Hotel Natursun in Torremolinos

Start with the cons -
•BED BUGS - thankfully we checked the room thoroughly before we slept/put anything on the bed.
• breakfast and dinner - very very poor choice. For breakfast I had toast, dinner I had chips. We went elsewhere every other day due to the food being so poor. You can’t get anything other than water at dinner (and we weren’t sure we could drink it as it’s served in a jug) at breakfast you can get coffees (taste burnt out a machine), orange juice and pineapple juice.
• NO BAR - there is no bar at this hotel. There is a vending machine with some miniatures.
• very noisy- you can hear everything, all day and all night.
• Pool (more like a puddle really) - pool is very small, located right at the entrance so everyone can see you. It looks like a roof top pool in pics, it is not.

PROS -
•upon reporting to reception about the bugs (keep in mind it’s 1am at this point), the lovely man came up to the room to double check, agreed and straight away went to find us another room. Unfortunately at this time the only available room is what I would describe as a staff room, but we were grateful to get out of the bed bug room.
• after that night, we went to reception early morning and they had a room ready for us - an upgraded one with sea view. It was nice and relatively clean.
• Air con - all the rooms have air con, controlled with a remote.
• laundry airers - all rooms have small airers on the balcony’s.
• Staff - staff are helpful and friendly.
• location - in an ideal location with the centre around 20 min walk, beach/plaza 8-10 mins. Just keep in mind the hotel is up hill, with certain routes taking you up multiple sets of stairs.

Overall, we would not stay here again. Mostly based on the bugs and food. It’s a shame as the hotel has such potential to be amazing but it really is more like a hostel.
