Also, the main bar is being refurbished, which meant that the entertainment was being held outside at the pool bar, it was quite chilly on a evening which made it quite uncomfortable, but it also made it loud and there wasn't the option to go to bed while it was still on if you wanted too

A few issues with our room on 1st day (1) could not open the door lock; (2) no channels on TV; (3) handwash in bathroom & shower hard to use; (4) unfamiliar with shower operation

All were attended to immediately apart from door lock: 1st day different staff members turned the lock open with apparent ease (making us feel inadequate); 2nd day 'handyman' squirted WD40 into the lock (not solved); day 3 handyman arrived with a set of locks, one of which worked smoothly for the remaining time

Nice hotel. Clean, spacious, nice pool area. Could do with more cups and plates in the restaurant and a gym makeover.

The rooms were good and spacious the pool was great and no problems getting sun beds The pool bar let the pool area down it didnt have food apart from the odd sandwich which was sat out on the side in the heat as the hotel is situated away from shops it meant you had to leave if you wanted to eat during the day For an adults only hotel the breakfast finishes far too early 10 am but it was actually...

With 2 young children this made things difficult. When the kids did fall asleep, there was often people shouting/screaming etc at the pool bar past midnight on more the one occasion

A four-star hotel worthy of a well-deserved break. Ideal for marriage, couples etc. The property has two swimming pools, a paddle tennis court and views of the golf course. Impeccable service in the dining room

Service at the bar by mulud was exceptional. Made the experience feel exquisite, service for drinks was incredibly quick! We will definitely be returning to this bar for the service.

Elba Palace is a beautiful hotel built in a classic style and surrounded by a golf course. We did not play golf but enjoyed the hotel immensely. The rooms are large with an equally large and well equipped bathroom

There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We stayed half board and it was well worth it. Breakfast is taken in a beautiful seating if you can sit in the semi-outside area, where we ate everyday

Terrific Tania, Marvellous Mulud, Laura, Yarila, Nuria, Andrea, Angel, Theresa, Silvia, Sulliman in the restaurant and Hole 19 and the legend which is Lupe and the cleaning team who keep the hotel spotless

Room – 9/10 The room was excellently presented and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool. It was also incredibly quiet—you could hear a pin drop

Staff – 10/10 The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond. They surprised us with a bottle of bubbly, chocolates, and balloons for our anniversary, which was a really thoughtful touch

Food – 7/10 We only had breakfast twice. It was a bit hit and miss—no sausage or bacon on the first visit, and no fried eggs on the second. That said, the quality of the food itself was good

Plenty of places to eat on the strip. Entertainment – 6/10 There was no entertainment in the hotel, but with the strip just 50 yards away, there was plenty to do nearby

Cleanliness – 10/10 The hotel was spotless throughout. The cleaning staff clearly work very hard to maintain such a high standard

Pool was cleaned and water tested daily. Meals could do with a few more vegie meals or even more chicken on the menu even just cold to go with the salad

Excellent hotel, staying in Royal Level. Service from the staff is amazing especially Roxana on the pool bar and Daniel in the Royal Level restaurant who have looked after us through our stay

Rooms are good, pool area and bars exceptional. Cleaning staff are great and very friendly. Couldn’t fault anything about this hotel and its staff. Thank you for a wonderful holiday

Unpacked in the next room and immediately the clothes rail in the wardrobe collapsed! - with clothes on it!! The hotel states WiFi throughout the hotel, it is not!! No WiFi in bedroom, intermittent around the swimming pool and other areas, should not be advertised as this, as it’s untrue

Stayed here for 1 week last week, having stayed in Royal Level previously. We are Unique Level Barcelo members, but we couldnt get access to our room until 3pm, which was a bit dissppointing

The saving grace are the staff, especially the bar/restaurant staff who work very hard and look after everyone. We have hardly seen any evening entertainment, it’s like a ghost town

We have reported it but they ask what area and say it’s being worked on, no evidence of this. The Royal reception area has been updated but what about the rest of the areas

My concerns from previous reviews was completely unfounded. We arrived to a warm welcome, water and poolside nibbles at 4pm. Our apartment was exactly as requested and not located on ground floor level

Would absolutely return for a good value all inclusive break

The food was great, it was different daily although salad and breads were a daily staple but nice and fresh, the deserts were lovely and of course there was always ice cream :) The absolute icing on this cake though is its location

Although agreeing that the furniture is a bit dated it was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, cooking facilities (we didn’t use) were perfectly adequate

A two minute walk, yes over a road which was not busy and had plenty of safe crossings, to the best beach I’ve ever seen

The back y was a lovely area, and the maid service was daily. Although we did not have AC we hired a nice big fan at €2

The food was varied and good quality in fact the Christmas Gala Dinner outstanding ⭐️ We had no issue with sun loungers everyone adhered to the no towels left policy though on our last morning I noted a gentleman ignoring it

It was my wife Wendy's 60th birthday on 1st December so this trip was part of her birthday present, when the hotel found out we came back from a lovely day out to find that they had left a lovely bottle of bubbly for her

