Vive Costa Azul in Benalmadena

We have stayed at this accommodation several times. This time we stayed from 23.9.-1.10., i.e. 8 nights. We had booked a normal studio apartment and got apartment 109 on the ground floor. The next day we asked to change the apartment to a Deluxe apartment, which we had previously stayed in. However, they were not available and we had to change to a spacious family apartment number 312. Problems: 1) The train station right next door, where trains came and went every 10-20 minutes, disturbing our sleep. 2) Another problem was a large ant colony, small ants everywhere. The reason for this is probably inadequate cleaning. Last time we had the same problem. 3) Cleaning in general is insufficient, every other day was said, but it did not happen for us. 4) There was moldy silicone in the toilets, which could be easily repaired. Moldy removed and new ones replaced. There is a maintenance man who could renew these silicones. Positive: 1) Parking spaces for the car on the ground floor of the building 2) Location near the train station 3) Heated pool 4) Breakfast available, although the offer is modest 5) Rooms spacious 45-55 m2

Couple of things to bear in mind to improve

Parking is extra 10 euro a night which wasnt stated before hand and hard to find the parking aswell. Only 1 pillow offered in the room per person and walls paper thin. Except for that was clean
