Had such a lovely time at Serein Beach, the location is beautiful and free from hussle and bussle. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious and the team of workers could not do enough to make you feel welcome and at home. Spent ages in the pool with my children and on the comfy sun loungers. Can not fault this place at all and really miss hearing the waves as I go to sleep each night.

The hotel is 20 minutes away from Yala Park. The room hygiene is not very good, but the front desk is very welcoming. We booked a jeep through the driver and were extremely lucky. We saw Ceylon leopards hunting buffaloes, eagles, and other animals.

Really lovely place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were really helpful and also let us check in early and arranged a reasonably priced airport transfer. The pool and garden area are really peaceful and nice. It’s conveniently located for the beach and all the local restaurants and bars.

The environment inside is super good, and the network is average and usable. It is a long walk from the beach, the alleys are very small, and there are many dogs. Takeaways are very expensive, others are okay.

The hotel has a lot of mosquitoes, but that's unavoidable given the climate. The room is super big and the staff are very welcoming. There is no elevator, so I had to rely on the guy to carry me up. It's a good choice for a one-night stay.

Perfect place to stay in Tangalle! Close to the beach and many good restaurants, spa and grocery shops. The location is nice because it is next to the beach and has a pool. The rooms are spacious and okay but lack a bit of maintenance. Shower was cold and the bungalows are open so animals can come inside and we had no mosquito net. Most of the loungers are broken but luckily we were the only guests so that wasn’t a problem. Booked a huge, clean room with a great balcony over looking the pool for a really reasonable price with a generous breakfast included. We stayed here as part of our trip via Rickshaw Travel/Heritage expediciones for 2 nights. Our room was big, clean and tidy but basic. The shower looked like it was only cold water but it did warm up. Breakfast was simple and generally a fruit plate with toast and eggs of your choice. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with convenient transportation. The rooms are relatively large and clean. I went to the hotel expecting three meals to be included, but ended up not having any meals. Although I refunded 11💲, the experience was not good. Greetings from Hong Kong! I love the hotel very much! Although the beach direct access is blocked but its still so close to the beach. The manager, receptionist and all the staffs i met are so kind to offer help. I was bit afraid from looking at the review saying the hotel isn’t clean, but I think ppl have been mixed with different branches of Somerset that close by. I don’t encounter any cleaning...

Supportive reception staff on making the booking and supportive other staff during the stay. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Rooms are clean. Love the breakfast and welcome fresh fruit juice. Good location near the beachside. Had sea view and loved the sounds of waves during night.

We had a truly wonderful experience here. Mr. Amila and Ms. Sandamali made our stay exceptional, even arranging a special cheesecake for my husband’s birthday at almost no cost. Very nice view especially from the pool. Good rooms and good WiFi. Service was less good, almost no greetings or talking.
