The pool area is all that is needed, it is a beautiful place to sit outside, cool off with a quick swim, and just relax

We loved our short stay at Hotel Zenit! The staff were very friendly, the location was convenient but quiet, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. It’s the top of our list for the next time we’re in the city!

The rooms are perfect, with a window that can be opened to allow fresh air in, beds and pillows are very comfortable. The building is well furbished and is really nice

Nice traditional location in Barcelona Enjoyed the stay, housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. Room was older style, a bit tired but clean with small balcony to street. Traditional area was nice. Would stay again.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Rooms would benefit from a refresh/updating, but pretty clean except a few hairs in the bathroom, otherwise comfortable night sleep and does the job for conference stay.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The room was clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. We stayed here while sightseeing, and it made our trip easy and very enjoyable. 👍

It was manageable for two people with two large suitcases, but we did need to rearrange a bit of furniture to make it work comfortably. That said, it was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great experience

I doubt if there is a better buffet breakfast in Barcelona. It was absolutely superb! The hotel itself is ideally located between the Marina and the Gothic quarter

There are bus / tube links nearby that serve the rest of the city. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful with any enquiry I might have

Breakfast was good missed my morning cappuccino as they just had a Nespresso type machine with the pods. They did have a nice array of items for breakfast

The location is very convenient, close to Gràcia Avenue, but it's a 10-minute walk to Casa Batlló. Our room had a balcony, so it was a bit noisy at night, but the bedding was very comfortable

The service and location are first-class! Because the hotel could not provide the room type I booked, they gave me a slightly smaller room and took the initiative to refund 30% of the paid room fee to Trip

Lots of restaurants, bars, bakeries and cafes on La Ramblas and more authentic places to eat along the side streets away from the main tourist areas. Quick and easy check in, reception staff were welcoming and helpful

The bathroom is a reasonable size with complementary shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast has a variety of things to eat and drink plus hot options. There are a couple of lounge areas to sit and relax near reception

A little hard to find, but spectacular. We were lucky to have a room with a balcony facing the Main Street. The breakfast was out of this world. Better than your traditional American continental breakfast

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants, shops, the Gothic Quarter, and public transportation. Everything felt walkable, which made exploring incredibly easy

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly, and the rooftop terrace is very cozy. The rooms were always cleaned very early, which was great if you arrived at the hotel early in the afternoon

The roof top pool with views towards the Cathedral was a real treat and the hotel is extremely well positioned in terms of sites and restaurants etc

Best service I’ve had from a hotel ever. Simo is the probably the nicest concierge in all of Barcelona.  Helped me locate my lost phone.  Would recommend to all travelers, well worth the money.

If you have time, it is recommended to go to the rooftop swimming pool on the 6th floor to feel the sunset, and don't forget to get welcome champagne from the bar!

We had a fabulous time at the Hotel Catalonia Magdalena in Barcelona. The hotel had a great location in the Bari Gothic quarter a block away from Via Laietana. Easy access to shopping and restaurants and transportation

The hotel is in a great location, and it is very convenient to go to the city center attractions. The room is not bad, and the hotel service is also OK. When I entered the room, I found that it was a king-size bed room

The hotel has a pool and a good location. The duvet in the room was a bit stuffy, but everything else was fine.

It was our first time in Barcelona and this was a great choice. The location is great but also not very busy/ touristy. Nearby you have a lot of small bakeries to have your morning coffee and sandwich

The rooms are spacious and clean. The personnel is very helpful. At the check out, we were offered to store our bags and pick them up later ( we had our flight in the evening)

Wonderful staff very nice and extremely helpful (we have had a emergent health issue before we leaved and the reception has immediately arranged a late check out for us without asking for additional fee payment) Well located hotel

Also, in our opinion, the pillows were too soft, and it wasn’t very comfortable to sleep on them. Overall, stylish, new hotel with a great location. The staff were very polite, and our stay was comfortable

The room is quite simple, clean and tidy. There are no disposable toothbrushes and slippers. The paper towels are just a small package. It is a bit too environmentally friendly

