There is a very good job, and it works very well, and I have a very good understanding of everyone who works there.

Very good attention and service. At least for now, it's quite reasonable.

During our recent visit to the hotel, we traveled as a group of three, consisting of my wife, her grandmother, and myself. Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome at the reception, and our request for two rooms close together was successfully accommodated. My wife’s grandmother had a single room, while we were assigned a double room. Both accommodations were situated at the back of the hotel, offering views of the Town Hall and its surrounding green space, but on the other side of a main road and the back working area and concrete car park of our hotel, was less visually appealing compared to the front views that overlooked the pool and outdoor lounge area. The hotel provided daily entertainment led by an energetic host named Paula, and we enjoyed a variety of evening performances throughout our stay. As a vegetarian, I noted that the food options could be improved. There was minimal food labeling, with brief descriptions provided but no clear indication of which dishes were suitable for meat-free or gluten-free diets. I communicated my dietary needs to the reception staff, who assured me they would address this with the kitchen. I suggested implementing a labeling system to mark suitable dishes with a 'V' for vegetarian or 'VG' for vegan, which seemed to be well-received, but unfortunately, this change was not made during our stay. Ideally, the hotel should offer at least one vegetarian and one vegan main dish daily, preferably two. Initially, I found a couple of suitable meals, which gave me hope for the options; however, by the end of the week, my choices were mostly limited to side dishes and cheese, making it challenging to find adequate meals without negotiating for special requests. While the building showed some signs of needing refurbishment, it was generally well-maintained. I was surprised by the poor fit of our room door, but since we were located at the end of the corridor, it did not cause significant disturbances. I would also advise caution regarding the glass room dividers. On a positive note, the staff were largely exceptional, dedicating themselves to ensuring our comfort. However, my wife’s grandmother experienced an unfortunate incident with a kitchen staff member, who expressed displeasure when she seemingly placed a serving utensil in the wrong location. The staff member reacted by slamming the utensil down and saying, “I saw you.” We reported the incident to the restaurant manager, who was very apologetic. It is worth noting that this staff member primarily had limited customer interaction, as they mostly worked behind the scenes in the kitchen.

2nd visit and yet again everything was great. Welcomed with a lovely friendly professional manner resulting in some good banter. Checking in is a breeze and love that the wristband is also your room key. The hotel is totally Spotless staff are cleaning 24/7. The food and drink is totally amazing so much choice being replenished immediately 😍 snacks i between meals even in the evening whilst entertainment is on. Adult only Location to old and new town is perfect. Rooms are bright and beautiful. The glass partition at the sink area needs the small white stool putting next to it otherwise when you go to the toilet in the night it gets walked into on the way back to your bed as you cant see it . The stool helps to prevent it. Looking forward to another visit next year 😀. Fully Recommend this hotel.

Very warmly greeted by Angela on reception, and also found Lina extremely helpful and efficient, again on reception. Our room was kept spotless, and was very comfortable. (A trip from a previous TripAdvisor suggested bringing with some inexpensive plastic suction hooks for the "glass wall" between the sink and the room to hang up articles like lightweight towels and bags; we did this and it worked very well!) We found the food excellent, with plenty of choice, and of good quality. The restaurant is clean, bright and airy, and all the restaurant staff are just excellent. Overall, we had a great 10 days at the Agua Azul.

