Paraiso del Mar in Nerja

What a gem of a find!! Absolutely lovely little boutique hotel. The owners were wonderful hosts who greeted us like long lost friends. The location is just superb - high above the busy Nerja beach, with sumptuous views. Lovely spa pool and sun loungers positioned at every viewpoint where you can walk down to the beach. Rooms were very boutique and had everything you need. Breakfast was a treat with a selection of fruits, meats and traditional. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I would recommend this hotel for any visitors to Nerja.

For the room, we had a balcony on the second floor and if you stay, we recommend getting those type of rooms. The balcony was lovely because we had a direct view to the beach. It was clean and cleaners came in every day.

The hotel grounds were beautiful. The breakfast area in the hotel patio was absolutely beautiful and one of the best places I’ve had breakfast. The hotel patio had an amazing and unobstructed view to the beach. There is a pretty pool and a jacuzzi. Then, to access the beach, you take this long stairwell to the bottom of the beach. It’s fantastic they have access to the beach on a high cliff but be aware, it’s about 100 steps down/up.

The only thing the hotel was somewhat lacking in quality is the hotel service. I would say it was ok to good. When we arrived, we had to call on the attendant in the back office to help us with checking in. He wasn’t warm and welcoming but just straight to the point. He did not tell us about the hotel amenities or services. He just checked us in and when we asked questions about the town, he answered the questions but it was clear he was ready to end the conversation. Some other hotel representatives were more warm and offered support but we mostly got the same level of attention from other front desk attendants.

The breakfast was very good. It was a buffet and it included eggs, meats, cheeses, bacon, breads, baked goods, fruits, coffee, juices, sweets, and other foods. And you can’t beat the breakfast view and environment.

I thought the price was reasonable for the amazing stay.

Overall, if you’re staying in Nerja, I recommend you staying at this hotel. It was super relaxing and beautiful. We won’t forget our stay.

Top class hotel.
Staff are top class, night porters are on point after a late night. The views from the rooms and/or breakfast are out of this world.

Having a great time here in Nerja. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops and Balcon de Europa.

We went here for breakfast one morning while on holidays. The breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety and the view of the sea from the terrace was just beautiful. Very friendly and helpful also. Would recommend for a nice breakfast with a view.

We stayed as a small family for a week. Very nice little family run hotel. The view is stunning, the staff friendly and the breakfast delicious. Absolutely recommended.

Amazing to be back at Paraiso del Mar. I’d almost forgotten about the absolutely fantastic views over the Mediterranean and Burriana beach. The new owners are gently renovating the property without the hotel losing its charm. All staff are so caring and after a few days here you feel like you have an extended famiky!
