Great location! I chose a room facing the main street and got to enjoy the beautiful tree-lined street every morning. The other guests were mostly quiet couples, and the breakfast atmosphere was lovely

It was so convenient to be able to return to the hotel for a break when I got tired from sightseeing, and then head back out. The light blue exterior walls also give it a stylish touch

When we arrived the hotel and there is some maintenance work going on, they gave me an upgrade to another one which is near by. The staffs are very helpful and even help me to book the bus tickets

The hotel staff is very friendly, the view on the top floor is very beautiful, they also enthusiastically introduced us to the sardine party celebration on the street, all the facilities of the hotel are very good! Next time I go to Portugal, I will still choose it

What a place! From check in to check out everything was perfect! The hotel has a wonderful rooftop with a breathtaking view of the Tagus River and all of Alfama! The staff are fantastic, always willing to help! A place to come back to without any hesitation!

A perfect little boutique hotel. I had a wonderful two days in Lisbon. The location was a bit hard to find, in an alley in the Alpha district of the old town. The hotel rooms were small but exquisitely decorated

Alpha district, near the cathedral, except for the Bolt hotel if you are going from the station or airport with luggage, you can walk to other places for shopping

We wanted to stay in Old Town or Chiado and loved 9Hotel Mercy. The rooms are modern, clean, while appointed. The breakfast bar is really really good. The staff are the star point, they are so friendly and helpful

It had everything I needed and was excellent for the price. Room was impeccably clean and there was a really nice shower. The only disappointing thing was that the rooftop bar was not open

The staff was exceptional- from dinner recommendations, to storing our luggage before check in, to the staff at breakfast and the rooftop bar, Hotel Do Chiado delivered! The location was great, just a 10 minute walk from a large train station making for easy access to a lot of sights and day trips

This is a very recommended hotel. It doesn’t have a big appearance, but the location is very good. The breakfast is also very good. I asked the waiter whether the buffet is uneconomical when there are not many people

The staff was 100% one of the best hotel staff I’ve ever encountered! They constantly took care of us, went above and beyond, even, walked me around the block to make sure I knew where the parking area was

He said that there are many people in the summer, and sometimes they provide some in the winter when there are few people. The hotel gave me a room with a view of the street, Castelo and the sea

They said it would be available at 7am, it was there on time, as I had to be at the airport at 8am, I waited 20 minutes and the cafe remained closed. In other words, I traveled without breakfast (and paid for it)

Perfect location, nice views, modern, walk out the door and you will see a subway entrance 4 steps away. Well stocked breakfast buffet on the 7th floor with wires of the modern financial center

For a budget hotel, the service was excellent, and the surrounding area was convenient, though a bit chaotic. The hotel's facilities were good, but somewhat dated. Overall, it's suitable for solo travelers.

Our room overlooked the Praca do Municipio, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Close to everything - shops, restaurants, parks, and metro. Our room was tiny, but comfortable

It is a super tiny pool as we had wanted a pool but apart from that, the gym is ok and the steam and sauna rooms are v good. The breakfasts are good and we overate everytime (!!!!)

If you're using your hotel to sleep in only whilst you spend the day out and about this is perfect. Located next to the green line which is the perfect line to get you down town in minutes.

Bar 38 41 is a great place to eat and drink at. Location is amazing by the sea with great views. Of the weather is good you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Food is amazing and sauce for fries best one we ever had

It's about 20 minutes from the airport and right next to Rossio Square, so it was easy to find and convenient for sightseeing the next day. Area: There's a supermarket right next door, so it was easy to buy everything

Stayed in 2010 and 2011 and everytime a friend goes to Lisbon I send them back there. The staff is friendly and helpful (they went out of their way to find us a channel with the NHL playoffs in the middle of the night)

The accommodations are clean and bright, very spacious and very safe. Oh and it’s in a very central area of Lisbon, just steps from a Metro station

The entrance to the Metro at Saldanha is literally outside the hotel doors. So convenient for visiting all the sites. Buy a Navigante card and you can top up amounts so you can use it as zapping

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but there are loads of local cafes, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets just minutes from the hotel

Beds are firm but comfortable. Disagree with complaints in other reviews re noise (tram stops at 11 pm and it’s quiet after that) and small room size (they’re just fine, this is Europe!). Will definitely stay here again

Hotel Convento do Salvador was a pleasant surprise. Located in the Alfama district, within walking distance of the historic sites, it was light and bright and clean and safe

Stayed at Gat Rossio for 1night. Staff service was great, tho i went early to check in and could only kept my luggages but they services provided was awesome

Location wise, was just 2min walk outside for a metro and surrounding all the dining area. But if to walk to city centre might take abt 5-8min

No one answered my messages pre arrival - they ignored all my questions about room amenities/preferences, but on the arrival day, someone messaged me, offering me paid (with surprisingly high price) taxi transfer! I didn't take the offer as I booked a much cheaper transfer

Is the Chinese Consulate across the street? The hotel looks unremarkable from the outside, but inside, it has a garden and a pool. The staff are very friendly, and card access is secure

The boutique hotel is set in a historical area of Portugal so not every form of transportation is granted access arriving at the hotel. This I wasn't aware of, but made me more happy we were going to be staying here

The subway station is only 50 meters away, and the bus stop No. 708 (directly to the long-distance bus station and high-speed railway station) is only 100 meters away
