I visited late September and the hotel is lovely, quiet due to the season but just what I wanted perfect chillax.
The food here in Restaurante Amapola is really good, absolutely loved it.
The staff at the hotel are good friendly and try there hardest to ensure guests are happy.

I stayed at Hotel Bonalba at the beginning of December as a short getaway with my husband. While the hotel is located in a beautiful area, it is very inconvenient if you want to visit the city centre, with Uber trips costing around €30 each way.
Unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing. The lifts felt unsafe, as the doors close immediately when the first person steps inside, and there are no cameras in the lifts or outside the rooms, which made us feel uneasy. The hotel also seemed very understaffed, and many staff members did not speak English, making communication difficult.
As a vegetarian, I found the food options extremely limited. On our last night, dinner was particularly poor due to a large group of around 90 people attending a sports event. Guests who were not part of this group were placed in a small corner while staff focused almost entirely on serving the group. This felt very unfair, especially as we had paid for an all-inclusive package and expected equal service. It’s also worth noting that the all-inclusive package does not include the minibar or snacks such as crisps, which was disappointing.
Overall, this stay was a big let-down and a waste of money. I would not return to this hotel nor recommend it to others.

Fantastic 2 bedroom suite for family of 4.staff friendly- lovely views and balcony from room.-sadly pool closed in October but looked great and I’m sure beautiful in the spring/summer.

Had alot of teething problems at the start of our visit where lots of things went wrong. But hotel really really tried to put things right with some superb staff. Especially "Super" Oscar at the bar and Mayte who helped us sort our taxis for the day. As well as our fabulous shuttle bus driver (sorry cant remember his name) who was really awesome.

Lovely staff in a beautiful mountains area of Alicante
Only issue is it’s around a 25 minute drive out of the city centre but it will cost you around 30 euro for a uber but a great hotel

First time in this hotel. WOW!!! Amazing...Especially a lovely woman in reception called Carla who went over and above to help me and my partner..aged almost 80 and 81..She changed our room to a much better one that was easier for us. Helped with anything we needed. Can't praise her enough..a credit to the hotel. The other receptionist were also helpful and very pleasant. We plan to return hopefully in March. Definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

Staff welcoming, the room acceptable but inadequate for a 4 star hotel as there were mould in bathroom no bathrobe or slippers.. Had to pay the indoor pool again not good enough for a 4 star hotel.. Breakfast very repetitive.. Lovely outdoor pool, Other than that everythingelse was good

I have booking with breakfast and dinner included. Arriving at the hotel they told me that it's not included. Insisting, they agree for the breakfast, but not for the dinner.
I show them the booking, but the "booking manager" decided that it's not included, when it's in the booked and payed.
Finally 2 days after I received the confirmation that I will have a total refund.
Mistake may happen, and it's nice when it's solved quickly.
So thanks.
For info, parking cost 7 € extra, that it's quite fair and OK.

This was my second year visiting the hotel, and once again, the experience was fantastic. The bar staff, especially the two bartenders working the night shift, were incredible. They were always friendly and had a great sense of humor, which made our evenings even more enjoyable.
The beds were amazing—so comfortable that I looked forward to returning to them after a long day. I can’t wait to come back again next year!

Water might be a bit warmer, but not horrible. Would be nice to have warm drinks (normal coffee) in Tikki bar as well.

Excellent golf and great facilities. You must be wearing a collar to play. Proper golf attire is recommended. Greens well kept. Fairways are fair. Bunkers in good condition.

What a shambles!! My husband played in a competition today and paid to attend the evening presentation. When we arrived we were asked if we had booked a table. No one asked if he wanted to book a table! It was a sit down meal so how could they sell him tickets without a seat? There were several people in the same position. Also only bear available at the bar. Wine was at the table - we had no table! I wanted a spirit, only available at the inside bar which was closed

The favourite golf course of our golf society (Albir Golf Society, at Lills bar in Albir) We play a different course each Tuesday and always have a full complement when playing here. The course has a little of everything, challenging par 3's, par 4's that are harder than they look and long par 5's. Well priced and definitely one to visit.
