Hotel SERAWA in Moraira

The concept is nice and the way it has been built is very minimalist and elegant but there are a few improvements that can be made. We went here and stayed 1 night because we were gifted a Spa session at the hotel. Overall speaking, the staff could be more tentative and communicative. We barely saw any staff around and when they were there, they werent very helpful. Starting with the checkin experience, we were only asked at what time we planned to have breakfast and we had to ask about the spa appointment we had but werent given any explanation. The spa itself was fine but for the value of the voucher, it wasnt really worth it. Also one of the saunas wasnt working so we got another voucher to come back once its fixed. For a 4 star hotel, I would have expected a kettle or coffee machine in the room and some slippers/ bathrobes so we could get ready in the room before the spa. Overall cleanliness was lacking in the bathroom of the room. The little details that could have made the experience was lacking. Breakfast for example was fine (not extensive) but they could add labels to the spread i.e. I know what salami/ chorizo is but there were different kinds and no label to tell me what was in it. We also didnt know if we could order eggs freshly made as there simply wasnt anyone around (this was throughout our stay). Overall not sure if I would recommend. Its a nice concept but lacks in execution and service.

We stayed for two nights. The last night was a disappointment. The hotel acknowledged the issue but couldn't find a solution. We did receive a polite email from the manager later. The restaurant staff were fantastic, and Mr. Hassan at the reception desk was a great guy.
