The service is outstanding and all, including the owner Nick, are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are huge but slightly impersonal and have steps up to the bathroom which could be hard to navigate at night. All the meals were excellent. We had a lovely two night stay. It’s a quiet hotel just off the beach. The staff were pleasant and we found the food to be good. The room was fine although the bathroom was oppressively hot as it was meant to have a feel of the outdoors with no air con. Our plunge pool was also in need of a little cleaning attention so we sadly didn’t use it. The main pool however was fine.

The noticeable hair on the bathroom floor was a big turn-off. The hotel's location is indeed good, but the view wasn't particularly great; our low floor was obstructed by tree branches. I'm sure this was due to the effects of the hurricane that occurred a while ago, but the wifi and TV were not working, which was very inconvenient. I chose a hotel with wifi, so this was very disappointing. There was no discount to compensate for the inconvenience, and no services such as free breakfast were offered. The room is spacious, but the soundproofing is really bad. The backyard is connected to the road and there is music and car noise at night. If you have trouble sleeping, I don't recommend rooms 10-13. There is not much to eat around the hotel, and the restaurant has few dinner options, but the price is not very expensive.

Highly recommend! The staff is very careful with the guest and we received a free upgrade room as well! 🥳 We stayed for two nights and can enjoy also the pool and the private beach. The bedroom was very clean and pretty big. We had a very relaxing staying here

Such a beautiful hotel, with beautiful rooms, directly located on the beach - you can have beautiful walks around and enjoy the ocean 🐠 all outside areas are also very nice so you can enjoy your day on the pool as well. Everyone is so kind - a big recommendation for this special place ♥️

The hotel staff was super helpful and very kind. The hotel is in the middle between Habarana and Sigiriya, making it convenient to commute to the different cultural sites. The hotel was calm and the pool well maintained! We highly recommend!

I think people will either love it or hate it, but I liked this hotel. The impression is that it is a hotel in the jungle with nothing around. You need a tricycle or taxi to get to the sightseeing spots, but they don't come around. The correspondence of the staff is good.

Delightful little hotel. Unfortunately views were spoilt by a new building right in front. However the staff were so welcoming, hospitable, warm. The bain - marie heating dishes didn't keep the food very hot, luke warm, but the wonderful chef whisked our plates away and instantly returned them with hot and delicious food. However wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Sri Lanka gem.

Quaint little hotel. Rooms were a great size with 2 day lounges by the windows. Beds were a little too firm but still slept well. Nice and quiet with no outside noise heard. Bathroom set up was a little different but it worked. Toilet and basin in one room. Shower and basin in another. The towel rails were above the toilet though. Shower did leak out so the floor towel was always soaked. But we learnt...

Amazing views and vibe. Boutique classic feel to the rooms, which were comfy and clean. Great stylist. Friendly crew welcoming and with a quick check in. Would stay again in the future. Great walking distance to centre of town also. Cheers

English style room and hotel, decor was lovely and staff were great.

Staff were amazing!! All glove service. Food was excellent. Rooms spacious and big. We were lucky enough to get attic room which was huge. Rooms were quite cold, but heating is available..Ask for an extra blanket
