Most of the staff we interacted with seemed moody and not very welcoming, and the hotel overall feels old-fashioned and tired. We now have to spend two more nights in this downgraded room, and I feel very disappointed. Sadly, we would not return.
Staff at front desk were friendly, helpful & spoke english. I loved roaming around central Barcelona knowing I’d be going back to my cozy room at night. Also, extra points for the slippers!
I’d definitely stay in their Madrid branch if I visit.
No great view for basic rooms
Also service could be better. I came to the hotel with my wife, booked a room a few days before but there was no additional set of towels.
Also in our 3 night stay we received only 1 bottle of water
We booked a "regular" room, which seemed to be one with a window facing nothing. It was dark all day (had to google the weather) and not sure what would happen in case of a fire.
I recommend to make sure you select a room facing the outside.