Stayed here for a conference at Faculty of Law U of Barcelona which is very close to the hotel. The hotel is lovely with fair size rooms, great breakfast, a nice lounge/restaurant and a small roof top pool to cool off in

There was works right outside but it didn’t bother us as the windows were sound proof. Lovely staff who were on hand to do anything. Lovely touches with chocolates & sweets in reception if you fancied

This hotel is located off the busiest street in the city. Close to many restaurants and shopping. From the minute we walked in, you could tell this was a high end hotel

This is a very busy part of the city so keep that in mind if you are looking for a quiet area. There were people outside milling around even at 1am

The location is excellent, right next to Plaça Catalunya, with the metro station nearby, and the Palais des Anglais just across the street. Passeig de Gràcia, a street lined with luxury shops, is also right next door

The hotel provides toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable slippers, bottled water, and a kettle. After checking out, I realized I had left my bag (containing my passport) in the room, and the hotel kept it for me

This hotel has such a convenient location, right next to Plaça Catalunya. It's super convenient for dining and shopping, and the Palais des Inglés is just across the street

There are restaurants on the top floor of the mall. Since we wanted to stay in Seville, but our flight back home was still in Barcelona, ​​we left our luggage at the hotel

Each room gets one free item of luggage storage, which is a great service and made it much easier for us to travel light in other places

Wow, I really loved this hotel! When planning my trip to Barcelona, safety was my top priority, and after careful selection, I chose to stay here

The hotel environment is very good and the room is comfortable. However, the hotel is a certain distance away from various attractions, and you basically need to take a taxi to travel

While it's not within walking distance of all the major landmarks, getting a taxi is quite convenient. I always felt a sense of relaxation once I was back in the hotel's area

Heavy velvet curtains and double glazing blocked out most of noise. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. Bathroom toiletries are in the drawer in the bathroom

I've recommended this hotel to several people. I stayed in a single room, but it wasn't small at all, and the breakfast was quite good

The hotel's location is also great; it's about 2km walking distance to Sagrada Familia, Passeig de Gràcia, the beach, or Arc de Triomf, which is pretty convenient

This hotel has a great location, but that’s about it. Initially, we planned to go up to the rooftop pool, but it looked dirty, so we didn’t use it. The cleanliness, amenities and service are okay.

When I lost my room key, they replaced it immediately without any charge – super heartwarming! Facilities: The only minor downside is that it's street-facing, so the soundproofing isn't great, and some facilities are a bit old

The staff are very helpful and polite. The bed and pillows are sooooo comfy. Drinks in the bar are cheap especially compared to Barcelona prices. The breakfast is great, so many options and actual fresh OJ

Stayed here for my husbands 30th then today for his 40th. The room was smaller than I remembered and the balcony needs a much higher stable rail. But that is where the negative comments end

The breakfast is really nice and generous, although, the buffet could be refilled more often. The orange juice is divine and the Illy coffee is the perfect way to start your day

Stayed here for a week on a business trip. The room is nice and spacious, however, extremely humid which couldn't be helped by the A/C either

There is also a bad smell coming from the bathroom drains but overall, cozy and nice room and was perfect for my stay and needs

My only gripe: The rooms are not very soundproof. I could hear the street quite a bit. And the neighbours has a young child, when they screamed (which they have the right to do), you could hear them quite clearly

It's a great hitel to stay at when in Barcelona. First, the location is great. Minutes from the metro, seconds from the harbour, not far from the beach, and about 10 min walk to the gothic quarter

It also has a lot of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is very good. It has a range of useful services. The staff is always there to help no matter the hour. There is always someone around

Steps away from placa catalunya and La Ramblas. Lots of places to eat and shop. Across from the hotel are two convenience shops where we bought water. The rooms were comfortable and had heat and air conditioning

The door to the lobby is locked so don’t have to worry about theft. Very close to the metro stations. Overall a great choice for exploring Barcelona

All amenities you require were in the room. They had a travel adaptor in the cabinet of the mini fridge which was very helpful
