WOW WOW WOW This is a beautiful small boutique hotel with 5 rooms. We were warmly greeted by the owner Roxanna on our arrival and shown to our beautiful en-suite room SOL with balcony facing the beautiful swimming pool. Every element of this hotel has been finely crafted and the decor is neutral creating a very relaxed room. Then there is the outside pool area with loungers and towels a small honesty bar area creating s very relaxed area to swim or just take in the beautiful property.. Then we meet Augustine what a pleasure. He is responsible for the creation of this beautiful home from home into this beautiful hotel. He is the most amazing cook and his meals in the evening were some of the best meals we had the pleasure of eating whilst staying in the area. From the fabulous sea bass to the most delicious salads created from the best local produce which he shops daily for. The local Rose Cava was exceptional. This hotel is worth a visit and is in a very peaceful location which will allow you to explore the area of Gandia/Oliva with the beach only 10 minutes walk and Valencia only an hour away by train. We felt very lucky to have found this gem of a hotel. The location is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It is hidden away but walking distance from the fabulous beach and bars. The service provided by the hosts is excellent and feels like a welcome home. The honesty bar and pool area makes it seem like a private villa and with only 5 beautiful clean and comfortable rooms it is ideal. The food here is amazing and so much of it 😋. We will definitely return. Thank you

If you are looking for peace and quiet and relaxation, look no further. This gem of a hotel is tucked away but within easy walking distance of the beach and bars. The welcome you receive here is exceptional. Agus and his parents provide a home from home feel and always on hand to provide restaurant recommendations. However if you choose to take advantage of dining here , make sure you are prepared for fantastic food and a lot of it ! We enjoyed a wonderful break here and will definitely return.

What can I say. This place is heaven. From the moment I booked, the communication was excellent. Agus suggested several very good restaurants and even went to the trouble of making reservations for me. The hotel itself is stunning. Set in a residential area but only 5 minutes to a large supermarket and 10 minutes to the beach, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The ‘honesty bar’ is a great idea and allows you to keep drinks/snacks in your own lockable fridge. The bed was comfortable with a powerful shower, great AC and a flat screen tv (Netflix etc)
The bed was made and towels changed every day although there was no bin in the room and the WiFi was a bit intermittent in my room, it was a lot better by the pool.
I had breakfast 3 times which was super fresh and more than enough to get you started for the day. I only had dinner once but this was also delicious.
The only thing I would like to make this experience even better is a pick up service. If you are coming from Valencia airport, you can either get a cab for 80-100 euros or get the train to Gandia which costs less than 15 euros but takes a bit longer. It’s actually a very simple journey but when I got to Gandia, I had to wait 45 minutes for a taxi. I think a pick-up or pre-booked taxi would be great to make the journey a little easier. Maybe this was because it was in August in the height of the season.
I’d highly recommend staying here for a peaceful, relaxing stay and would definitely return. Thank you to the whole team!

Just to be clear - if you like to stay somewhere loud, chaotic with hundreds of other people then La Gastrocasa is not for you! If on the other hand you prefer peace, quiet, lovely hospitality in a great traditional setting then I can highly recommend! Room was nice and modern, cleaned regularly and well equipped. No complaints. Breakfast and dinner are optional but were excellent and on a par with any restaurant and probably better than most. Nice pool with an Honesty Bar where you can help yourself to refreshments. All in all, we had a lovely break and with the beach only being a 10 minute walk away it really was the perfect stay. The experience that my partner and I have lived here has left us speechless. From the moment you cross the threshold of the house, you can see that there is soul and dedication here, affection and care for all the details and the well-being of the guest that make you feel at home and want to stay and live here. Agus and his family put all their professionalism and good work at the service of the most demanding travelers so that quality comfort and rest reign throughout your stay. Cleanliness, silence, attention of 10, absolutely exquisite food and proximity .... a dream pool, a bar in which to consume with confidence where you feel like in the patio of your own house and the feeling when leaving that You have really disconnected from the madding crowd and have recharged your batteries to 100%.... What more can you ask for? I highly recommend trying this experience at least once in your life, and if possible repeat it whenever possible. We leave here with a taste in our mouths that makes us want to return very soon. Many thanks for the professionalism, human warmth and good work of this wonderful family.

Our stay at La Gastrocasa has made our hearts happy. Its concept is very exclusive: Five rooms, only for adults and a lot of relaxation. The spaces are full of details, the rooms are spacious and bright, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, the team is very attentive, the pool area a luxury, its Honesty Bar very pleasant (you consume, write it down and pay at the end of your stay) and the breakfasts/dinners they offer are tasty and with many local products in their different proposals and dishes. In La Gastrocasa you feel at home, and it is not for less since it is a project designed and managed by a family. It is a haven of peace that invites you to return. Highly recommended.
