This is probably one of the best located SPG properties in Barcelona. While the W might be trendy and on the beach, Le Meridien is located in the Gótic quarter along La Rambla.

Le Méridien Barcelona is a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the service is genuinely lovely - warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay

The rooms are extremely dated and look like they haven’t seen a refurbishment in decades. In my room, the wardrobe door wouldn’t close and the heating didn’t work at all

2) The room was very worn in general; things like the carpet were very old and stained and there was dirt and dust inside the minibar fridge. 3) The spa facility was tiny and not entirely functional

We hosted an offsite there and the catering was well handled, with the team clearly making an effort to accommodate our needs

The hotel itself was excellent in every way — from the clean and comfortable rooms to the great service. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to other

I specifically checked out the 173 Rooftop on the top floor – it's a fantastic spot for an evening, with great views and delicious food that didn't disappoint at all

The hotel is very conveniently located for getting around, with taxis often parked right outside the entrance. The room was also very spacious.

The rooftop terrace had a superb view, perfect for enjoying cityscapes and relaxing with a drink. The hotel's public areas were grandly designed, and the cleanliness and maintenance lived up to InterContinental standards

Their professionalism and sincerity demonstrated their care for guests, and their responsible spirit is truly admirable. Though the outcome was a bit disappointing, I genuinely felt their efforts

The service was professional and attentive; both the concierge and front desk staff were responsive and paid attention to details. Breakfast offered a rich selection and consistent quality

I stayed in the Level part of this hotel. Staff is super kind and helpful. Breakfast really good as well. It will be definitely my choice for yhe next visit in Barcelona. Also the 25th floor lounge is a great add-on

Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including a casual bar, and directly across the street is a large Carrefour supermarket, making daily shopping, dining, and strolling incredibly convenient

The room was spacious and I had a balcony overlooking the main shopping street. The spa was quiet and had sauna, steam room and a warm dipping pool. As a hotel guest, you get to use the spa for 45 minutes

One of the highlights of the hotel is the rooftop, which features both a pool and a bar. It’s a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing, enjoy a drink, and take in the city atmosphere

The hotel was okay. You have to pay for the sauna and pool, but it's only about 20 Euros, so that's fine. It feels quite new, but the room was a bit scuffed; you could see some peeling paint.

As a solo traveler, I felt safe and had the best experience ever! The rooftop bar and pool area were super chic

The hotel was close to a variety of good restaurants, coffee shops, Gaudi’s Casa Mila (4 min) and Case Batllo (12 min) and both are both within walking distance of the hotel

Only minor complaint are the light switches were believe or not very confusing and you had to figure out how they worked. It was like a secret code lol

I mentioned to the front desk that I was on my honeymoon in Spain, but they couldn't switch my room (even though the room next door was empty). If I wanted a higher floor, I would have to pay extra

A very high quality hotel situated in an advantageous location for a wide choice of options to visit. We were able to walk to most of the features attractions - La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia to name only two

Zero noise through the night, very comfortable bed and plenty of comfy pillows, has a great pool which is rare in a big city, lovely staff, breakfast buffet is spot on and great location for the Ramblas and metro and buses

We could not have been happier! We booked a Superior room, but were silently upgraded to a Deluxe room with a view of the pool and the courtyard. The room was quite large, beautifully renovated, with a great bathroom

The hotel is a little far from the town but is ok if you have a car. They is free parking arpund too but beware do not leave belonging in the car. The hotel look better than the picture

Was here for my honeymoon with my wife and it it was clean, perfect and the spa was amazing! Breakfast was delicious and always varied every day! Bed was super comfy and pillows were too! Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Barcelona!

I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Barcelona. It's super convenient with the metro and train stations just downstairs, about 100 and 200 meters away respectively

But here, if you just tell the front desk, you can move your bags into the new room the next day – it's brilliant! There's also a small rooftop pool with a pretty nice view

What's really important is that normally in Europe, if you're changing rooms, you can't move your luggage in early and have to repack everything and wait until check-in time

You can get to all the sights and the airport really easily. It's in a proper residential area, and while it might not look as upscale as the Eixample, it feels very safe

The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere. However, if you're hailing a taxi, you'll need to walk a bit, and Uber isn't always reliable during peak hours

This hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Camp Nou, which is incredibly convenient for catching a game. It's also very close to a subway station and has a supermarket nearby

The hotel lobby looks new and modern but rooms need some renovations. Lift was shaky too🥲 Toilet has bathtub. As it support sustainability, amenities are available upon request

During the Spanish audiovisual exhibition, this was a decent choice given I didn't book in advance.

They all spoke fluent english and accommodated to our room needs upon arrival. The gym was really nice, spacious and quiet. It had so many clean towels ready for use

Rooms are so spacious and aesthetic. The bathroom was lovely except we couldn’t tell whether it was shampoo or shower gel provided in the shower as there was no label

The terrace was really beautiful at night as its located in a more city environment and you can see a nice skyline of the city

It would take us around 15/25mins to get to the main tourist attractions such as the beach, la rambla, la sagrada etc

The location is decent, right next to Sagrada Familia. The hotel breakfast is quite mediocre; I couldn't stomach it after three days. Booking through a platform means no SNP points.

The room was spacious and the decor felt very new. The 360-degree observation deck on the top floor was a fantastic bonus.

Although we walked there and back, we felt uneasy doing so because the streets are not too well lit and it's a bit far from La Rambla

Had the pleasure of staying at this hotel from 9/17-9/20/2025 and everything was phenomenal! Check in was quick, and when we arrived we were given a nice glass of cava. The room was perfect for what you need it for

There is a pool, but it's a bit of a gimmick, and we wouldn't have felt comfortable using it with people at the bar. The room was beautiful, very well cleaned every day and a great design

The shower head had little pressure ,being the highest room. Staff very friendly and everything very clean. The area where the hotel is in the old town and poorer and we were told to be careful with pickpockets

Lovely clean rooms with everything needed, comfy bed, adjustable room temp etc. We added breakfast to our 4 night stay and found a great selection of food

They come at about 10-11 am every day, you can always ask them for something specific like don't make the bed, but wash the floor - no problem

If smth does not work, just tell the reception - they'll send someone to fix it soon enough. The staff is kind and friendly
