Superb - uber modern interior, I like the aesthetic. Friendly staff! The common area / eating space is quite useful, along with the terrace of course!
Beds are really comfortable and rooms + bathrooms are quite spacious in general, the balcony rooms are even nicer!
Only thing was some rooms will have more noise coming from the main road so keep that in mind if you don’t like noise.

Beautiful rooms, really hot though & no way of changing the aircon to cool setting as centrally controlled. Staff were good on arrival, although we got stuck up on the roof for over 10 minutes as their doors were programmed wrong. Finally managed to get hold of a member of staff on the phone, but not very apologetic & no compensation - complimentary drink etc offered for the stressful experience!

Stayed with a group of friends and this hotel was just perfect. Location was ideal, the staff friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to fully recommend the Hotel Blanq Carmen!

January 2026, my husband and I stayed at Blanq Carmen for 2 nights. From check-in with Manuel to early morning departure arranging a take away breakfast and helping with our Uber, he was always very pleasant & professional — a valuable asset to the hotel. We loved the modern vibe of the hotel. Our recently renovated room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Appreciated the Nepresso coffee machine, kettle/tea and mini fridge. Large bathroom with excellent water pressure and plush towels. Comfortable bed with lovely linens. We opted for the buffet breakfast which was excellent with many options including scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, fruit, yogurts, pastries +++ and delicious made to order coffee.
Location was very convenient to walk everywhere we wanted to go as we love to walk. 30 min from the train station, 50 min to the fantastic Arts & Sciences centre, 10minutes to downtown and the Centra Market, 6 minutes to the old town with many restaurants and bars. Highly recommend the Blanq Carmen Hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. The room was clean and very comfortable. Excellent service, generous breakfast with fresh products. The location is another plus point: la Ciutat Vella can be easily reached by walking, and other attractions (such as the oceanographic park and the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències) can be easily reached by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and paid attention to our needs. We would like to thanks Manuél for his kindness and helpfulness.

When we arrived at this hotel we were welcomed by Manuel and he was so helpful throughout our four day stay. We then got to our room and it was spacious, bright, clean and we loved it here. It was a brilliant standard at a reasonable rate. We then had the breakfast and it was amazing. Ines was super friendly and efficient and made excellent coffee. Great value for money and highly recommended. The location of the hotel was great for us. We did many walks and runs in the adjacent park and then in the evening we were right on the doorstep of the old town. If we came back to Valencia would definitely stay at Blanq again.

Only picked this hotel as it was where our family had chosen. We chose a room with a view, if you can call staring at a busy road and trees a view. I did not get to sleep until 04.00 , which was after an 05.00 wake up in England to start our journey, not what I needed, and then woken at 06.30. It is very noisy. The breakfast was a reasonable offering and considering what we had at our next 2 hotels was pretty good. Considering I pad for the most expensive room I think it was poor value for money.

If you're looking for a peaceful stay at night, this hotel is not the right choice as it's very noisy, and you can hear every little thing. The pool hardly qualifies as such, but the staff were exceptionally helpful. Overall, it's an okay option for a few nights in Valencia.

Was a nice experience, the room was beautiful good breakfast and cozy place. The attention of the receptionist was amazing. Nice lady, kind and helpful. If I remember the name was Diana. Will come back soon

Great location within walking distance of valencia city centre and just a short cab ride to the beach offering the best of both worlds. Place was relatively basic but spotlessly clean and staff were very helpful. Rooftop bar is a great sun trap. Pool was not open when we visited.

The place is really good. I saw few big Spanish families there what means the place is popular for locals, what means good and cheap food. I wasn't worng. It takes a bit long to be served because was full, but for 12 euros we could eat a lot with the menu of the day where you can choose 2 dishes for this price. The staffs were lovely and even with no much English they tried to help us as they can. Super recommend.

Paella is amazing!!! They cook it 1-2 hours in advance as a good paella should be cooked! Don't be fooled to eat (instant) paella cooked when you order it for not more than 15-30 min.

Visited it again in September 2017. Big changes from previous years. Food quality changed. My favorite seafood soup doesn't contained seafood any more. Cod fish was salty, impossible to eat. Have to change to 2 stars. New owner? Only 2 waiters for all restaurant, nothing they can do, waiting time was 40 minutes. Cory (waiter) was very nice, going out of his way to help.

This local lived better times, now he has the fame. Four entrees and plate, 20€. The two starters took half an hour, not brought nor salt, nor oil that we had to catch the bar. 10 minutes and the other two. The dish (paella) that's supposed specialty of the house, past and pringoso. Not brought bread. The wine cooler (which they said they brought it right away). We will not return never more

Nice veggie restaurant but over the years the only thing that has changed has been cost and proportions. Portions have decreased drastically been reduced and prices increased dramatically.
