Hotel Wawel, Krakow1 / 28
9.1
Krakow, Ul. Poselska 22 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Clean room, a little stuffy. Decor a little dated. Carpets could be updated. Great location but a little tired.
Our stay at Hotel WAWEL was excellent from start to finish, and it’s rare to find a property that delivers both comfort and genuine hospitality so consistently. The 24-hour front desk was seamless and reassuring, making arrivals and late evenings effortless. Our apartment was spacious and beautifully laid out — truly generous by European standards — and immediately felt comfortable and intentional...
Friendly staff on check in room was very clean and warm hotel very close to central square
Great location, friendy and helpful staff, very clean and great decor. Only downside no tea/coffee facilities in room, communal room only
Great place to stay. I would definitely book another room there if I ever return to Krakow…Absolutely love Krakow…
We booked a last minute stay at this hotel. It's perfectly located from for a City break its about 10mins from the Train station and a few minutes from the old town. The room we got was located on the 2nd floor above reception so overlooked the road. However it was so quiet we didn't hear anything from our room. The room was massive with plenty space, however the layout was probably not the best...

Very nice and warm, friendly and very helpful staff.
Having stayed at Puro hotels in Gdańsk, Warsaw, Wrocław, and Warsaw, this one was a little disappointing by comparison. It’s noticeably smaller than the others, and while I understand the design choice, the décor felt dated and wasn’t really to my taste. It did grow on me after a few days, but stylistically it’s my least favourite Puro property so far. We stayed in a top-floor suite, and again, compared...
Amazing staff. From concierge, restaurant, and housekeeping. Everyone was lovely and pleasant. Kudos to concierge Alicija who gave us recommendations on food and attractions. Will definitely book again. Amazing location. Adjacent galaeri krakowska (mall) and accessible to train, trams and buses!
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel-The service was truly exceptional-every staff member I interacted with was welcoming and helpful. I especially want to give a big shout-out to the bartenders, who were incredibly friendly and absolutely amazing throughout my stay. The hotel offers great free activities, which was such a nice bonus, and I loved having access to the free hot beverages machine-perfect...
I cannot say enough good things about this excellent hotel! The reception, bar and breakfast staff were super nice and helpful. In particular the bar tender made us amazing cocktails. Also, we arrived late and it wasn't an issue at all, nor was storing our luggage until late the next night. The room was comfortable, completely clean and with a nice view. The decor of the common spaces was incredible...
Absolutely amazing stay! I was on a business trip with a group of 14 people, and every single one of us was equally impressed. The staff at Puro Hotel Old Town Kraków were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was great during my stay. The hotel was very comfortable and the service was excellent. The only thing that was not entirely clear to me is how the security deposit will be refunded. I would like to know how the refund process works and how long it usually takes to receive the amount that was requested upon arrival.
We were upgraded to double tree
Nice hotel, helpful staff. Definitely worth to stay
Room is clean and quiet. Breakfast is good and with a lot of varieties. You need to pay for parking and pool. Reception never mentioned that pool is not free.
Nice and clean. Very easy for driving traveler.
Our stay in Krakow was perfect especially the hotel we stayed in was nice and comfortable. We would love to come here again should we go to Krakow in the coming years.

Brilliant hotel. Great location. Lovely breakfast. Rooms very clean. Just need more spoons at breakfast….. random I know!!
Nice and very new hotel, well located. But the bedding leaves a lot to be desired: the sheets are small and don't cover your whole body, neither in length nor in width. The pillow is tiny and flat. It's a shame and it really detracts from the hotel.
The transportation was convenient, the hotel staff were friendly, and the full-length mirror in the room was great for getting ready.
Great location, clean, good selection for breakfast and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend
Kraków is truly a beautiful city! The hotel’s location is excellent !Suituated in the Jewish Quarter, very close to the Old Town, and extremely convenient for getting around. The breakfast was delicious, and I especially loved the room’s skylight design ! it was absolutely beautiful and made the space feel so special. Highly recommended!
Nothing really to complain about here! Great location & 24 hours front desk. The hotel is located on a street full of restaurants and a nice Swedish cafe with great coffee (for Europe - I’m from Melbourne) and Swedish pastries - my fiancé is from Sweden. 4/5 for amenities as there’s no gym / sauna like other hotels we’ve been to for similar prices, but that’s no biggie.

Good centralish location. Room was modern, decent size for a few days and clean bathroom. Twin bed is actually a large mattress with two sets of pillows and duvets, rather than two separate beds. Basic room amenities - shower gel/shampoo, towels and a kettle with two tea bags only. Good heating and water filter machine on the corridor is a nice touch. Service was friendly and quick. Room was very clean, staff were polite and helpful and the breakfast had a good selection. There was some noise from trams on the street but it wasn't a significant issue for us
The hotel was in a great location …. convenient for everywhere The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The shower was the best ever….. instant and powerful The breakfast buffet was excellent… a great start to the day! The staff were very helpful Would happily return
The room was absolutely spotless as was everything at the hotel.Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely with lots of different things and everything was fresh and beautifully displayed.
Break with friends Lovely little hotel in easy walk of square bars and restaurants Good breakfast enough to choose from Would stay here again
Great hotel, room was clean and comfortable and we had the added bonus of a balcony. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast once in the hotel due to early trips etc but the food was fresh, variety great and value for money. No complaints regarding WiFi and air conditioning bothered welcome and worked well.

