However, amidst this dire situation, the angels of hospitality descended upon me in the form of the incredible staff at of Hof van Gelre hotel when I gave them a ring asking for help in this situation
I had an unexpected and somewhat distressing experience arriving at another hotel in the dead of night, only to find no reception, no response to calls, and no taxis in sight
My room was fine bed very comfortable only problem was the shower room.

The room is OK, facing the canal, the scenery is nice, the corridor inside the hotel is also beautiful, close to the South Station, and it takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the Van Gogh Museum
The location is super convenient! It's a pet-friendly hotel, which is great. It's a shame there's no parking, though. The room itself was a decent size, but the heating was incredibly weak, and I was cold all night
They do provide water on the first floor
On the first night, the heating in our room (112) was not working and we were very cold. Since no technicians were available at night, the reception could not offer a solution, and the problem was fixed the next morning
The staff were unable to fix it, so we had to change rooms late at night and move all our belongings to a new room. The new room worked fine, but the experience was quite inconvenient
We stayed at Ibis Rotterdam City Centre for three nights. The location is great and the staff were generally friendly, but unfortunately we had repeated issues with the room heating
However, on the third night the heating broke down again and started blowing cold air, this time only in our room
Kids enjoyed playing pool, foos ball and table tennis. Free parking which was a bonus, close to a supermark
No frills hotel, very friendly and warm staff made you feel welcomed. Family room has kitchenette, it would be great if there were bowls.
Room was very dark. Free carpark is awesome, however really dark too.
Nice place close to The Hague’s city center, just 2,5km. Clean and friendly staff. Also it has its own dedicated design for each floor. I’ve loved the popcorn machine at the front desk.
Friendly reception, immediately got a parking spot, large family composition with all amenities.

Located in the heart of Rotterdam. Easy access to the central railway station. Plenty of eateries and C-store nearby. Tere is a shopping district within walking distance. Most definitely my first choice for my next trip
I’m used to Japanese standards of amenities, so it felt a bit lacking — especially the simple, cheap white indoor slippers 😅 Lesson learned: bring my own next time, haha

Well, the room I booked was a bit small, so we asked for an upgrade and settled everything at the counter
The only problem is very bad soundproof and lightproof on rooms, you can hear everything of other rooms and the blackout curtains don’t really blackout. Otherwise it’s ok, very very well located
The seating areas in the lobby are also very nice. Even though there is no spa, the staff recommended nearby spa salons to us. Their WhatsApp line works very well

A great hotel with excellent value for money
Best thing is 24/7 compliment coffee and tea at lobby bar. Room 207 has very poor design: no useful space for luggages and bath towels at all. It is a family room, not sure if other rooms are the same
The welcome and the staff are very helpful, the breakfast is reasonably priced, the rooms are clean and very warm, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is new and clean
The hotel is a 12-mns walk from the train station and the Doornjoose concert hall, which was the purpose of my trip to Nijmegen
This was our second visit to Blue Nijmegen. Once again we were impressed by the staff, meals, cleanliness and comfort. The bed was so comfy that it was difficult to get going in the morning
This hotel is definitely worth a visit! Very kind personnel. Location is great and the rooms large, clean and equipped with all you need to spend a few days without missing your home
Price is very reasonable too, so I highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending some time at Nijmegen or around (is very close to train station too). Oh, just another point is that the music they play is great too!
I travel a lot and this was one of the best places I have stayed at in a long time. Should I go back to Nijmegen for any reason, I would book a room there again in a heartbeat !
4 days later when being home, I noticed a discrepancy on the final price of my invoice; I contacted the Hotel and got a prompt and very professional answer within the next hour
Superb central location near all the bars, restaurants, shops etc. Comfortable rooms of good size with good amenities, all in a quirky optician theme. Expensive to park here so don’t come by Car

It is located overlooking a park, about a 20 minute walk to city centre. The immediate neighbourhood is residential and quiet. The bedroom was comfortable, warm and well-equipped
Other than no elevator, the hotel was very nice, clean, spacious room. Could use a small refrigerator. Desk (Lisa) and restaurant staff were friendly and effecient . Breakfast was unbelievably good. Well worth it

