Hotel SB BCN Events in Castelldefels

First arrived and the room we were given had broken floors that would slide, the toilet was broken, and the window was broken and would not open. When we contacted the front desk they sent maintenance who removed the window handle and left our door to the room open and the window open with no latch. We then requested a different room, we were shown three rooms all of them that their own issues moving floors, broken toilets, and the smell of sewage. The front desk ladies Rosa and Ariadna were wonderful they upgraded our room to a family apartment suite. This room was nice but the bathroom still smelt like sewage, and the floor panels moved. To the hotels case they did provide us with a new upgraded room, free drinks, and complementary breakfast for three days. I do recommend that this hotel upgrades the current issues, although the customer service recieved by the two above girls was wonderful.

The hotel was nice, however it is a old hotel and lots of things are broken or to be broken. Our first room door was broken and needed some maintenance, but the staff repaired quickly. Secondly, our first room faucet was broken and needed to change room. The second room was a bit better

16 mins uber ride from El Prat airport Barcelona to Castadefel, the hotel is easy to find, close to a mall and Burger King which is open till 1AM so it’s always great to know, there is additionally KFC next to it as well as Lidl, Carrefour and Aldi. We did not have breakfast there but the hotel’s breakfast looks good. Eggs and Sausage and bakery 🥯. Swimming Pool and table tennis, ask receptionist for the bats and ball. Wifi is good, it was only 2nights so those 2nights were great. Ticked off Becos I had to wait a while to be seen as there was only one receptionist at the time but she made up for it with her salutation and warm reception.

Forget what you think you know about "business" hotels, because the Hotel SB BCN Events is a delightful surprise that's packed with fun, positive vibes, and a truly relaxing atmosphere!
From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. The check-in was a breeze, and we were whisked away to our room, which was an absolute dream. The decor is modern and sleek, but the big, fluffy beds and the incredible natural light made it feel cozy and welcoming. I'm pretty sure I could have spent my entire trip just lounging on that bed and gazing out the window!
But then we discovered the rooftop pool... and the game was officially changed! Holy wow. The views are breathtaking, and it's the perfect spot to unwind, soak up the sun, and enjoy a cocktail. The atmosphere is so relaxed and happy; it's like a little slice of paradise right in the city. And the poolside bar staff? Absolute legends! They were so friendly and made the most delicious drinks.
Even the hotel's location, which might seem a little outside the city center, is a huge plus! It's so peaceful and quiet at night, and we loved the feeling of escaping the hustle and bustle after a day of sightseeing. Plus, the public transport connections are super easy, so getting to the main attractions was never a problem. We actually enjoyed the short ride, as it gave us a chance to see more of the city!
The food at the hotel was also fantastic. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant, and the breakfast buffet in the morning was a feast! So many options, all so fresh and delicious. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring.
Overall, our stay at Hotel SB BCN Events was an absolute joy. It’s a place that manages to be stylish and sophisticated, yet still feel incredibly friendly and fun. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our next trip back. If you're looking for a hotel that goes above and beyond to make you feel special, this is the place for you.