If I had one criticism it would be the lack of cleaning around the sun bathing areas particularly the tiled surfaces they need attention on a more regular basis as people eating drinking and smoking in these areas daily

The location of the hotel was superb with it being on the beach front and elevated way above the path below which meant an unspoilt view of the sea. 14 and I must say it was extremely comfortable and very clean

We opted for a premium room and it did not disappoint. the furniture as noted by a previous guest could do with upgrading but the view and location of the room compensate

My General feeling in regards to the hotel was it was a small relaxed hotel in a fabulous location and our “Thanks” to all the staff for making our stay wonderful

If any managers read this The bar staff by the pool work far to hard and should be double staffed they are fantastic brilliant and always have time for you

Me and my wife were very supprised to a pool side breakfast being set up yesterday morning with all the trimming then to realise it wasn't for us but for coral travel

No hairdryer in the room but did see someone getting one from reception, not sure if this chargeable as the safe was. There is a note in the rooms saying that under no circumstances must you ‘reserve’ a sunbed

However, we arrived on the Friday and the Saturday and Sunday there was a large group of a few couples who were reserving the beds at the opposite side of the pool near the bar and nothing was said or done, not sure if they were regulars or had given staff a tip to allow this but on the Monday morning there was a guy we had not seen before removing towels, literally the minute people walked away, one...

A group of girls then came and reserved 6 beds, he had gone so they sat there with towels on them while they went for breakfast

Only 1 bar which was near pool and not a lot of choice, when it rained you had to shelter inside & no bar!!!! Location very good

the food was a bit repetitive but it's a all inclusive and expect no more. Best daytime poolside entertainment I have ever experienced

Very good value Great value accommodation! Our apartment was a bit dated, but for what we paid it was excellent. Close to beach, bars, restaurants and supermarket.

We met some lovely people! And even hacked the pool speaker from time to time and had song requests from other guess, the staff didn't seem to mind to much within reason 😅

Sun beds! Now if ur wanting a sun bed it's hard alot of guess said they set alarms in the morning for 5/6am to go and put their towels on the beds

Mixed review, first room awful, second room great. 1 star for first room, 3/4 stars for second. Location and pool both excellent

Other comment to make the pool and outside areas were cleaned regularly however the sun beds were not and some of them on the legs were very dirty

The landscaping has already been restored to its full beauty, so ignore the pictures showing felled trees. Drilling… what drilling? The only sounds I hear are those of relaxation and enjoyment, which is totally priceless

Day 2 back at the Barceló Royal Level Adults Only, Caleta, after arriving with some hesitation following reviews describing it as a building site — nothing could be further from the truth

And as for the staff — it is wonderful to see so many familiar faces still here, doing what they do best within a brand that clearly cares for their welfare and provides job satisfaction

The new bar is still undergoing a few finishing touches, as you’d expect with any new development, but once open it will be a fantastic addition to the hotel

Excellent stay from start to finish. The Avanti team were professional, helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless with some lovely touches of comfort. Beautifully decorated and on the beach location

Breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice and always a bright and friendly atmosphere to the start to the day. Rompeolas restaurant we think is just fantastic, amazing food and service

The room was elegant, overlooking the sea, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is buffet and table service for drinks and hot food. The restaurant has a quiet calm atmosphere

Lovely seaview room Very personalised experience from the beginning People so friendly in the island , slow paced of life but attentive service- Natalie well done ! I cannot recommend this hotel more to any solo or adult only travellers

We didn't have a problem with the noise level at all considering the location. We stayed seven nights and had a very enjoyable relaxing holiday

Fantastic location right on the beach! We had a 2 bed Seaview apartment with amazing views out to sea and access to the beach and beach bar. There is also a pool area with sun beds

Lovely small hotel with direct beach access via a secure gate and central for all the bars, restaurants and shops in Corralejo. Apartments are furnished and equipped at a fairly basic level but are comfortable and clean

Complex is small with only about 30 apartments. Very secure with code access to entrance gates. Just 1min walk to main ***** and only a short strole to the music square and harbour. Apartments are basic but comfortable

Range for 1 bed duplex to 3 bed Seaview. It's our 4th time here and we have booked to come back again in 10 weeks!

We had a very well-kept and spacious room with a large bathroom. Our terrace offered a fantastic view of the sea and the town. To get to the lively town and the beach you only need a few minutes on foot

As a solo traveler this didnt really affect me, but after 2-3mins, you better brace yourself for a cold shower - quite refreshing! ;-) Most importantly for any remote workers,La Concha has individual wifi routers for each apartment - the fastest wifi I ve encountered in Fuerteventura

Great location , quiet surroundings … apartment 8 was perfect newly renovated comfy bed. Would have liked maybe a kettle but solved the issue using a saucepan. Perfect to walk to town , beach or el Campanario

First of all, the location of the partments was perfect - a few mins walk from the beach, and most importantly the Sunset Lounge - which has great live music each night from 4

I liked this hotel, it had the comfiest beds ever! The apartment was set out in a quirky way, which I liked. Lovely shower within the bedroom and very quiet accommodation

The apartments themselves are absolutely fine - don't expect Luxury, but it's not run down either. The only minor improvement could be the hot warer situation

