We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was always delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The staff were very kind and accommodating — they allowed us to check in earlier than the standard time. While we were waiting for our room to be prepared, they offered to store our luggage safely and even invited us to have lunch in the restaurant. Such thoughtful service made our stay especially pleasant.

Just got back from a 10 day holidayand as the last time we visited had wonderful and relaxing stay. Staff so welcoming and friendly they work so efficiently and always with a smile. We couldn't fault the food . So much variety would find it hard to want for anything more. Drinks anything you want. A lovely and homely atmosphere.different areas to choose from to sit and relax without being on top of other people. Rooms clean .Location is perfect. Step outside and the shops are right on the doorstep. Beach not even five minute walk away . This is our second visit and hopefully we will be booking to go again next year. They say staff are only as good as the management and you won't find a more pleasant and hard working manager than the one at The Nordeste.

We have just returned from 4 nights here and we had a lovely stay the hotel was nice, staff were all very friendly, room was lovely and clean, food was great plenty of options everyday. It was a great location very close to the beach. My only issue was some of the other guests we found to be very rude and disapproving of our disabled child but this was nothing to do with the hotel.

Just got back from 5 days here, the hotel itself is ok but could do with some major renovations. Pros: -Great location, 2 minute walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants near -Rooms are quite big and modern, comfy beds -Selection of all inclusive drinks were good -Food was ok, standard all inclusive options -The bar and restaurant staff work tirelessly to serve everyone and keep the area looking clean and tidy Cons: -Pool is tiny and there is no atmosphere around the pool area, no music activities etc -The dining room is clearly too small for all the guests, it was near on impossible to walk round without bumping into someone -No fridge in the room so can’t keep your own food/drinks cold -The ‘spa’ is supposed to have a heated pool which we were told is only open from ‘May-October’ by the guy on reception. Given other reviews it’s clear they don’t bother to heat this, also had to request the sauna and steam room to be turned on and we were told this was only available from 2pm even though the spa is supposed to open at 10am… quite confusing -This hotel is clearly marketed towards an older crowd (mostly German) so would avoid coming here with kids or as a couple as tbh there is not much going on.. -The rooms are so noisy, we were constantly awoken by our neighbours banging around and moving furniture which meant restless nights of sleep -The ceiling in the reception area was peeling away and there was leaks in the roof in the restaurant meaning you had to walk around buckets of water when trying to get your food… If you have low expectations and want a budget stay then this is the place for you, if it wasn’t for the hardworking staff it would be 2/5 stars

I wouldn't recommend staying longer than 2-3 days. 90% of the food is the same, if we're talking about all-inclusive. The internet is terrible. There is no smart TV. The sound insulation between rooms is awful. It's not very clean, and the cleaning service is mediocre. On the plus side, it's close to the beach, there is a sauna and gym, the staff are helpful.

I’d say the only good point is the location.
Rooms were not to a clean standard, limescale all around the bathroom especially on the shower glass and shower head. There was a horrible damp/mould smell coming from the air on, also all over the ceiling you could see previous mould staining that they have painted over and is slowly seeping back through. Another smell issue was the bathroom, especially in the morning and evening when I assume most people are still in their rooms and using the toilet, there is a strong sewerage smell, we worked out it must be that being on second floor, all waste from above floors was coming down and possibly just sitting in the pipes which then seep up the shower drains and cause the whole room to stink. The hotel is just in general disrepair, there were broken tiles n the stairs which could have been a really bad trip hazard. There was a lot of sand in the corners of room which remained for our stay which showed the cleaners standards, beds were made every day but can’t be certain that the bedding was actually changed. A couple nights it was slightly chilly in the room, the first night I awoke feeling chilly so I got up and grabbed the duvet I had noticed in the wardrobe earlier that day, by morning in the light I noticed it was stained so this shows they are not disposed of when visibly stained. Food was so boring and repetitive, breakfast id say was the best offering but we ended up having to have 6 out of 7 evening meals out. The soft drinks were just soda, disappointing. Also maybe I didn’t see, but the hotel is completely non smoking, even directly outside of the hotel this is enforced.

This is a lovely hotel for the price you pay. Overall the hotel is tidy and clean - some bits could do with a bit of attention but the staff work hard to make sure that it’s kept clean and that the restaurant functions well. There was a good variety of food on offer which changed day by day - as well as plenty of options for fussy eaters! The outdoor pool is quite quiet but that was actually a pleasant surprise! It’s also so close to the beach - much closer than we expected. The indoor pool / sauna area was a bit grim and could do with a major revamp / investment.

We stayed at this hotel towards the end of July. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The location was great, food was lovely and varied and the cleanliness of the hotel was good too. It’s definitely not a hotel for the english and we were in the minority. Therefore, didn’t speak to many foreigners as they weren’t very friendly. However, that’s not the hotels fault. A special thank you to bar staff. We had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful time here. Staff welcoming from the start and continued all our stay. The manager himself was very hands on and always had a smile and a pleasant word to say as did all the staff.Couldn't fault the food and plenty of it. Staff replenishing it all the time so never ran out of anything. Liked the fact there were various areas to sit and relax. Shops literally round the corner and plenty of them. Beach five minute walk away. We enjoyed the holiday so much we've booked to go again later in the year.
