Hostal Balmes Centro in Barcelona

First of all, it has nothing to do with the Balmes Hotel next door. I have stayed there before and it was perfect. This is a hotel run by Indians without a sign. As soon as I entered the door in a dark and smelly old building, I felt that I had stepped into a pit. The front desk was Indian. The elevator was roaring, there was no water or paper towels in the room, the facilities were very old and I didn't dare to sit on the sofa. The air conditioner was resonating with the window at night, and there was only one socket in the whole room, which was on the balcony. The most hateful thing was that there was a sanitary napkin on each floor that could not be distinguished between dry and wet. The one on the second floor was broken and locked. There was one for 16 rooms on two floors. It was a girl putting on makeup. I spent 2 hours queuing to go to the toilet. The Indian at the front desk was unapologetic and took it for granted. After traveling for so many years, this is the biggest pitfall I have stepped into.
