Apartamentos Benibeach in Benidorm

So we got asked for a £50 deposit each as soon as we came what we did not know about the beds aren’t great or the pillows tv is just Spanish was 2 beds so we had to stay on the couches and the shower went cold most the time

This hotel is a joke rubbish don’t go staff are rude they persecuted me and my wife pushed my mobility scooter down a ramp because I complained about There chargeing facilities and all I got it’s not are problem no empathy I wouldn’t stay here ever again if I was paid it was a load of sxxx We came home early, never never again.

I wouldn't go to this hell hole again if they paid me..!! Awful experience, I'm disabled and was forced to stay in half the time because they don't have adequate charging facilities for mobility scooters, JUST 2 CHARGING POINTS FOR 100 PLUS APARTMENTS.!! Yet when we complained, we were told tough, nothing we can do about it (and they didn't), it was the worst customer service I have experienced ever.!! You have been warned, do not use these apartments, they are all but useless, I'm on holiday due to the fact I have just been given a diagnosis of a terminal disease...!! These have exacerbated and made my condition worse by forcing me to walk into and out of the building instead of using my mobility scooter discriminated against, even after raising the issue with management.! DO NOT BOOK HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SAVE YOUR MONEY.

No air con, & the pool has no seats at all. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Two charging points for the whole hotel of 26 floors for your scooters or bikes. We were getting up in the middle of the night to charge vehicles we had hired. Most days no charging point available. So we paid for scooters that we couldn’t charge. Rooms basic, no proper sofa. No air con, no Wi-Fi. No proper sofa in our room at all. We love Benidorm, but not Benibeach apartments. A pool you can only lay on the ground at, when you are disabled, & cannot do that! And sun loungers tied up in the car park! Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures!

We booked a self catering apartment at Benibeach Apartments, as we like cook a lot of our food. We arrived at 4:30pm on 17th Aug 25’ after travelling all day. We bought some food from the supermarket so we could cook something. We attempted to cook our evening meal and the fuse box kept tripping off, including the fridge. I rang the reception and they asked I call back in the morning. We threw this food away, as it was part cooked. I called reception the following morning, and they advised that the engineer would come to have a look at it. She stated that it was very common with these cookers and the ‘hob and the cooker should not be used together as it will fuse the apartment’. She also stated to only use ‘one hob at a time’. This is not helpful if you want to cook a complete meal. We were unable to cook again that day as waited all day and the engineer finally turned up when we were getting ready to go out at 20:30. He replaced one of the cooker hobs, he put it all back together and then it all fused again (power out). He then went and got another hob replacement and fitted that. He said it should be ok now. We ate out again that night as it was too late to cook. On our way out I spoke to the woman on reception and she couldn’t speak much English. I tried to explain that we haven’t been able to cook since arriving and this was the end of day 2. She advised I come back in the morning to speak to the receptionist who could speak English. I attempted to cook breakfast the next morning, and it kept fusing again (about 6 times). I went down to reception and reported it again. The woman at reception spoke good English. I said that this was day 3 now and we were still unable to cook. I asked how I can make a complaint. She said ‘I can give you a form but it’s all in Spanish’. She suggested she send out the engineer again. He arrived that evening when we came back from the beach and said he couldn’t find anything wrong. He suggested it could be the toaster or the kettle, but he wasn’t sure. This happened many times after when we tried to cook, so we had to eat out, at an expense we wasn’t prepared for. We paid extra for a self catering apartment (£2300+) for our weeks stay and couldn’t cook. This is totally unacceptable. There were also other problems with the appartment, such as cracked ceramic tiles, rotting wooden door in the bathroom, no cups to drink from….. I feel that it was made very difficult for me to complain as I was English.
