One night, around midnight, there was a power outage while I was showering. Power was restored quickly, but there was no cold water, so I had to make do with hot water. The restaurant was excellent, though not cheap

Perfect weekend at Alma Hotel in Barcelona with my wife. Excellent service from check-in to departure – staff attentive and efficient. Room was spacious, modern, clean, with a comfy bed and great rain shower

The location is perfect — right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the sights, shops, and vibrant streets of Barcelona. The breakfast here is beyond amazing

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, though the pillows were either too high or too low. The hairdryer was subpar, so you might want to bring your own

Spa was perfect, relaxing and top-notch. Prime Eixample location: close to Gaudí sites and dining, yet peaceful. Overall a great hotel – highly recommend

I absolutely love staying at Alma Hotel in Barcelona! This was my second time here, and I’m already counting down the days until my third visit

The elevator is small and only fits two people with two bags. We each had two bags that bellman had to bring up in another elevator. Room 705 is a good size, no view out the window, but that worked for use

Hotel was at the central place to go around, very easy to connect by bus or train. The room was clean and all amenities,, room size was big . breakfast was good too , overall enjoyed.

Walking distance from Casa Mila, Casa Vicen, and all other main tourist spots. Very accessible, nice staffs, breakfast included as well. They only have few options for breakfast though, mostly breads and eggs

Need a few more bathroom amenities like shower cap, vanity set, and 4 towels per room. Four pillows per bed please. Breakfast is good but need to label vegetarian and gluten free. Coffee good.

It's just 5 minutes away from Thanksgiving Avenue. There's a bus stop at the door. The front desk is friendly and professional. Toothbrushes, slippers, etc. are provided in the room. I think it's very good.

! I was tired from traveling, but I was able to rest well! The breakfast was also delicious with a wide variety of options! I'd like to stay here again!

I was initially worried the room might feel cramped, but the space was incredibly well utilized. Despite being in the city center, it was surprisingly quiet – the soundproofing on the glass balcony door was excellent

The rooftop bar and pool are relatively small but good enough for a convenient sunbathing

Supermarkets and tapas bars & restaurants are also nearby. I stayed at the Junior Suite, which is bright and spacious with a balcony. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful

Plus, there were plenty of mirrors, which was super convenient for getting ready! It's also within walking distance of Casa Batlló and the luxury shopping street

The pool, food, cocktails, service and our room were fabulous - I was a little concerned after some of the reviews but we had a fantastic experience. I would love to go back tomorrow!

I spent a few hours at the hotel for a business reception and was very impressed. Just a few minutes outside of the city, it feels like a countryside resort. The food was truly excellent, and the variety impressive

Pool delightful but building a sauna at the moment, so not peaceful, beautiful, never the less. Food here is some of the best I have ever tasted, and I am a worldwide traveller, compliments to your chefs

It's close to town but just further enough away to be away from the hussle and bussle. The cable cart from the beach stops at the hotel. The staff couldn't be more helpful and Daniel went above and beyond

We stayed for four nights and had an incredible time. The hotel is immaculate and the grounds are beautiful. It is hilly walking there but the views and quiet are worth it

This is a beautiful hotel and has a super location. The room was so clean and I was given a free bottle of wine on arrival which was a lovely touch. The reception staff are so friendly

Two giant bugs found their way into the room. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Some noise issues with the windows so make sure to bring earplugs if not a sound sleeper

The hotel has an excellent location, rich breakfast options, and the room is clean, refreshing, comfortable and quiet!

Overall a good hotel, friendly staff, beautiful lobby. The rooms are also quite large overall, so I recommend it.

-Warning to others! There were wheels at the feet of the separate beds and we fell between the beds ourselves while watching the movie, fortunately nothing happened to either of us😬 we survived with a scare and a laugh😅🙏

Feeling pretty good about this one, definitely an option to consider. Giving it five stars because my last stay at a Four Points by Sheraton near Barcelona Airport was quite dirty, so this is a much better choice

Plus, they offer a free shuttle service. No need to book for transfers from the airport to the hotel; just ask Ctrip customer service, and they'll tell you the pick-up spot. It seems to run about every half hour

They also provide free drop-offs to the airport; just remember to tell the front desk the night before. Very convenient! If I need to transit through Barcelona again, I'd choose this hotel

The hotel's environment and facilities are great. There's a free gym available for workouts, and the view from the window is beautiful. The front desk staff was very nice; they even let me check in over an hour early

The breakfast was also good, and they offer an airport shuttle, which makes it a great choice if you have an early flight the next morning

Being in the city center, it's a 10-15 minute walk or less than a 20-minute taxi ride to any famous restaurant or tourist attraction. There's also an eyewear store and the famous churros spot, Xurreria, near the hotel

The location was great, near Plaça de Catalunya and right in front of the Barcelona Cathedral. I think this is a better option than some of the awkwardly overpriced places.

