Reviews
The downside is that the rooms would benefit from a deep clean and some maintenance. Although the hotel has been renovated, signs of wear and tear are visible and cleanliness standards need to be improved. Breakfast was okay, but service could be better - there is often only one person working, which means tables are left uncleared for too long and guests have to set up their own tables.
Overall, a lovely hotel with great potential that would be even better with more attention to cleanliness and staffing.
The lobby staff were very good and some of the servers were nice but there was a lady that was very rude constantly
First, the room telephone was not working, which meant that every time I wanted to order food or ask something, I had to physically go down to reception. This was very inconvenient. The bathroom was also poorly designed, the lighting was very dim, which made it uncomfortable to get ready, and there was no hanger or rail to place the towel. Small details like these make a big difference.
Breakfast was very disappointing. The only hot food available was scrambled eggs, and apart from that, the options were extremely limited. The orange juice wasn’t natural either, which was a letdown. For the price of the stay, I expected a better breakfast selection.
Another downside was the service. Staff seemed to be having problems with clients on a regular basis, and at times their attitude came across as rude or dismissive. It didn’t create a welcoming environment and made the atmosphere feel tense rather than relaxing.
Overall, the hotel served its basic purpose, but the lack of attention to detail, poor breakfast, and unprofessional service make it difficult to recommend.
Despite the hotel's website saying check-in was at 2, my room was ultimately not ready/cleaned till 4 o'clock. To make matters worse, the check-in clerk was arguing about check-in time and kept telling me "20 more minutes, 20 more minutes" perpetually.
Additionally, the room/property was not very well kept up. Multiple pieces of furniture were broken or damaged, and the walls were dirty. Towels/linens/everything was of the lowest quality and very warn, as was the furniture in the rooms and by the pool. The hotel's location is very good, and with some more care it could be a very nice hotel.
Nice bar service.
When we asked them to clean again they were still disgusting. The walls were covered in dead insects and filth. Everywhere dust and hair.
They even left our door open after “cleaning” so everyone could enter our room.
In the yard were dead animals which they did not remove when asking.
They never cleaned our rooms when staying there, they only put back out towels and bed.
The rooms are very noisy, you can hear everything and everyone.
There is a lot of glass with handprints that weren’t ours.
The pictures are pictures AFTER we asked them to clean again.
I do NOT recommend staying there.
