You certainly get your moneys worth. The positives are, the rooms are nice and modern, the showers are amazing! Very nice pool and the buffet is pretty good, do different themes every night and lots of choices. Also There's a few nice beaches nearby and plenty of bars to go to!
The negatives are, the walls in the rooms are thin and you can hear next door having a conversation at night and the air con isn't great either. The staff can be blunt sometimes. So overall, we're happy for what we paid for and would definitely recommend.

I stayed at Hotel Best Negresco in Salou from 20th–30th September, and honestly, I was so disappointed. The hotel was nothing like the photos we saw on Love Holidays — we later realised the pictures advertised were of a completely different hotel!
When we arrived, our room was dirty, outdated, and just not what we paid for. We ended up having to move rooms, which completely ruined the start of our holiday. Even after moving, it still didn’t feel clean or comfortable, and the hotel just didn’t live up to what was promised at all.
We expected a relaxing break, but it turned into a stressful experience instead. The food and facilities were average at best, and the general standard was far below what you’d expect for that price.
Really disappointed overall — this trip felt misleading and not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience.

Lovely location/ great views/ food was normal for Spain / the meat was quite salty/ reception staff need to smile a bit more . Pool staff were great / nice beach walks / nice food restaurants local especially the Mexican just down the road 👌 also the steak house 👌/ you need to take a kettle and cups if you want tea otherwise you can loan one for £20 a week / refundable. / the resort covers all ages from youngsters to the older generation and very relaxing place 👌

We have had a fantastic time at this hotel! Entertainment staff were incredible and we could definitely tell how much they love their jobs. The theme nights were enjoyable especially when trying all the yummy food. Thank you for such an amazing holiday and hopefully one day we will be back.

We stayed here for 7 days and overall had a really good experience. The hotel is very clean and well-kept, and our sea-view room was lovely – definitely a highlight of the stay.
The food was great, with plenty of variety and themed nights that kept it interesting. Drinks were reasonably priced (around €7 for a half pint and sangria), and being half board worked out well. There’s also a little shop on the corner for essentials, though not for food or drinks.
Entertainment was okay, though it would be better if music was played by the pool throughout the day rather than just half of it. In the evenings, the entertainment really needs improving for all ages – singers, bands, or games would make a big difference. One night we even sat around for two hours waiting for some sort of show, which was disappointing. The kids did enjoy the nightly disco, but the games room was very small.
The pool itself is also on the smaller side, and the location is fairly quiet with not much immediately around. That said, it’s only a 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved – especially with the beach bar hut right there, perfect for relaxing by the sea. Across the road there’s also a trip shop where you can buy a bus pass for just £10 (up to 10 people) – a fantastic way to explore different towns cheaply.
Overall, this feels more like a 3.5-star hotel than a full 4, but we enjoyed our stay in the peaceful surroundings. Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break with good food, lovely views, and easy beach access.

Just got back from an all inclusive week in this hotel & seriously can't complain about it at all.
The rooms are comfortable. Well maintained & the shower is amazing.
The reception, bar, restaurant & cleaning staff were fantastic.
All the food & drinks in the restaurant & bar were great & the staff work very hard to keep you happy.
The spa area is fantastic & if you get the chance to have a massage do it!!!
Very wheelchair friendly with lift access to all areas.
Would definitely go back in the future 👍👍

We had a lovely stay at Best Negresco. The sea view was stunning from our room even though we didn’t book it! The beach was a 2 minute walk, perfect location. The hotel was very clean. Plenty of varieties of food to choose from. Bar staff and reception staff were friendly, especially Adrian who was very helpful.

All the staff are so lovely and helpful, special mention to Adrian! The food is really good and so many options to choose from, we had something different every day. Highlight being the stir fry freshly made for you! The drinks have a brilliant range, you can do some self serve (beer/sangria/pop/water) if not you are served very quickly for anything else. The facilities are brilliant and there is so much to do or not do (depending on what type of holiday you want). It is €9 in a taxi to the centre of Salou or €2.10 on the bus just up the road. Out of all the hotels we’ve passed during our time in Salou this one is 100% the nicest on the outset and brilliant from what we’ve experienced the past week. Right next to the sea for lovely views (the sun set is unreal) beach’s minutes walk away. Thank you for a lovely and deserved week away with you!

Absolutely lovely place to stay! We got a sea view room and the views were stunning. Hotel was very clean & tidy. After reading reviews I was unsure I would enjoy the food but every meal every night was fantastic, big variety. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The inside pool was so relaxing and well worth the 7€. Big shout out to all the staff that work super hard to make sure everyone was served and Happy! Only a short walk over to Salou. We shall be returning👍🏻

We are currently sat on the balcony whilst writing this review. Service has been phenomenal. Food service, incredible. Seems to be a different theme to dinner each night.
Reception staff seem to go above & beyond, super friendly and approachable.
After researching the area and other hotels prior to booking this, I'm super glad that we made the choice and went with Best Negresco. (Other hotels are in the middle of streets with views of other buildings).
Only down side is that the rooms are in need of a little touch up here & there, but who actually cares when you only sleep & shower in the room (beds are super comfy also).
