Check in was fast and efficient, nice warm welcome. We were very tired, arrived in the evening, once we'd freshened up we had a meal in the restaurant, sitting out in front of hotel. Pleasant waiting staff, standard food, large portions.
Clean and comfortable room, two wide twin beds pushed together. The hotel is on the main road, so fairly noisy, but we kept the balcony doors shut and noisy was not a problem. The rooms face east, but there are black out curtains for the morning.

Central hotel within easy walk of the cathedral etc. Restaurant at the side is very good value and nice food. Rooms are spacious and en-suites are modern with large shower cubicles. The strange thing was the lack of milk in the room- they provide a kettle, teas, coffee, sugar & sweetener but just give you 2 very small milk portions for when you arrive. Asked at reception on evening 1 for extra milk but he said he didn’t have any. On day 2 the coffee and tea were replenished but this time no milk! Asked at reception when we hot back in the afternoon and the guy said he would have to ask his boss who he proceeded to ring. More milk was granted and the guy said he would bring them to the room. 10 minutes later he arrived with just 2 of the small portions- unbelievable! We went across to Aldi and bought a fresh litre but had trouble keeping it cold as no fridge in the room. The milk issue was not major but very annoying as can’t understand the thinking!

Two things can be highly recommended here: the full blast of AC, which, unlike in other provincial Spanish towns, is completely in the guest’s control, and the cleanliness of the rooms, with a very efficient cleaning staff. The front desk is very helpful, the WiFi is decent and there’s a laundromat right next door, for long time travelers. The main problem is its distance from the center of town…a good twenty minute walk which can be very unpleasant in the summer time, and it’s even farther to the bus and train stations. Also, the attached restaurant is not very good, so getting a meal involves a long walk.

We used this hotel for an overnight stop on our way from Zaragoza to Almeria airport (picking someone up).

Did not arrive till gone 9pm, but restaurant still open, had a great meal and some well deserved beers.

Great find, very welcoming staff, everything in the room you would need and a great shower.

Didn't visit the hotel, just the restaurant and had a menu del dia with which we were very happy.
