It’s was okay but some issues.
The bar man is very nice. There are locals hanging out at the bar and most are very nice and very welcoming but some are hostile. One guy said he could cause us a lot of trouble if we’re not careful. This was after my gf didn’t shake his hand but he was quite drunk.
On the first day of our stay one worker knocked and entered our room without waiting. It could have been a lot worse if we’re showering or something else and lucky I jumped up to push him out and told him never to do it.
The hotel is a bit old but they do keep it somewhat clean.
Muscat is very spread out but you’re in walking distance to supermarket and malls but be careful on the busy roads. There is a Tim’s coffee just across the street. And some restaurants close by as well.

had one of the worst experiences at this so-called “4-star” hotel. I arrived early from Dubai at 4 AM, only to be met by an unprofessional staff member who was not wearing a uniform or name badge. He insisted that I had to pay for two nights (March 30 and 31), even though I was checking in early on the 31st. When I tried to explain the hotel’s early check-in policy, he refused to listen and told me I could only check in at 5 AM—even though my room was already ready! He was clearly just trying to get more money from me. When I finally checked in, I was handed a piece of paper for parking instructions. A 4-star hotel giving parking directions on paper? Worse, the directions were unclear, and I ended up going to the wrong location. Instead of properly guiding me, the same staff member just pointed vaguely and was completely unhelpful. When I reached my room at 5 AM, I was shocked. The room was a disaster—smelly, dusty, and dirty. The furniture was covered in dust, the carpet was filthy, and the entire place felt unhygienic. When I complained, I was told there were no other rooms available. This hotel lacks basic customer service, professionalism, and cleanliness. Stay away! There are much better options out there.

First time staying at this hotel. Visited for a drink on my last visit when in Muscat. Rooms are clean, staff very friendly and the two bars are a nice change. Close to plenty of shops and restaurants. The pool is very large so wasn't very crowded. Overall we worth a stay, especially for a few days whether it be work or pleasure.

We stayed here for three nights. The front desk is open 24 hours a day. All the hotel staff are very polite. The two single beds are quite large. The shower in the bathroom is very strong and comfortable. Breakfast starts at 5:30 in the morning. It is the earliest hotel I have encountered on this trip where breakfast can be served.

Decent hotel outside Muscat. Need transportation to get into Muscat city centre and the taxis tend to charge more for tourist. The hotel itself is quite good with a very big gym and swimming pool. Don't expect anyone to carry your luggage as there are no Porter. The check-in was easy and we were given a room even though it was before 2 pm check-in time. There is a 2 Oman rial extra charge per night if you want a smoking room . Taxi ride by hotel taxi is minimum 3 Oman rial

Went on Friday evening to eat biryani and kebabs but the place sucks. Couldn't eat any mutton Kebabs because of its hardness and kerosene smell. Friend ordered paneer curry and same review came from him. The ambience and food both are bad.
