Reviews
Hotel is clean and pleasant.
It is situated on a hill but this is stated on their website so read it through if you need full information on what is available here as it is pet friendly too and yet I have seen people on here saying they wasn't aware of this ??? Again read their website before you book. We have not encountered any issues with this as they only cater for small dog's of which they are well behaved. There is no barking at all, infact, the hotel is very peaceful and quiet with really comfy beds 😀
Rooms are being cleaned daily with fresh towels so no complaints from us regarding this.
Staff are pleasant enough (had no need to communicate besides the obvious on arrival) but no problems there.
Food is not hot tbh but every hotel in Spain I have been to, ( which is many) it's the same but not rocket science to place it in the microwave for few minutes to remedy this.
Overall a pleasant stay inline with all other 4 star hotel's in Spain..
The hill wasn't a problem unless your disabled (or just lazy) if im honest as myself being nearly 60 didn't have any problems with this and neither did a vast majority of pensioners staying there as they were up and down the hill np problem 😉
There is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel to take you to the beach and back if you can't be bothered walking the short distance down the hill.
Some nice bars and cafes just around the corner serving reasonably priced food and drink so if the food in the hotel is not to your taste then cheap enough to eat out.
I would stay here again when visiting benidorm as its just a short distance from main entainment strip so you don't encounter all the noisy hustle and bustle of the nightlife but not far to walk if wanting to go and enjoy all entertainment new town has to offer.
Enjoyable stay at this hotel.
Works was being done outside around the pool, but even though we overlooked the pool there wasn't to much noise. Unfortunately we didnt like the food and found 2 of the small plates for 32 euros was alot. And a vodka and coke was 11 euros which i thought was extortionate. But overall we had a nice stay, and may well be back in a few weeks.
This hotel is genuinely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life.
I’ve never experienced anything like this: the air-con was so weak it was basically hot air, I couldn’t sleep at all. Then at around 2-something in the morning they cut the electricity — absolutely insane.
My daughter who’s not even two years old was sweating and sleeping terribly because of the heat.
The hotel has good facilities a little shop on site, out door pool and bar, indoor pool, gym and Sauna which was unfortunately out of service. But due to end of season there was not much entertainment in the hotel, but there is so much to do and see around the area anyways.
The hotel it’s self is clean and very well put together but the the cleaners were abit of a down fall they came and made the beds and changed the towels but didn’t clean any mirrors whole time we were here and I think that’s a regular occurrence as the mirror had a small blonde hair that I spotted whilst getting ready for a night out. And the floor wasn’t swept or hoovered the whole time as we came back from the beach and had sand all over our feet which continued the whole during of our stay.
The breakfast is a hard no. The hot food I don’t recommend you touch it’s not good at-all but the coffees, fruit, pastries, yoghurts etc all good, plus they serve a beautiful bottle of Cava that you can help yourself too which makes the dry sausages go down a tad easier lol! But you better be up early as it starts from 7:30-10:30 and let’s be honest we’re in Benidorm so I missed it more times then I had it 🤣
Don’t bother when you can get a full English for 3-5€.
The hotel provides a free bus every 10 mins to the beach and back making it easier if you don’t wish to walk up and down killer hill. Time table is at reception. But if your fit you will enjoy the walk.
I would definitely come back to this hotel, beds are comfortable, baths clean, English tv shows on the tv, fridge in the room and lovely fitted wardrobes but no kettle, coffee or milk which is a let down and definitely needs to be put in considering it’s a 4 star hotel but overall I would say a very pleasant stay, staff are friendly, polite and very welcoming with many speaking a little bit of English which helps too.
Thanks for having us and I will recommend to anyone thinking about coming to Benidorm.
Forgot to mention they seem to be quite disability friendly with ramps available instead of use of stairs and a ramp in the indoor pool area also
On a positive note, the breakfast service we paid for was pleasant and offered a decent selection every morning we ate there. The pool itself was clean and spacious, despite there seeming to be a lot of rubbish poolside and in the surrounding areas which wasn’t overly pretty.
The location of the hotel is on an extremely steep hill, so beware if you’re travelling with young children or elderly folk. It wasn’t too bad for us as we’re in our 20’s but we opted for a taxi back up the hill most nights. The hotel is fairly close to the main strip with a 10 min walk inbetween, full of bars, bistros and restaurants.
Overall for our first holiday it was fairly pleasant, we didn’t spend too much time in the hotel as a whole but the time we spent here was okay, definitely has its faults :(
We arrived in the early hours (2am) and were pleasantly surprised by how smooth and hassle-free the check-in process was—quick, friendly, and efficient. The reception area immediately set a positive tone: clean, cool, and welcoming.
Our room was spotless and well-maintained throughout the stay, with daily cleaning and fresh towels provided when needed. The view from our room was absolutely stunning, and the surrounding area was blissfully quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The only minor downside was the air conditioning, which didn’t feel quite as cool as we’ve experienced in other hotels. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker and certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.
Overall, we highly recommend Benidorm East for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept hotel with great service and beautiful views. 🌞