My wife and myself had the pleasure of staying at the Agua Azul for 21 nights from the 18th of March until the 8th of April. Our stay was in room number one with a pool view. We are frequent travellers and visit Spain around 4 to 5 times per year. This was our third visit the the Agua Azul so parts of this review may repeat things said in previous reviews. My wife and myself like to visit Benidorm for a long stay once a year. Benidorm has beautiful walks, nice shops to visit and makes a welcome escape away from UK weather. We changed our hotel to the Agua Azul three years ago and still have no regrets in doing so. It does offer a superior product. The Azul is centrally located and excellent for visiting both the old and new town. Also very easy to get to the beach and enjoy walks there. It has to be said that the Agua Azul more than holds its own against other hotels we visit during the year and is better than most (many of which are more expensive). Check in was fast, friendly and efficient. We were allocated room number one with a pool view and were in the room very quickly. The reception area is well managed, all staff we encountered were friendly, polite and efficient. Always dealing effectively with any queries we had. To be honest we did not have to use reception very much. Perhaps a couple of questions and changing pool towels. Pool towels can be obtained at reception for a 20 euro deposit, they can be changed and deposit returned at end of stay. Towels were good quality. For us it is the sign of a good hotel when you don't have to go to reception much as it indicates the hotel is running smoothly. We did pass by reception when it was very busy and extra staff members were helping out to bring the que down including the manager. Our room was very nice overlooking the pool as we had requested. It got the sun in the afternoon so was lovely to sit there on the beds provided in the afternoon. Obviously with a beer! The room has everything you need. Good beds, decent storage for our stay, sofa, free safe, fridge. As stated in previous reviews I like the way the toilet and shower area is laid out. Yes it uses glass but it is modern, makes the best use of space and available light. There is absolutely no impact on privacy either in the shower or the toilet. The toilet is set well back from the door so no one can see you. The room was cleaned every day to a very high standard, clean towels and bedding changed frequently. I think the main cleaner for the room was Victoria who worked so hard, did an amazing job and was so friendly. She never failed to say hello and ask us how we were doing. She has very good customer service skills which did make a pleasant difference to our stay. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in room. Not a fan of paper cups at all. Perhaps potential for accidents with boiling water?! Did not impact our enjoyment though. On positive side the coffee sachets provided in room were

The Agua Azul is an ideal location very near to the old town. we are pensioners so this hotel suited us not for the party goers. The rooms were spacious plenty of hanging space and a free safe. Tea and coffee in the room and a fridge. The hotel is very clean and rooms done daily with fresh towels supplied each day. Friendly staff. The food was good ample choice and always served hot. We had a pool view well worth a bit extra because after breakfast the balcony had the sun until after lunch. The entertainment was ok but it would have been nice if there was a separate lounge seated area rather than only the large entertainment hall. We enjoyed our 10 day stay and would return to this hotel

This is the 3rd visit. It’s still really good, yet the food has declined a little. Drinks are spot on and hotel is good standard. However the water pressure on 6th is not great.

Loved our 5 night stay overall as a couple! The room was small but the beds were huge! 2 “singles” pushed together as standard in Europe but these singles were very large singles! Mattresses were soft but firm, very comfortable with extra blankets in the wardrobe incase you got chilly (like myself!). For reference I’m 5’7 & 9.5 stone. Plenty wardrobe space to store clothes. Downside, it was very….open plan! No separate bathroom, shower was a shower in your room basically! Glass divider between the basin, shower & the bed. Regardless I’m not precious & thankfully very comfortable with my partner! The wc was its own room next to the shower with a sliding door…that slides open hahah You have to scan the barcode on the table in the room to get the food schedule (breakfast 8-10:30, lunch 1-3:30pm, dinner 7-9:30pm) Turns out during the gaps between breakfast/lunch & lunch/dinner there are snacks you can have eg pizza, burgers, sandwiches but I didn’t know this til 3 days in, you’ve gotta venture into the dining area to get these. Also annoying when you go for dinner, there’s only a water machine available for self service If you want a drink you’ve gotta wait at the bar (2 bartenders) before you go in. Also remember to scan your room key! Which is your wrist band (amazing idea!!!) Food was varied- different options every night but also very samey…and hilariously British! Beef pie, battered fish, oh yes & you’ve gotta push your way in if you want some chips!! Despite the photos there were no deviled eggs only hard boiled The food was, I’d say good Not fantastically amazing but everyone has their own tastes and I loved not having to prepare my own salad and just having to select pre prepared salad! The hotel was very clean! The staff, on reception, cleaning, bar were all so lovely and welcoming & friendly! I cannot emphasize how good the frontline staff were, always went above and beyond to look after you One downside was, the rooms have tiled floors, so you could always hear it when people were moving furniture on their balcony or when the rooms were being cleaned. Definitely a minor annoyance but worth mentioning. The sun loungers are very close together, it’s not a huge space around the pool. There are “no reserving sunbeds” notices with warnings towels would be removed but from my balcony I could see people returning to the hotel (at midday) then getting on their reserved beds with towels on them since 9am. Was tempting to go remove towels and claim the reserved bed but alas, there were always beds free albeit very close together so really worth throwing elbows with someone 30years my senior & twice my weight bracket. The outside bar/pizza/burger bar was closed, not sure why maybe out of season. Not an inconvenience as my legs still work and could walk inside to get a drink. Reception staff were AMAZING however they were on their own, it takes time to check people in/out deal with queries AND answer the phone. Hotel management shoul
