Tips

  • Expect some noise due to thin walls, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Amazing place! Rooms are clean and spacious and workers there are very kind. You have also next to the hotel a restaurant where you can take the lunch, dinner etc. Also there you can celebrate a birthday, wedding o whatever. The food is fresh and delicious. It is in the center of the city, so you can visit all the town on walk. The beach is near, 10 minutes. In santa Pola you can go to the theme park also.

Despite to have 2⭐ the service is really good...the hotel includes breakfast buffet and it has parking lot.

Ok hotel, small rooms and bed pretty rough. People seem to honestly want to help. Only 3* because when you ask where to eat, they tell you their restautant is really good, whilst their food is lacking in flavour and half our fish was still raw inside.

The dirtiest hotel i ever been to. Pub hair al over the bathroom. The bathtub is rusty and they even charge me for 6 days when i only made a reservation. I got pictures too. Dirties hotel i ever been too.

It was ok at the beginning, but encountered a few problems as the days passed . 1- We found the rooms definitely need sound insulation! You can hear if the guests next door (or upstairs) talk, walk, flush the toilet or have a shower. Forget sleeping if thw are habing a loud discussion! Or they are coming back to the room at 2 am. 2- The cleaning was very basic, just the floor, replenish of toiletries etc, and beds made. It looked clean to the eye, but later on we realised that the bed sheets and towels were not changed regularly! We stayed for 2 weeks and on the second week we realised that even though we left the towels in the shower to be replaced, they were not! The same with the bed sheets! 3 - Someone from the cafeteria, a waiter, told me off because my husband sat down in the main cafeteria drinking his own milkshake (not from the cafeteria) even though he ordered a toasted sandwich and waa waiting while it was being prepared . This waiter talked to me instead of to my husband (Im asuming because I speak Spanish and I was translating for my husband with the staff at the bar) but he got very close to my face and was not discreet at all. So everyone from the cafeteria was looking at me, and I was not even the one drinking the milkshake! 4 - We were not given the a/c machine control until we went to reception one day to ask how could we change the settings, as it was still quite hot in the room. But the control didn't work. We just gave up. 5- One afternoon there was a strong smell of marihuana on the 1st floor. The receptionist did not seem bothered when I called to let them know. 6- I did not feel the receptionists were taking our concerns and complaints seriously (cafeteria waiter, a/c, marihuana smell, noise, etc)
7- When I booked our room, I requested a cot-bed for my baby. They didnt have one available on check-in. So I searched for a second hand one. I found one and asked the seller if I could rent it instead of buying it, as I would not be able to take it with me as a luggage on my flight. I explained my situation with the hotel. The seller was very kind and flexible and trying to be helpful, he said that perhaps I could leave it in the hotel if they would be interested in another cot-bed, as they seemed to be in need of more cot-beds. He said he would try and talk to the hotel managers and see if they would be interested in buying it from him (really cheap just 20€. The hotel charges 6€x day for a cot-bed). At the end of my stay, I did contact the seller again as I did not hear from him and he said he did not contact me before because he did not want to give me bad vibes. Apparently he was treated really badly over the phone by the hotel manager, who instead of realising that this man was trying to help me and also the hotel, thought that he was some professional seller of some kind trying to make sales.
I have realised that even if they were not interested, theu could have responded to this man in a different way, more professionally. Same as with the waiter thay approached me in the cafeteria. The staff at this hotel lacks professionalism and customer service.
8- When doing the check out, the receptionist did not say a thing to me, and I left the key, she just typed in the pc and answered a phone call. My taxi arrived and my family and I left.
Won't be coming back! Im afraid I cannot recommend this hotel unless if you are just staying for a couple of nights, as there is not much choice in Santa Pola, otherwise another option would be to stay in the Team Alacant area.
Ps: the description on Google needs updating. The hotel's breakfast costs 7€ x person for buffet. You are better off at any of the numerous cafes in the area for 3€x person for breakfast.

Receptionist was rude from the moment we arrived no good afternoon .Just seemed to stand outside and smoke all the time.
Would not help with wifi when we asked for Ice she gave 3 ice cubes in a glass. More like a hostel than hotel .I actually left at 0645 am .Also on arrival no lift working no offer of help with bags.Shame because Santa Pola is beautiful .
Stuart
Friendly basic hotel but the walls are a bit thin

The only decent hotel in Santa Pola and very moderately priced on top of that. If you look for a place to stay in the city centre this is where to go.
