Environment: Centrally located on Boulevard Liberty, surrounded by great restaurants and shops, close to everything, yet quiet despite being in a bustling area

The French retro-style decor was gorgeous, and I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance

The shower was handheld, but the drainage was poor. Be careful, as the water will overflow towards the toilet if you keep it running. There was no shampoo or conditioner, only a combined soap dispenser

The male staff member at night was completely unfriendly. The location was convenient, just 200m to the above-ground entrance of Baixa-Chiado station and a 2-minute walk to Tram 28 stop

Hotel in an excellent location, everything is well connected and in walking distance as well! Many restaurants nearby, breakfast is good and the services are good. Recommended

Overall, it was a good stay, but I do have a few concerns. First, some rooms are noticeably sloped. My room, in particular, had a discernible tilt in several areas. Since I mostly just slept there, it was fine for me

It was a Hollywood twin room with soft beds and two types of pillows, two of each, plus two extra cushions. There were power outlets by the bed, and light switches on both sides of the bed

My stay at the NH Collection Lisboa Liberdade was absolutely amazing. The location on Avenida da Liberdade is unbeatable—perfect for walking to the best shops and historic sites

When items were requested, they were delivered in an unprofessional manner. Even after asking the staff to ensure proper refills on the following days, the same issue continued

Overall, while the hotel has great potential in terms of location and comfort, it needs major improvement in management, customer service, and guest relations

On the first morning, I was woken up early by loud maintenance and construction work in a neighboring room. The noise was excessive and unacceptable

The reception staff were lacking and in need of much better training. They are the face of the hotel and if they are not happy smiling and attentive it leaves a very bad impression with customers

In complete contrast Ruben who looks after the breakfast room was caring, happy, attentive and went out of his way and did whatever necessary to make your breakfast as joyful and perfect as possible

The rooms were clean and spacious although we did have an issue with a green flashing light in the room. I called down to reception and they told me how to resolve this

The hotel was in a great location very near a Metro station and very central. There were lots of good restaurants near by, which were very reasonable priced

We found them to be very unapproachable and not forthcoming in their assistance. No smile, no cheer, no willingness to assist

The view from my room was also dismal, directly facing someone else’s balcony, which meant the blinds had to stay closed for privacy. And then there’s the Wi-Fi, which was slower than a snail crossing a puddle in winter

The bed was very comfortable , bathroom spacious and the hotel provided amazing amenities(I say amazing because half of Europe doesn’t really provide amenities like slippers ,drinking water,shampoo ,conditioner etc)

The location is in a very quiet and safe area which I appreciated. It’s also easy to get around using an Uber, bus or walking. The staff were also good and very helpful when I had some questions

Though the shower area tends to flood and spill out onto the floor if you take a long shower, even with the glass door shut. Does get quite wet and slippery. But we weren't too bothered by it

Great location, walkable everywhere. The room is decent, standard size for a European hotel. Lobby has a bar and friendly staff.

The custard tarts on offer at breakfast are a brilliant way to start the day. The hotel is situated towards top of a hill. daunting at first but easy from then on

I stayed 3 nights and 4 days , the towel were never changed for the duration of my stay Airport drop off taxi service way more expensive than Bolt or Uber - ended up taking a Bolt Location ok if you are in shape, 40 min walk from the center

It's clean, the bathroom is not crammed. The staff is friendly all throughout and the breakfast is good. The pool area however is really sub-par. It's tiny and you need to reserve a spot

The cleaning was perfunctory, either forgetting to provide towels or bath towels, there was always something missing.

The hotel - which is located near Saldanha- is very Nice. The rooms have a refrigerator and mini safe. Within 4 minutes you have several bus stations, a continente supermarket, small Indian market and bakery

Strict check in time, but able to leave luggage, and they take them to your room for you. Spa area is peaceful and relaxing, spa pool nice and clean, mandatory swimming cap which they provide

All that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Lounge open nearly all day, with piano music starting at 7:30 pm. A restaurant that I'm told by many from outside of hotel has an excellent sapling pig, I'll try it tonight

The breakfast is rich, the western restaurant on the 4th floor is amazing, the foie gras and black pork are absolutely delicious, there are Japanese and Portuguese restaurants nearby

The grounds around hotel are delightful as is the charm of the hotel itself. And, of course the staff really makes the place, always friendly and helpful

It was so strong that it could strip paint! The Uber ride to the main city of Lisbon was a quick 10 minutes and only cost about 6 euros. There’s also a gym, sauna, indoor pool, and outdoor pool (weather permitting)

Straddles two bustling town squares as well as adjacent to the pedestrian rue Augusta with tons of cafe, shops and restaurants. Four story gorgeous Zara across the street on one side and Benetton on the other

Great hotel! Amazing location, clean room, great view of the square, fast wi-fi, great coffee, and very courteous staff! Only minor issue was that there was no power socket next to the bed and no USB charger

Our only regret is that our stay was very brief, just for one night, but my wife already planned to revisit Lisbon so hopefully we will have another chance to stay here again pretty soon

I also didn't have the right power adapter for Portugal, but the lady at the counter even let me borrow their universal power plug, so that problem was solved nicely

There's a great restaurant in the same building and we even got 50% discount for our dinner as a hotel guest! This was one of the great hotel experiences

It's at the end of a quiet street (only taxis and other authorized vehicles can pass through). The property retains it's historical character with accuracy and the owner's artwork adds personal charm

We had the pleasure of staying at the Palacio and cannot recommend it more highly. The location, overlooking the Miradouro de Santa Caterina and the rooftops of Baixa is outstanding

There's a spectacular (albeit small) pool overlooking the city, a rooftop bar with a panoramic view and several dining choices, which sadly we did not enjoy

Really great experience staying here. Staff were so attentive and assisted me whenever I needed it. The rooftop area has a gorgeous view, and the yellow room is a tranquil place to also work/read

We even received a thank you note from our housekeeper for the tip we left - a first for us!! Prior to our trip, I had agonized over our hotel selection but I'm so happy with our final choice!

But the true jewels of this property are its employees and the warmth which they welcome you. From Joana, the hostess, to Mariana, the front desk receptionist, all made us feel at home
