Hostal Antigua Morellana in Valencia

Lovely place. Centrally located in old city, 200m from Central Markets and Silk Exchange, both great places to visit.

10 mins walk to the cathedral which is beautiful and surrounded by bars and eateries. What more could you want!

We walked to the City of Arts & Sciences in 45 minutes through the park by the dried up river. Nice walk and the buildings are magnificent!

Back to the accomodation. The room was spotlessly clean, air conditioned and serviced every day with clean towels. The staff and family that run it really are friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee is available in the reception area all day along with free pastries in the morning.

I give it 9.5 out of 10....only because there's no kettle in the room and we like Lots of tea. We don't want to be living in the reception area (-:

Great little hotel, centrally located, nice rooms and amenities, lots of old-fashioned charm. The woman who co-owns and manages the place was wonderful--warm, chatty, and extremely helpful with tips. There is a bit of street noise in the evenings, which is inevitable given the prime location, but I liked the security--someone is always on duty at the front desk to unlock the gate to let you enter, night or day. I would definitely stay here again

We have returned 3 times to this lovely family run hotel. It is in the best location for everything too. The owners and staff go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy. Thankyou again

It was a great quaint hotel tucked away in the middle of old València. Room was very clean, great pressure in the showers. Staff was very attentive and accommodating with our needs.

I recently stayed with my daughter at this lovely family run hotel for 3 nights. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk is manned 24x7 so never a concern about misplaced keys! The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the old district, surrounded by cafes, bars, beautiful buildings and plazas. Its only a 10-15 minute walk to the local metro station which provides a perfect and simple journey to the airport 5.8 euro single. The hotel room was clean, modern and just what we needed. The hotel bed was soooo comfortable, ac worked a treat, the shower was powerful. The whole experience deserves a 10/10 . Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you so much.

Lovely, small family run hotel in a great central location. We had a small but comfortable room, with very comfortable twin beds. The bathroom was extremely clean with good fluffy towels and toiletries. The sisters were so helpful with recommendations and directions around the area. Tea/coffee is provided in main reception room with homemade croissants and cake from the sister’s bakery for breakfast - a lovely touch. The hotel is a perfect place to stay for 3-5 nights and we’d definitely stay here again!

Great stay at this lovely, family owned and operated 'traditional hostal' or 1☆ hotel. We wanted for nothing in this spotlessly clean space complete with comfortable beds, a/c, great wifi and a common area with hot and cold drinks and morning pastries. Smack dab in the heart of old town, we stayed for a week and walked or hopped the bus everywhere. Warm and welcoming, the family are delightful and went above and beyond for these light sleepers, rehoming us at a moment's notice and then when our flight was cancelled, didn't miss a beat to ensure we would be housed an extra night. Highly recommended!

This is such a quaint, cute gem of a place right in the middle of old Valencia. Its family owned, very friendly, clean and safe. My teenage daughter and I stayed here for three nights, and I wish we would have stayed longer! We felt very safe and welcome. The location was perfect, it's surrounded by restaurants and shops. Public transport is about 10 min walk and was very easy to navigate to visit the science center and the beach. We absolutely loved Valencia and I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

We loved our stay here! Great location in old town Valencia and close to many of the attractions. The hotel is family run, and the owners are wonderful and helpful. They also own an amazing local bakery just down the street from the hotel. Tea, coffee and fresh pastries are available in the lobby. Room was very comfortable. Would stay here again!