A lovely 3 night stay, short 30min walk into the City. Our 3 bed room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had tea/coffee facilities and kettle. Large shower room with powerful shower

I didn’t use the dining room so unable to comment, but from the menu it seems quite formal. The hotel has a pretty outdoor seating area. No significant negative points
Poor service and customer experience; Check-in was uncomfortable due to an accusatory tone from front desk staff regarding the number of guests in the room, which felt unwelcoming and unnecessary
The breakfast promotion was poorly communicated, signage suggests an automatic early-bird discount, but a voucher must be requested at check-in, which was not clearly explained
When I picked up my stored bags, it was raining outside, yet the front desk staff still helped carry my luggage downstairs and loaded it into the car

On the day I was supposed to check in, I was in a rush and unable to when I arrived. Instead, my luggage was put in storage until I was able to check in later in the evening
So, I was charged for the day and that included breakfast, which I did not know was still available. Sitting in the lobby and waiting, I was asked if I wanted coffee. Upon saying yes, I was charged for a cup of coffee
During the time that my luggage was moved to storage and while I was in the lobby waiting, if someone asked if I was staying at the hotel and/or if someone told me that breakfast was still being served (cause it is being billed to the room), I would not have had to pay for that cup of coffee
I travel often for work and have seen my share of hotels but your staff is some of the best. Very helpful and extremely polite! My room was comfortable and clean
Lovely one night family stay before picking up our rental car from the airport. A bit pricey for taxi for 5 minute ride (€20), but hotel is really lovely. Nice grounds, pool and terrace
Nice rooms. Attractive hotel. Good food. There is hardly anything to complain about in terms of cleanliness, but there are a few minor things. The hotel is right on the highway. Otherwise there isn't much in the area.

The hotel is in a great location near train station/shopping mall/supermarket. The indoor swimming pool (which is not too small) is another value added feature too.
However, the spa area was also quite basic and very crowded, meaning we couldn't use the sauna, and there were 15 people in the small pool

I stayed here while visiting Utrecht for a rave, and honestly, it was the perfect choice. After an incredible night out, coming back to such a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel was absolute bliss

The bed deserves a mention — it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! Especially after hours of dancing, it felt like laying in heaven

Hotel has got smaller rooms, suites these r with extra space with common kitchen on floor and top floor has studio apartment which r comfortable for longer stay
From the outside, it doesn't look like a hotel but more like a large residential apartment building. But it is a very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff

This hotel is around 4 kms from city center. Internet connectivity is better in this hotel compared to other available hotels in Terneuzen
Whereas many hotels nowadays compromise on hospitality & service, the Mövenpick Hotel in Den Bosch / 's-Hertogenbosch has been hospitable and welcoming during all stays I had over the past years

The breakfast has a good selection of warm and cold dishes so I'm sure there is something for everyone. Dinner selection is good as well. Not huge but a good selection and the food is particularly well prepared
As there is not much around I had to pick up the car to buy something I forgot. The service is nice and attentive
The only think i didnt like was that guests smoke Next to my Window and i can smell the cigarettes and hear their conversation, perhaps at 1:30 am. But i guess is more the guests than the Hotel Itself

It's a nice hotel located in a very green environment, very soothing for a walk, so it's not in a urban area. For stores you need to travel, but it's not too far away from the city centre.

Beautiful hotel in modern style. Be attended on the very early checkout. It is at 10am, but you can pay extra €30 and stay in your room until 1pm if you like.
Personable staff, interesting and quirkily fitted out, it was comfortable, quiet and a beautiful place to stay. The restaurant is particularly brilliant

An artificial orchid, a "view" onto the black wall of an adjacent building, a small bathroom which looked nice but regrettably lacked a functional concept: small hand basin, no room for my own toiletries, inadequate lighting for applying makeup, no magnifying mirror and an open rain shower cabin that caused a "deluge"
The staff was friendly and attentive, food presentation was flawless and all courses were delicious. The breakfast buffet was nice and varied with dishes made to order and coffee served on the table
