. I think the most modern thing is the LCD TV. We have to said the room and the reception are nice and helpful. They are willing to answer questions and help to solve your problems.

Good stay but staff need to be more service oriented with guests

We had a wonderful weekend. The hotel is close to the city center, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The amenities, such as the swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center, are all there. A jacuzzi in the room is what my 6-year-old daughter calls it. The next time we're in Roermond, we'll definitely book here again.

It is a large hotel in Roermond, with a small balcony for smoking. The surrounding area is very quiet, the parking lot is opposite, and it is very convenient to get in and out. It is not far from the shopping village.

Can't complain a lot, except there is no water boiler, we need to ask. The room is clean, the surrounding is quite and nice. We like to walking at the park after lunch or dinner.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Customer Service was good. My only criticism is I didn't understand the see through shower walls. I was staying with a freind as part of a stag group and the only way we could shower privately was if we turned the bathroom light off. Perfect for a honey moon sweet however it wasnt the occasion for it 😅

Parking was available right in front of the hotel, almost directly on the beach. We stayed in a renovated deluxe double room. The room was well-appointed with all amenities, and though not large, the space was optimally designed. We enjoyed the sunset from our balcony.

The hotel staff was very unfriendly. The room was not the one we had requested, and we requested either a change of room or, if a change was not possible, an additional reservation, but neither of these requests were accommodated. The problem seemed to be due to an error in the room reservation system, but I was surprised at how unfriendly the staff was.

Don't get me wrong, very nice hotel and the rooms are homely, clean and well equipped. Staff are friendly and the terrace has a great view. Breakfast is amazing and although I did not have dinner, Im sure it would be good too. I would say that the lift is a real problem. with so many guests that come from the outside to have brunch and dinner the lifts easily get way too crowded and one waits forever...

The 1.8-meter bed I booked was actually less than 1.5 meters long and one side was against the wall. The facilities were worse than those of a budget hotel and it was really not worth the nearly 2,000 yuan price. The surroundings were also shabby. The beds were not comfortable especially the sofa bed. Have to pay to use the shuttle bus to the air but returns are free but finishes at midnight. Airport to Hotel cost €30. The food choices are very small. If travelling by air very convenient but remember you have to book your own transport to the airport if you are travelling at night.
