We stayed at this hotel for three nights and, unfortunately, it fell short of 5-star expectations. Check-in was easy, but parking is self-parking in an open lot for €20/day - and no valet parking.

We booked the top room with a balcony, but the layout was unusual, with an open plan bathroom in the middle of the room. The room also had an unpleasant smell on two of the three nights. Daily cleaning was minimal, and there was no second touch-up during the day - something 5-star hotels often provide, such as refreshing towels, straightening the room, or other small gestures that make a stay feel luxurious. In my view, a true 5-star hotel shines through attention to these little details.

We hoped to enjoy a bottle of wine on the balcony, but there was no wine opener provided. Reception offered either going to the bar or paying €6 for one - an unusual inconvenience for a luxury hotel.

We tried the tapas restaurant Olé, hoping for a convenient option after our late arrival. The food was disappointing and well below expectations for a 5-star resort. Interestingly, the restaurant has a 2.3-star rating on Google, which seems to reflect our experience. It was surprising, as we had expected to enjoy dining within the hotel without needing to go elsewhere.

Breakfast was also underwhelming. There is only one coffee machine, which creates long lines, and there is no barista available to order a proper cup of coffee. For a 5-star hotel, this feels like a missed opportunity to deliver a more comfortable and refined experience.

The hotel has huge potential, but these issues made the experience feel closer to a 3-star stay. Beautiful setting aside, service, room design, and attention to detail all fell short of what a 5-star hotel should deliver.

This place was a pleasant surprise, didn’t expect it to be this good, the lady at the check in desk upgraded us to a presidential suite and it was amazing. The prices were highly economical compared to the quality of the stay and service. Would recommend to anyone visiting Almeria.

An international class hotel that is huge, poor overpriced food, although breakfast was extensive you spent a long time looking for your ingredients as there seemed little logic to where it was placed in the buffet served. So bad I didn’t bother with breakfast after day 2. A very sterile kind of place. Located in a large urbanisation and golfing complex I would not go back.

We had a great time in this hotel last week.

The rooms and surroundings are modern, super clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

At the end of the week the tapas bar has opened for the season and offers nice drinks.

As the weekends are usually fully booked in this hotel we had difficulties to get a sun bed on Saturday. After mentioning that at the reception and discussing it shortly, the hotel has provided more beds. For a hotel that is advertising the pool area the number has to be increased massively to ensure that everyone has one available.

For breakfast fresh fruits and a wide range of cereals and cooked eggs and vegetables was offered as well as various cheese and meat cuts were served. We would have preferred to get freshly pressed juices which would better fit to a five-star-hotel. Furthermore, it would be great if the selection of bread could be improved. Mainly toast and white bread has been served.

In general we had a great stay and would like to come back.

My wonderful boyfriend booked our second stay here as a surprise. I adore this hotel and instantly relax when I walk in. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We had dinner in a lovely Italian, again our second visit. Breakfast the next day was great, wide choice replenished whilst we were there, hot and tasty. Loved my stay. Hasta pronto. ♥️

To be transparent, we just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel with a group of 28 family members. This is one of two reviews I will leave, because while this one is glowing due to the help of two front desk individuals, the other review will show another side because of two service managers.
1. Rooms were great except for the translucent 'box' shower sitting in the open mere feet from one of the beds (taking a late night shower woke up my wife!)
2. As for service, this is a shout out specifically to Ricardo and Diego. These two gentlemen are what makes the hotel a pleasure. Diego dealt with a change to our reservation with grace and followed up with details during our stay to make sure we had nothing to worry about. As an East Coast USA Professor, I had one class that I needed to teach while staying at the hotel - that meant I was teaching from 1am to 4am Almeria time. Ricardo helped me find a quiet location, made sure no one would interrupt my Zoom call and even (quietly) brought me water during the call! Neither of these gentlemen wanted praise but they both deserve it!
3. Location - this is a tough one - if you want to be fully unplugged and away from tourism, this is a great place. If you want a few shops to buy trinkets and gifts you won't find them, and there are only a few little restaurants tucked right beside the hotel.

Again, Diego and Ricardo are wonderful people!

I came as a guest of Cosentino for a European designer event and decided to stay a few extra days. The large hotel seems fairly new and is located right on the beach which is nice. My room - suite was enormous maybe almost overly so to the point that the very large living room
Seems a bit empty as if the designers had not known what to do with all the space. However the rest was tasteful and modern. Missing though were an in room safe box, iron and ironing board and an alarm clock phone charger of some sort. I arrived on a Sunday and did not have. European plug for my phone and with no usb connection in the room had to struggle
To find a plug locally given the remote location.
The bathroom was also modern beautiful
and spacious . Water pressure in the large shower was underwhelming and it took about 5 minutes for hot water to arrive which I got used to and just started run I g it as soon as I got up! Insane for an area where water is such a scarce commodity!

Overall the hotel is on a mediocre beach and there is not much to do. After our event I rented a car and explored Almeria and Mojacar ( highly recommend)
Staff are very friendly and accommodating
The breakfast buffet is large and even being vegan I was able to find a few tasty and filling items! Both oat and also soy milk are available and they have wonderful fresh fruit. There are hot mushrooms and beans and grilled tomatoes every day. Not my usual fare but it was very good.

The small pool bar has a limited menu and if you have dietary restrictions this can be a bit rough. There is one salad which is basically romaine lettuce a few slices of tomato, walnuts and cheese. Without the cheese not very filling especially at 16 euros. The other items a grilled eggplant dish has some slices of eggplant and onion layered napoleon style on a plate. Pretty but again not much food at the end of the day. A veggie burger or pasta dish would be a great addition here.

Overall I liked the place a lot especially given the low cost of the rooms.

To be transparent, this is the second of two reviews. We were a group of 28 family members and stayed for two weeks. My other review was glowing because of two front desk individuals, but this review is negative because of two general service managers that should probably be trained in customer service.
Jose and Domingo seem to run the restaurant, bar and pool service. Unfortunately, they are both short tempered and appear stressed, pushing that stress onto guests in ways that made our stay unpleasant.
My 19 year old son was 'yelled at' by Jose several times for sitting at the bar, sitting on a cabana seat and then for making sandwiches because he and his group of cousins waited 90 minutes for food that they'd ordered.
I was 'yelled at' by Domingo for wanting hot tea at lunch (I know sounds crazy). He was very intent on making sure I and my group of family members knew that tea would only be available at breakfast. Not cool, Domingo! After that episode and 7 days of wondering why, I was finally told that if I wanted tea I needed to order hot water, put it in a mug and microwave it. If I'd have known that from the start, there wouldn't have been any issue at all.
I didn't want my other review to punish the great individuals and praise these two individuals, so I hope the admins will publish both reviews.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff and good amenities and pool! Enjoyed the gym. They had live music in the evenings (stayed Monday- Wednesday) , on site bar and restaurant with good food and loved the comfort of the rooms filled with natural light and a great patio. The breakfast buffet is worth it and amazing! Great for kids and adults. Tons of options🧇🥓☕️🍳🍌🥞

Value for money is good, room was nice with great view. Area is relaxing and not a lot to do. Pool area was great although there is nothing special for kids to do. Also kids pool was closed for some reason. Biggest dissapointment was the FOOD, there is very poor quality. Hopefully they will raise the selection and quality of lunch/dinner. Breakfast was ok. Pizza was the worst we have ever seen and tasted 😅

Very tired looking, but thought we would try as it was on the beach. Waitress was nice but the food was terrible!