If I ever come back to Barcelona, I'll definitely book the same room again. Above all, I'm really grateful to Marco and the other hotel staff for arranging a room with a direct cathedral view

That's a quiet and well-located hotel, we were there in October and all was fine, the staff were lovely and welcoming, breakfast was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended!

The breakfast, which for our booking was "mandatory/not optional" (although with some bookings this is clearly not the case), was standard Spanish fare, although it does vary in terms of the grill options day-to-day

The Tram route is only 5-10 minutes away from the other side of Diagonal Mar shopping mall. It is about 30 minutes walk from Glories shopping mall. The rooms were clean and generally well furnished

While I didn’t consistently find the staff to be especially attentive or warm, I do want to highlight the front desk attendant who helped us at checkout

Guy at counter couldn't seem to tell that my booking was already pre-paid even though it said so right there. And now hotel appears to have charged me in error for the booking, which I'll need to fight to get refunded

The room was lovely, the staff very friendly and attentive, the hotel bar was very well stocked and we were served by knowledgeable bartenders, the location is first-rate for access to many local attractions and the food from the restaurant, both at breakfast and the couple of evenings we ate at the hotel, was perfect

The hotel's overall environment exceeded my expectations. It's located just off the end of Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by many delicious tapas bars and great brunch spots

The hotel even boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant! Highly recommended! Barcelona is a very clean city and perfect for shopping; all the luxury boutiques offer excellent service

It's about a 10-minute drive to the Sagrada Familia and a 10-minute walk to the Gothic Quarter, and there's a famous fountain nearby. The subway is a 1-minute walk away. The hotel is clean and has a small balcony

We booked a Classic queen room but we got a double and were told only have king and double rooms and no kings available. Booked the hotel as it had a pool but on arrival noticed pool closed for maintenance

I do wish there were some sun-beds in the shade or with some parasols next to them as I didn’t want to always sit in direct sun but wasn’t another option. Or even some away from the pool area

The location is convenient for us, near train station. The bed is so/so, but once you have removed the top-deck it sleeps well. Breakfast is good.

So I would recommend this and wish there was more reviews about it. The pool is a great plunge pool for sitting in and relaxing it was deep enough to sit and be mostly submerged

The room wasn't big, but it was very clean. It was very close to the station, with a bus stop right outside the door. It was also close to the L3 subway station, and there were a Consum and Macadona supermarkets nearby.

The check-in process was smooth, and we were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing drink. The hotel's modern, stylish decor and the clean, comfortable atmosphere immediately set a positive tone for our stay

I did not get a chance to utilize the pool or other insight amenities, but look forward to that on my next visit

It is an excellent location only a 25 min walk to the beach, right by the Arc de Triumph, and within walking distance of many attractions and excellent restaurants

Not only was Hotel Catalonia Born able to find us two rooms (last minute) at 6:30 pm one evening, the rooms and hotel were within our budget, super clean, quiet and located in a fantastic area of Barcelona

Attentive staff and very clean, the rooftop bar and pool is was the highlight of this hotel.

The bathroom has a very spacious shower, a separate toilet and a sink with two faucets. Security seems a bit lacking: we were able to walk straight to our room without anyone asking us anything

The hotel is located on Plaza Cataluna: many shops, restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is great: spacious, beautiful and very luxurious

In this hotel everything is good. Clean. Pleasant staff. A decent repair. Good restaurant. Quiet location and the beach are within walking distance. The only minus-we got a room with shabby furniture.

The toilet is big and spacious. The hair dryer wasn't powerful enough and was in a weird position. The facilities are rather old, far away from the city, and the cost performance is not good enough.

I spent a day in Barcelona this time and booked a hotel last minute — it was not far from Casa Milà, and the whole area had a pretty chill vibe! The room was spacious, and the bookshelves on both sides of the bed were simply and beautifully arranged

The breakfast was really good (with natural juices) as well as the atmosphere that Monica and Moises are giving to the place. Always with a sincere smile and willing to help

Great and convenient location, in the corner of the Magic Fountains, and although not in the middle of the main attractions, it is close enough to metro, to tourist bus stops, or even by a short walk enjoying the city

We stayed at the Petit Palace for a couple of nights thinking it was a four star hotel as described. It’s a nice hotel, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think it rises to the four star level. It’s a nice three star though