Nice, clean, modern room with great view over the river to the castle. Pleasant staff and minibar a nice touch. Easy access to city centre, highly recommend.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had a spectacular view of the castle and river. It was clean, with a lovely soft deep carpet, decent storage for clothing, comfortable bed, and bathroom with good lighting, a magnifying mirror and lovely toiletries. Temperature control kept reverting to a high temperature, not great for sleeping, but that was the only negative.
nice plush quality room with fridge and a kettle. friendly staff. excellent breakfast (although no baked beans !) nice bar area and great quality restauraunt on top floor
It is my understanding that this hotel very recently, underwent a renovation. That being said, when the room was booked, we booked a king. Kings are no longer an option in this room post-reno, so we dealt with a queen. This information was not relayed to us and no other options were provided. The room was TINY. A constant scent was sprayed into the room from somewhere and it wasn't exactly subtle....
Everything was great from checking in, room and food as always. Recommendations for all white trying to find an attractive place to stay for overnight or more.
Short City Break Hotel was clean and comfy. The reception staff were always very helpful. We booked our trips to the salt mine and Auschwitz through the hotel. View over the castle and river was amazing. Probably one of the best hotel room views we have ever had. Hotel is only 5 min walk from the old town.

I really liked the Columbus Hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Grzegorzki train station, which is the next stop after the main station Rynek, coming from the airport. Nice early 20th century hotel. Incredibly clean, excellent breakfast and location a 15 minute walk from main square.
Is my second time staying at the hotel still t great service. I want to say thank you to the front desk young lady that helped us booked tickets to Auschwitz last minute. BREAKFAST was amazing. Perfect location. Comfortable bed and linen. Good breakfast. Loved the 1930's hotel. Best of all the welcoming and helpful staff. Perfect stay
Very pleasant stay. Well located nice breakfasts Lovely staff, rooms were clean very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was of excellent quality and on early check out they even prepared a takeway snack for us. Also sorted out transfers and a tourist trip. We all enjoyed this hotel. The Hotel was great; very quick and pleasant check in. The waitresses serve me a drink even they just closed the bar. The room was clean and spacious with a kettle for hot drinks. Their breakfast was excellent but they cold have more coffee machines as there was a queue. The hotel is close to airport so it is ideal to sleep over there for morning flights from Kraków.
Overnight stay before flying home. Best placed hotel for getting to the airport . 5 easy miles . Did the job - decent breakfast
Not for solo travellers The only couple of advantages to stay here-1.Location(close to airport) 2. Free parking. This hotel and its staff are clearly focused on group travel only. If you’re traveling alone, you won’t be served in the restaurant after 9 p.m. And that annoying midnight noise in the room… feels like a diesel generator.
Food was very good, nice common areas. Room was clean and comfortable
We were stranded in Krakow Airport (3 couples) by Severe Fog for 39 hours. The Lufthansa staff found us 3 Double Rooms in the Fero Express (not far from the airport) and only 10 mins drive away. We were checked in by a lovely Dark Haired Lady (sadly I've forgotten her name) she informed us that Evening Meal was finishing as we were checking in BUT she would hold off clearing up until after we had eaten...
Comfortable bed with really soft bed linen, room was warm and clean. Good shower. Great breakfast selection. Fantastic location for the airport and south west Krakow area. There was unfortunately a lot of noise in the corridors at night and the breakfast room was exceptionally busy due to a few coach tour groups staying but overall highly recommended.

Room was VERY basic and small (double with 2 beds). Great location.
An affordable hotel. Not luxury but has all the basics for a solo traveler. Clean. Friendly staff. Offers breakfast for a fee but didn’t try this. Well positioned close to a train station and the old town. Perfect for a short visit to Krakow. Would recommend.
The location is very convenient and I was attended to very well. The hotel has vintage vibes with many paintings and is quiet The plumbing and mattress could’ve been better. Special thanks to the staff for arranging my my early checkout and arranging a meal for me as well. Much appreciated 💝
Great location in the Old Town, walking distance to the Main Square. Rooms and bathrooms are super clean, staff very helpful and polite. Reception open 24 h if you need anything. Shops and cafes nearby.
A very conveniently located hotel right between Old Town and Kazimierz, that has its best days passed. Rooms are decent size, somewhat smelly, and partly styled as "historic". All in all everything needs some renovation. Breakfast is underwhelming, but given the price this is to be expected. Price, location and friendliness of the staff may make you consider, overall quality and run-down neighborhood...

Absolutely stunning hotel and located in the heart of Krakow! Upon arrival I was offered coffee, a soy latte to be exact which surprised me. All staff were very polite, all spoke excellent English, the rooms were visually appealing as well as being clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was from a fixed menu which offered a good choice and was served freshly prepared.
The whole experience from checking in to checking in out was amazing. This trip was booked last minute. Had no time to plan. The staff were fantastic. Breakfast 10/10 everywhere walkable. Stopped here for just a few nights some weeks ago.. first visit to Poland yet alone Krakow. My impressions are that it is a first class hotel that I thoroughly enjoyed. The room was small, the bathroom smelled- most likely from the drains. The location was ideal thought, and quite nice breakfast. Overall, i believe it was slightly overpriced, but served the purpose- and most importantly- it had 12pm check out- which was hugely appreciated.
Just back from a lovely weekend away, room was comfortable, staff friendly and very helpful. My only negative point was the lack of English Breakfast Tea available at Breakfast and I know I'm not the only one who mentioned this to staff this weekend.