The staff at the reception was very friendly and courteous and I was able to meet great people here as well. For me, the Surf Riders exceeded my expectations. Which was also due to the people I met here

This makes it easy to get into conversation at breakfast and at the evening events and explore the island together. If you prefer to have your peace and quiet, you can retreat to your room at any time

If someone cannot stand noise than dont book this room as 2-3 times a day loud music was coming from the resort nearby (only short time, it was part of thr daily animation for the guests)

What was special about the Surf Riders for me is the accommodation in several houses around the main building. So, even though it's a hostel, it feels less cramped

Bed was comfy price was very good including breakfast house was separate and only shared with one other couple but we had our own room and bathroom which was spotless own swimming pool and roof terrace were amazing bonus super value for money and great people nice service!

The pool is big enough for a decent swim though we found it too cold in March. The bar offers a good selection of food and drink though it is currently operating shorter hours due to staff shortages

We stayed at Castillo Playa for 8 weeks, the location is wonderful, bungalows are dated but everything that you need is available, Pool bar serves some great food and decent beer at reasonable prices, biggest disappointment was the non existent cleaning at the bungalow for our last 2 weeks, unless we visited reception with a request for clean towels, bed sheets etc

Staff at pool bar were sometimes stand offish, but a big thanks to Lynn who was absolutely wonderful, unfortunately she left last Sunday, would we return, not likely as the cleanliness is lax, even for a 2 star establishment

We have just spent the past 8 weeks here. Good things to say, lovely community feel, great clean pool , reasonable pool bar with a fairly good menu. ,fab location within easy reach of almost anything you might want

Although I wrote pool bar is reasonable , some of the front of house staff in bar can be menopausal at times, this excludes the recent manageress , Lyn, who has sadly left until her departure it was much nicer

The apartments themselves are spacious and with ample storage space. Facilities for self catering are good. The terrace is also a generous size with ample room for tables, chairs and sun beds

If you want a high quality, all inclusive hotel with entertainment and hundreds of sunbeds, don't book here If you do want a simple "family" run hotel which acts an ideal Base to explore the island, then CDLF could just be the place you are looking for

The owners and staff are so friendly, special shout out to Sonia on reception and Volkar on the bar, also Leon. They all went above and beyond to make our stay amazing

Receptionist was friendly and helpful and organised a taxi and late check out for my departure. Nice area by the pool to sit out in and comfortable sun loungers

Think a notch down from Travel Lodge in the UK and that's what you get. Communal area and small pool, with restaurant serving breakfast completes the story

The other guests were all warm and friendly and it was nice to always have someone to chat to if you wanted. For a low cost friendly holiday, I would definitely recommend!

The location is brilliant, very central. Rooms are basic but spotless. The bar is open to the general public between 2pm and 8pm. Prices in the bar are very reasonable

Similarly take particular care around pools and watch out for wet floors where ever you travel. This complex has a lot of stairs and slopes- most places do. Take care and you will have a great holiday

The high level is too warm and no air condition (only a fan) so not too pleasant. Some nights were very windy so open windows not helping

The master bed was very big and that was a real plus. All basic articles are there such as dish washing articles, trash bags, toilet paper and shower gel & towels

Basic small complex with good size apartment, good location and decent pool.

The reception was of high service and any request was quickly dealt with. Our cleaning man was real nice and polite. Almost every day the appartment was cleaned We can highly recommend this appartment to anyone

This is a cut n paste from 2 posts i wrote on a TA forum for the area after requesting information as first time visitors (famiky of 4). Hi, just an update on Boxing day. rapid airport and taxi to resort experience

I would say it was still better than most British summer days in the August school holiday!! The last 3 and a half days were really hot with barely any wind and the taxi driver (back to the airport) said the latter few days weather were more typical for this time of year

Bathroom and windows and patio doors appear to have been recently replaced but the other aspects of the bungalow were old and dated. (I’m glad I had no reason to use the sofa bed)

Feels like ours has had a partial refurbishment so far. Pools are all spotless but freezing. Food and drink- def lower end of the market. however actually not too bad at all in my view

Christmas evening we walked into Bollywood Spices and got arguably the best seat in the house. However, it was only 1 afternoon where we felt cold and that was mostly due to the fact we didn't pack rain coats

There is limited choices each day but really fresh and area tidy. Drinks are actually really good. Restaurant staff are the hardest working ones I have ever seen, even at 5 * resorts

Speaking of the pool, there are more than enough sunbeds, so finding a spot to unwind was never a challenge

Our room was checked daily, and we appreciated the small card system that let us request fresh bedding or towels whenever needed. The main restaurant is excellent, with plenty of variety and no issues finding a table

The FRESCO bar is perfect for daytime snacks, especially when you want something light without leaving the pool area

The smaller pools, however, are absolutely freezing! A special thank you goes to the reception and security teams

I became quite unwell during our stay, and they were exceptional — calm, caring, and incredibly efficient in arranging transport to the nearest emergency care centre

Their support made a stressful situation so much easier, and we’re genuinely grateful. Thank you, Alua Suites, for a memorable and reassuringly comfortable stay
